I've been wanting to get one, but as much as I like original hardware, games look like crap on my tv, ha. I can play them on my PC in near 4K and they look amazing. Hummm...
The image will obviously look better on PC but when it comes to compatibility, you still need original hardware. Some games still don't work right or have glitches. With original hardware, you're paying for the experience. You can't get that through emulation. If you want a better image, you can install the ultra hdmi. it still wont look as good as on a PC, but it will look better than the composite outputs.
I just use a smaller TV. any size PC monitor will look better than any 4K TV because of size alone. That's IT. The N64 does anti-aliasing a bit brutally.
I could value the price if you love like you said on original hardware. I still play on PlayStation Classic with Autobleem.. the emulation are great . HDMI output and better resolution possible.
Going by your video GoldenEye is laggy A.F. A faster SanDisk, or SAMSUNG MicroSD card might fix it, but I am not sure if it's the MicroSD card or the emulator on the cartridge that is to blame.
Not sure why it shows that way. The game played perfectly, no lag, nothing. Keep in mind this does not run on an emulator. And sd card is negligible with these games. The rom is flashed to the cart (which is where speed comes in) and then the n64 loads it as though it were the original cart
@@Restalgia it may use the original hardware, but it still uses a variation of RetroArch to emulate the gameplay. That's why JP, and EU games work alongside US games.
@@TheNews1990 The FPS drops you're seeing in Goldeneye is how the game runs on real hardware with a real cart. @@Restalgia careful because if you attempt to turn on your ps one and you got a cold joint or a wire not attached you can blow a fuse or worse, the ps one I worked on had point 3 barely touching and there was no green light when pressing power, I changed the fuse, checked for continuity, re checked my wiring, blew another fuse, I went through 6 fuses before I gave up, it's in a state that keeps blowing the 7.5 rail fuse every time, something really messed up, even with the chip off the console completely it just keeps blowing fuses, I couldn't find the short, I ended up just pulling a fresh console and chip from the closet and trying again, first try.
All I'm trying to say is really check your soldering before turning on.
I think the v3 has all the same upgrades as X7 in the on screen chart over the v2.5.
Does this support the usage of mods?
Anyone knows how to get info what version I have? All it says is Everdrive 64 and it has everything very similar to x7 even usb port for development
Ah I see it maybe v3 because there is a manual slider for screen type
How do i get a everdrive64?
Can u run snes and nes. Or other system
You have to buy the sd card on the side?
yes unfortunately
What about SNES?
What is the game at min 4.01?
Hi, are there any games which have compatibility issues?
no compatibility issues. it got everything it needs (even a real time clock)
and it's no emulation at all.
@@RoddyDev question, for games that you need the controller memory 64 to safe, for the everdrive you need it too or does you can safe ALL games in the micro SD?
Thank you
@@GalantHeart you will still need the controller pak
I miss me the Crusin' games on my N64
Expensive, yes. Too much, I don't think so.
Seeing that one N64 game can out price this easily I would say it's well worth it
I've been wanting to get one, but as much as I like original hardware, games look like crap on my tv, ha.
❤N64
The one and only
But does it play Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine?
I've played that rom on my v3 Everdrive.
It might seem laggy if you're used to emulating the game, since emulators aren't bound to the limitations of the original N64 hardware.
I'm not sure where you're getting this info about Everdrives using some variation of RetroArch to emulate things, but that's completely wrong. RetroArch isn't even an emulator, it's just a front end.
Essa versão não precisa mais do uso do memori pac
No 64dd support?
It does support those 64dd games except for one Mario paint game I believe. That game stinks anyway, noone would play that today.
