What an utterly brilliant discussion. Capably helmed by Uzair. Wish we could have more such informative podcasts.
Did not know Dr. Niaz before. Brilliant analysis with examples from history. Where he has been !!
Excellently articulated talk
listening to Dr. Ilhan is always a great learning experience and Uzair asks very vital questions to get the conversation going. Great Work
Great respect for Uzair. Fantastic, serious, enlightening discussion. 🎉
Hi. Though out of context, I would request you to listen to a man called Prashant Kishore. Not sure what will happen to him in future, but this is the kind of political messenger India is producing. I think you will like his political commentary.
Very informative and comprehensively analyzed: great Dr Ilhan 👍
Brilliant.
Superb analysis. Keep it up.
brilliant analysis. An episode is needed re the role of media and journalists like cheema, warraich publishing dubious reports before the election
Grand dialogue needs to take place and is the only way out with guarantee of early elections. Military role needs to be curtailed with consensus. That is up to Nawaz sharif whether his party is willing to lose power
I thought Uzair Younis spoke more than Dr.Ilhan Riaz🤔 I may be wrong
Any talk about rise of Jamat e Islami in Karachi and that 12 PS seats were snatched from them too ?
You guys forgot the 1990 IJI elections. It was officially accepted by the head of the ISI that they did rigging and they brought Nawaz Sharif
Nice talk, but ominous
Who and what is analog autocrat? Please enlighten
The dinosaurs who refuse to accept Pakistan has changed. In easier language Munir and company.
@@HamzaPKRWhat actually changed?
@IndiaTides What changed is that ppl refuse to buy the establishment's narrative and came out in numbers in support of IK , or in anti establishment vote.
@@UyadaSyadaA I think Bhutto won such votes in his times. Benajir, Nawaz did the same.
I don't agree with your assessment.
Finally, PTI may be single largest party but cannot form government. For majority, other parties are needed. In short, Other parties have majority.
You can say Pakistani people gave anti establishment mandate although it never mattered before.
@@IndiaTides social media. As you said anti-establishment sentiment is not new but in the past it could be easily crushed using analog and print media along with brutal force. This time the brutal force was plain for the people to see using VPNs.
I beg to differ. He is talking only on one side of the equation. What is he comparing an incomparable situation, which emerged in April 2022? First, on PM's advice, the President dissolves the NA. Then when that doesn't hold, they walkout off the NA. Then the SC under Bandial unconstitutionally restores the PTI government in the Punjab. Then PTI dissolves the two provincial assemblies and demands elections separate from the NA. Then he launches his suppoerters to attack national institutions hoping for a mutiny. One thing is common in all of this: create instability and chaos at all costs. Where is Ilhan on all of this? Nowhere. This is, at best, a yawn!
That was the right of elected Prime Minister and what was done was per the Constitution and to gain clear majority through elections so PTI could govern more effectively without being blackmailed. You need to understand better and learn how democracies work. Early elections and such happen all the time in the West and other proper democracies.
Uzair, you must talk little. If you want to hear yourself and marvel at your insights, get invited by other shows. Should have let Ilhan speak more and instead of doing the annoying "sort of" routine asked more questions in the time you encroached upon. That said, the questions you asked were very good but could have asked him more. I am very impressed by Ilhan's thinking.
Difficult to understand who ithe anchor is and who is the invitee. The anchor should talk very very less. Very annoying
its a podcast not an interview
Contrary to the popular narrative, the Pak Army won as expected. IK still locked up for a long time, none of the political parties have the majority, divided country. Anyone governing should continue to be subserviant to Pak Army. This is exactly Pak Army wished for and got it. 🤣🤣🤣
