Knights of St Columba Centenary Pilgrimage Iona 2019
Pentecost Sunday 9th June was a glorious sunny day for all associated with the Knights of St Columba.
They marked the feast day of their patron St Columba on the Island where he founded his abbey and spread the faith throughout the British Isles.
It was from all corners of these islands that men and their families gathered to celebrate 100 years of the knights humble service to the Church and society.
The knights of St Columba were founded 100 years ago in Glasgow so this was truly a fitting occasion and enjoyed by all.

As a former Director of the Order I was shamed to see so few young faces. My father was one of the first Knights joining after his service in World War 1. Floreat Columba
