Just found your channel I’m wanting one of these so bad !!! Just worry about the reliability. Could this be a daily driver?? No one seems to answer this question. Also the one I’m looking at is a year 2000 with 70k miles for $15,000 Any answer would be much appreciated!!
Hey thanks for watching! As far as reliability goes these are pretty solid. You might have to spend some more money maintaining it compared to a Toyota. You can daily it, if it meets your needs. Not much space only 2 seats. In reality you can daily anything tho. Price seems good just watch out for the rear subframe since that’s the weak point
Hey man I own a 97 m3 and since I have owned the car there has always been a problem with cold starts causing a good bit of smoke, If this helps at all the problem for me at least is worn valve stem seals causing a bit of smoke not enough making it a massive problem and a little bit of high oil consumption 1 quart every 3000 miles.
I’ll definitely keep an eye on the oil level. But since smokes white I don’t think it’s oil but I’ll definitely watch it. It needs some miles that’s for sure

I have seen HG's blow with normal leaking oil, and passing that color test. A real test, comepression check.
Definitely going to keep an eye on it and when I pull the car out of storage look into it more.
