Jean Grey (Dark Phoenix) - All Scenes Powers
X-Men, still grieving over the death of Phoenix (Jean Grey), is investigating a case of a missing mutant girl in Northern Japan. This leads them to a mysterious virus that turns mutants into monsters. U-Men and the Inner Circle want it.
Jean was a member of the X-Men. At some point, Jean lost control of the Phoenix Force due to being manipulated by Mastermind. In order to prevent herself from destroying the world, she ultimately took her own life to save her loved ones and the world.

Why is it so hard to make Phoenix badass in films? Only cartoons and anime seem capable of replicating such power, such epicness.
In X2 they give a glimpse of the Phoenix true power, but was very brief and just hinting what Jean would become, in the Last Stand they screw up, instead of going with cosmic entity she just lose control of her powers.
This version of Jean and Dark Phoenix are extremely gorgeous. I could just... watch a full anime with her in it alone and won't complain at all.
That's true and to tell you the truth I prefer this dark phoenix than the live action dark phoenix I didn't see the movie but I knew in my gut that it was going to be terrible and boy was I right

The Phoenix Force is practically a nigh omnipotent being, thus making Jean Grey a ridiculously powerful mutant. This officially makes her an extinction-level threat by many who know about the existence of the Phoenix Force. Better off to have her die as a mortal than to have her live as a deity.
That why Jean killed herself because she knew if she lived she would of destroyed the whole entire universe.

This anime series heavily borrowed it's theme and tonality from the live-action films. The Dark Phoenix opening of this series was influenced from Bryan Singers unused script for the 3rd X-Men film.

The Dark Phoenix in the comics which is the original murdered billions across the universe.
It was never Jean Grey just a clone.
It becomes dark because the host is overwhelmed with its knowledge and power resulting to emotions like love, mercy, etc. to be useless or insignificant.
This was by far the best representation of the Phoenix saga.
This is probably the best version of the animated series. So dramatic, the artwork is so good.
Jean is the quintessential Phoenix host. She is so powerful and iconic being Dark Phoenix. It is unfortunate that in today's comics a mere mortal like Echo has a power as great as the Phoenix force.

I was always against MasterMind Mind controlling Jean Grey, yes he is powerful but his powers r based on illusions, and the 5 senses. Jean is a very powerful telepath, the most powerful actually.
Illusions is a fraction part of what telepathy is capable of and Jean Grey's telepath was stated to be impossible to Imagine by one of the most powerful telepaths Charles Xavier.

In an issue of What If, Jean never died on the moon and a chain of events lead to the Phoenix consuming the entire universe. Of course, I'm not fully aware of all of Thanos's feats so let me know. (Edit: I did also just think that Thanos could have erased all of existence and planned to rebuild a new universe sooo... hehe whoops. Forgot about that. Either way, they both are OP.) And you forgot the point that Thanos was powerful BEFORE the Gauntlet. Jeans power was only on the atomic level AFTER she was possessed by the force itself which was reacting to emotions.
She erased a planets worth of life. Not an entire Universe. Nor CAN she. The Phoenix is a cosmic entity they lives WITHIN a universe. It can not consume one. Whereas the power of all the stones can either erase or rewrite one in the image of its holders wishes.
If thanos wanted; he could simply WILL the Phoenix out of existence. Period.

If Rogue touched Jean, Rogue would die. She touched Ms. Marvel for too long and now she's haunted by her forever. She almost died touching Magneto because he was too strong for her. Jean's power would fry Rogue in seconds.

@@mr.kingofphenomenal4629 Nope! In the beginning she didn't have control over her abilities because of anxiety and mental blocks. After Xavier removed those, she could use her abilities at will, make her touch lethal or smooth depending on how much the victim resisted, take on multiple abilities at once effortlessly. But that didn't make her cosmic entity strong. Just a better version of herself. After a shit load of practice, the strongest person she absorbed was Wonder Man, but his energies were so strong that she reverted back to her original skill set and couldn't touch anyone at all w/out hurting them. She did retain Wonder Man's personality and abilities after that but, again, that has zero bearing on how much Jean's energy would pop Rogue's brain like a pimple. Jean is the 2nd most powerful omega level mutant ever, after Nate Grey/X-Man (Nate is the only mutant that terrifies Jean. Franklin Richards is beyond omega and is pretty much an NPC at this point. He doesn't count). Rogue is a bad ass, don't get me wrong, but she wouldn't stand a chance. Couple that with a Phoenix Force imbued Jean and you could stuff Rogue in an ashtray when she's done.
Finally someone which is not wolverine huge fan make this anime and this is the best X-men movie even anime better than movies

Unpopular opinion, I liked The dark Phoenix movie. They showed in this movie more of a variation of jeans abilities like telekinesis, telepathy, cosmic fire manipulation, matter manipulation etc.
Now the MCU owns the X-men. They use a lot of comic book references. So perhaps they’ll treat the Phoenix storyline as a Saga.

First Introducing her like marvel girl/Jean Grey. Then eventually Being the host for the Phoenix force giving her tittle Phoenix. Later down the line, Helping the universe stabilize the Emcron Crystal. Eventually, since the Phoenix has never experienced human emotions and all that power can corrupt Her and earn her the name dark phoenix. Then finally she will become the Phoenix of the white crown.

Saying Magneto can only CONTROL METAL is like saying Professor X can only READ minds - it's simply not true. Actually Magneto controls the entire electromagnetic force, one of the four fundamental powers sustaining the universe. Controlling Metal is "only" the easiest and most obvious application of these powers - he's never been limited to controlling metal and continuously keeps demonstrating that in the comics. I don't know why they keep reducing him to a metal-mover in the movies?!
