3DPN Christmas Bauble & The Challenges of Large Scale 3D Printing

Joel Telling (3D Printing Nerd) recently visited Siemens MSL and got this really cool model. So I printed it 3 different ways, including 700% scale like he had attempted...with some interesting results.

shave off the top of that thing to level it, turn it over and turn it into a lamp! is that up-cycling... sounds like up-cycling?

Good idea! I was thinking small table or something. Lamp may be better. It would certainly cast an interesting shadow!
