This isn't really a spoiler because they never go into it in the actual game, but according the the original cyberpunk adventure modules for the tabletop roleplaying game back in the late 80s/early 90's, Johnny essentially accidently killed Alt when he unplugged her.
Arasaka had used Soulkiller on her and she was basically transformed into basically an AI at that point, but she was wreaking havoc on Arasaka security systems (including stealing a BUNCH of money electronically) and was trying to reinsert herself back into her own body. Before she figures out how to do it Johnny and company come in, blow everyone away, and unplug her, severing any chance she had at jumping back into her meat and dooming her to a completely virtual existence.
Oh wow. Thank you for sharing. I figured he did because I noticed that can happen in the game if you unplug someone too early. If only he arrived later than he did I wonder what would have happened. Also did Arasaka use soul killer on her because she was no longer useful to them?
@hannahsolanagames Arasaka wanted sole rights to Soulkiller and basically forced Alt to fork over all her data and forced her to build it for them. Then they used it on her so no one else would even have knowledge of it outside the Corp. They thought they could control her but she basically annihilated their security and bounced around their mainframe for a bit wreaking havoc before Johnny accidently kills her.
26:51 that's what I was thinking 🤔
If the design was not intentional, that’s a strong coincidence
Congrats on your first year of law school. I'd love to hear about your experiences.
Thank you! and sure I can talk about that during the series. Is there anything in specific you'd like to know? or just my overall experience with handling classes?
@@hannahsolanagames Things you've learned they surprised you, things you wish you knew sooner, and/or how you adapted to the classes if you would.
@@michaelsimmons9435 no problem
