When the teacher is the one saying "it doesn't have to make sense", there's definitely a problem. I don't know how I'd be able to trust anything I'm learning from that person, and I'd wield that statement against anything she tries to correct me on.
These are the same people who don't believe that grades and tests should be a thing, so she probably would have no issue with you using that statement on her.

When teachers began calling students "my friend" it signaled the beginning of the end. I taught for over 25 years. When this trend started I told parents I would be firm, fair and friendly but I would not be their child's friend. I did not use the phrase "my friend" - I would use the child's name. I did not use "friends" when addressing the class. Friendships are among peers and as I was the teacher there to teach and they were the students there to learn we were not on equal levels. Had a few parents pull their kids out of my class but those who stayed went on to perform to the best of their ability every single day.

Yes, I work at a K -8 and one of our best teachers is an older lady who has taught 1st grade forever. She is strict and fair and guess what? All the kids love her the same as the more "friendly" teachers, and those kids come out of that class knowing what they're supposed to!! To say a student is your "friend" is getting way to personal.
It is MUCH easier to slide from "my friend" into "my lover", than "I'm your teacher" into "my lover". MUCH EASIER........................................................................................

I don’t think people realize how dangerous blurring the lines of gender is. I don’t even mean socially (even though it is dangerous in that regard, too). I mean medically; physically & mentally. Men and women have very different bodies and minds. Their sex determines a lot of things. It can help determine what type of medication you should have or how much of a dose you need. It helps determine the weight you need to be at to be healthy. It determines what your best learning method is (boys tend to learn better in a competitive environment where girls learn better in a group environment). If you go to the ER for lower abdominal pain, the doctor is going to check for four different things for women while the doctor only checks men for one thing- all needing different equipment. Heart attack symptoms differ in men and women as well. Even people who read medical records for a living need to know your sex to understand different medical conditions. People also need to know your sex for clinical trials since drugs and diseases affect women and men different- and it’s no wonder why. And that’s just the tip of the ice berg.

Forensics can take samples from the bones of a 200 year old skeleton and tell if that person was male or female. And it'll be the same centuries from now. The police will find some dried up skeleton in an unmarked grave somewhere, and doesn't matter if that person, born male,' identified' as female, had breast implants, their penis turned inside out, and walked in stilettos better than a runway model. When they do their tests, they'll be labeled John Doe, male, age approx whatever. Genetics don't care about your feelings. They don't care about your feelings when it comes to cancer, heart disease, diabetes, or a million other disorders and diseases. They sure as hell aren't going to care what your chosen pronouns are.

I found myself no longer able to work after more than a year of continually trying to push through the pain (incorrectly diagnosed and treated with medications that did nothing to relieve the pain, but made me too stupid to deal with emergencies at work, labor and delivery nurse,) followed by deep depression. I did NOT want to be on disability, and I still don’t want to be on Medicare. To watch that (expletive deleted) mock someone who WAS working just put me back into a really bad place.

We put people in prison, for showing five to eight year olds graphic and/or explicit drawings. Well... EXCEPT "teachers". WHY and HOW are they exempt??? And, THAT is why there needed to be a new law in Florida (and it should be in EVERY state). Teachers in some of the liberal school districts here in Florida WERE SHOWING K - 3rd grade students EXPLICIT drawings of ALL the different "sexual orientations", and they WERE SHOWING K - 3rd grade students EXPLICIT drawings of ALL the different "activities" each "sexual orientation" could "perform" sexually. Plus, they were having "special guests" come in and explain what He/She/They/Them, more like IT, was sexually... and have IT explain in graphic detail what they could DO sexually. Saying men can get pregnant is taking away the most important role women have had since the beginning of time. Ruining women's sports is bad but trying to deny their ability to keep the world's population going is pretty damn stupid.
I'd say it takes both men and women to keep the population going, we need sperm to get pregnant. We don't just magically get pregnant. Yeah, we carry the baby for 9 months but we need a little help getting a baby to form in there. I don't feel that either male or female is more important keeping the population going, it takes both.

He was miserable swimming against the men cause he was giving it his all, swimming the hardest he could, and he still sucked. Then he grew his hair out, switched to the women's league, and started annihilating all the girls. I dont know about you, but I'm usually a lot happier when I win, too. What a disgrace.
What I am curious about is if "its" event times have improved, or is it the "its" same mediocre men's times that are setting the new women's record times. I imagine that someone has researched this, but I haven't seen anything about it.
It's like if I sucked at baseball as a 25 year old man and felt inferior to the other players so I join a little league team and hit homeruns every time. Would someone actually be happy about that? I would think they should feel GUILTY about that.
