Holy Cow, that setup is Excessive LOL I absolutely love what you have done. I have the chair (racing version) but am thinking of purchasing the flight kit. I use VR, so I don't need the front panel, but that is a really good idea. I see a buttkicker there on the right side. I also use the buttkicker for my sim racing. Makes a world of difference. Every once in a while it will overheat and shutdown. I don't even want to race when the buttkicker is off. I feel as if the sim is broken without it on.

Thanks a lot. Im using Air Manager for Desktop and I use spacedesk to make the tablets additional monitors.

Very neat setup... You know I found a fold up. Lounge chair that people sit in at pools..( At Goodwill for $5.00)...and it even comes with cupholders:).It makes a great sim chair!!!...GREAT VODEO!!!🐦

I'm currently using a wooden swivel chair which I bought for purpose just so I could modify it and bolt on platforms for my joystick and throttle. It works well for a DIY solution. Good for VR flight.

I have the NLR Flight Stand.
Looking at that chair, I wouldn't trust it for long term quality.
When you're sitting on it you are leaning back and putting weight on the hinges. I already know I exceed its weight requirements. Right now I use a regular swivel gamer chair with the flight stand.
I had to do a couple of mods to make this chair a little more comfortable but ive been using it for racing and its great. Ill definitely want to upgrade to something more durable in the future.

I just got Oculus Quest 2.
If you take a look at my latest video I give a walkthrough of my setup. Works really well - I just need to make some menu shortcuts.
@@HomeSimPilot NLR has a base with a chair that is much sturdier.
I weigh 168. I have been using this chair for about a year and a half. So far, no problems with wear and tear. Much more sturdy than a typical lawn chair. It can be a bit uncomfortable on the lower back if you are sitting in it for hours though. I sometimes use a pillow for support, but the actual back support used in this video would be a much better solution.
Interesting solution. Love your work; very creative in the DIY scene. Agree with others; companies should be sending you stuff to showcase/improve upon in your style. Great job.

Hey man how’s it going. Hope all is well. We really should link up and do a flight. I’ve had a buddy come last weekend and we had a blast. It would be cool if you had time to come out next weekend as I have the same guy coming back for some more streams. Just let me know your availability.
The first thought that came to my mind was, is he going to modify it. Perhaps the company that designed the chair should ask you to help. It makes sense, you spend lots of time in your flight simulator. Besides you have skillz. Another great video keep spreading the knowledge.

Im still a newbie to the scene but ive got asetto corsa and forza horizon installed now. Which ones do you recommend?
@@HomeSimPilot nice assetto corsa is amazing thats the one I recommend, but it all depends what kind of driving you want to do. I drive assetto corsa competizione as my main sim and I drift in regular ac and also like the rss f1 car mods in that sim. We have a Facebook group of black sim racers if you are ever interested to join let me know
