I think myles did everything he could to not say it publically but Josina and Shefter dropped a dime on what apparently was suppose to be a confidential deposition.
We don't have any idea what was said and what wasn't but if you are out in the real world and somebody uses a racial slur against you does that make it ok for you to swing a weapon at that person's head, no it doesn't you will go to jail for that. If Mason really did say that he should be ashamed of himself but that still doesn't make it ok for Myles to swing a weapon at his head.
So if Mason Rudolph came out tomorrow and said that Myles Garret called him a racial slur, would Wiley believe him? I don't think so, it is so obvious how they are trying so hard to make Mason a villain, if he was a black quarter back this wouldn't even be a issue right now. The obvious favoritism and support for Myles Garret just because he is black is disgusting, and racist in of it self. This is an obvious scapegoat to try and reduce his suspension, and we have idiots like Wiley and Josina Anderson who support Myles Garret just because he is black, doesn't matter what he did, they will continue to make excuses and justify his actions.
I was on Garrett’s side, but if they go over the microphone tape and there’s nothing, Something more should happen to Garrett, if I’m Rudolph I’m sueing him for deformation of character, if it’s found Rudolph did say something racist, he should be out for a year.
Shleret, props to you. It is fuck up how penalties are called. Rudolph was the shit starter in this. Miles and Rudolph should be suspended indefinitely. If Rudolf got Garrett's helmet off he would have done the same thing. The whole n word thing, that's gotta be proved.
Howie Long AND Michael Strahan BOTH claim they've bobbed another over the head with a helmet during scrimmages. Whitlock calls Myles a cheap shot artist when flags are thrown on any defensive player looking cross eyed at a QB. Tell Jason to "google" James Harrison's hits on Massaquoi, Cribbs and Colt McCoy and I'll show you a cheap shot artist. Just because we are in a different era doesn't make past aggression any less egregious. Google Mean Joe Green kicking out 4 of Bob DeMarco's teeth. Just because that happened in the 70's doesn't make it any better than Myles swinging a helmet at a "soft" QB.
If this was TJ Watt hitting Watson or Jackson over their helmet less head, Wiley would be singing a different tune. This is another reason pro sports are getting harder to watch when you have millionaire athletes crying about the race card and offering their political views to the rest of American who barely make a fraction of what they make.
With all the fans yelling and noise on a field I think it is possible that Myles Garrett thinks he heard the n-word and it is also possible that Mason Rudolph did not say the n word. Perhaps that's why he wanted to keep it quiet he realized he may have overreacted and it was from somewhere else with all the fans yelling and noise on a field I think it is possible that miles Garrett thinks he heard the n-word and it is also possible that Mason Rudolph did not say the n-word perhaps that's why he wanted to keep it quiet, he realized he may have overreacted and the word was from somewhere else.
Boils down to this. It's not what you know, or even what you think you know, but it's what you can prove, and if you can't prove it, then you might as well say that it didn't happen, and move on.
Whitlock can profile Garret saying he’s a nerd who struggles with his blackness cause he’s not tough... let’s profile the white kid from Rock Hill South Carolina that is not taking any responsibility who opening stated he’s not going to be bullied and that’s why he went after Garret.. profiling helps no one it’s one mans word against another’s.... believe what you want to but Whitlock once again is out of line...
I'm not gonna be bullied = so I'll use racial slurs. Whitlock is profiling that Garret tends to turn to excessive force (multiple penalties) to prove he's tough.
Mason Rudolph will be on watch by fellow teammates, teammates all the way back to peewee ball, no allegations for 20 years, now a racist, until I hear more evidence from other players, I will question it, especially when myles garrett was looking for an edge to get less suspension, why didn't he say that last Thursday
So after finding out the brawl started over a racial slur, the dude that used the slur got a reduced suspension?.....LMAO! The NFL isn't even trying to pretend anymore.
Mason never got a suspension to begin with. He's the only person that didn't get anything from it. The guy that pushed him in the back got a suspension, his teammate got a 3 day suspension. And both teams got a huge fine.
Garrett had prior penalties for dirty hits? Smh let's just say he has issues that need to be resolved before someone gets seriously hurt. I dont believe any racial slurs were used. The video speaks for itself...
Donald Royal It’s a football play which is kind of what they signed up to play and I’m sure willingly accept. So try again, when it goes to malicious and non football is when Mason Rudolph pulls on the helmet. Self defense would be take your attacker helmet off in return. Then get restrained and attacked in the head region again, the swing of the helmet was again in self defense.
To call someone an ugly word is WEAK. Period.....And, it’s not what someone calls you,......It’s what you answer to....And, apparently, Garrett answered to it,.....if that’s the case. Get over the damn word. I’m too strong within myself to allow another man to make me act out of my character, because he called me a “bad” word.....This is sissy-assed bullshit.
Didnt they have this conversation already without TJ? But what is Whitlock talking about when he says even if its true, it does so much damage to Mason Rudolph?..and Wileys response, "Aww."..lol
Something that hasn't been talked about, so I'm going to ask you guys in the comments. If Mason did use a racial slur, does that justify Garrett's actions? And also, does he still deserve his suspension if the racial slur is proven true?
Nothing that happens can justify what Myles did. Whether it was said or not he shouldn't have hit him with a helmet, however Mason Rudolph somehow was all through this altercation and nothing has happened to him other than getting hit. That's definitely not fair to everyone else including his teammates who came to his aid that's gonna get punished and penalized for a guy that was actually in the fight.

And what about Odell Beckham Jr getting choked on the field and the refs not doing a damn thing
Was that guy fined? Suspended?
Jeffrey Abbey he never even got choked you must have missed it the day after they took a closer look. He just got grabbed by his collar and slammed on the ground like the little boy he is...
Hard to believe Wiley is ivy league educated when you hear him speak.......
I was on Garrett’s side, but if they go over the microphone tape and there’s nothing, Something more should happen to Garrett, if I’m Rudolph I’m sueing him for deformation of character, if it’s found Rudolph did say something racist, he should be out for a year.
There’s so many mics on the field they should be able to verify this claim
Whitlock is a clown.
I have only gained respect for Myles Garrett!
I have lost even more respect for the media covering this story!!!
Jason whitlock is a uncle tom
We can prove what Myles did we can't prove what Mason did.
What part of you can’t bash someone’s head in Don’t you get! If it was regular people we’d be in jail. Period
Polygraph both of them and let the chips fall.
Shleret, props to you. It is fuck up how penalties are called. Rudolph was the shit starter in this. Miles and Rudolph should be suspended indefinitely. If Rudolf got Garrett's helmet off he would have done the same thing. The whole n word thing, that's gotta be proved.
Mark shouldn’t Mason take responsibility.
Both parties have learned lessons from this...
Mason Rudolph will be on watch by fellow teammates, teammates all the way back to peewee ball, no allegations for 20 years, now a racist, until I hear more evidence from other players, I will question it, especially when myles garrett was looking for an edge to get less suspension, why didn't he say that last Thursday
actully that statement is false remember ..when Crabtree charged Talib with no helmet
'Real Housewives of NFL'
Nobles Life yup self defense. In the court of his right to defend himself would have been upheld
@@3030stick ypur delusional.bif you want to bring court into it. Garrett tackled him to the ground first he initiated contact.
Donald Royal Don’t start a fight and complain when you lose 🤷🏿♂️ no sympathy from me.
I have lost total respect for M. Garrett...this was so weak...its total garbage...come on people...he brings it up 3 weeks later ????....REALLY
Why is no one discussing what seems to be the obvious to me, Myles Garrett had roid rage.
That's what it look like to me. Doesnt make sense on why he would go that far
Or early onset cte he was not like this in college.
Guess Marcellus forgot about brian Cushing
Something that hasn't been talked about, so I'm going to ask you guys in the comments. If Mason did use a racial slur, does that justify Garrett's actions? And also, does he still deserve his suspension if the racial slur is proven true?
No but he deserves suspension for starting the fight
Nothing that happens can justify what Myles did. Whether it was said or not he shouldn't have hit him with a helmet, however Mason Rudolph somehow was all through this altercation and nothing has happened to him other than getting hit. That's definitely not fair to everyone else including his teammates who came to his aid that's gonna get punished and penalized for a guy that was actually in the fight.
