    I was in a nightclub once and T-stepped all the way across the dancefloor to the bar. I don't know how I did it, and to this day I'm still amazed.

    As a 60 year-old I have struggled for months to do these basic moves. This 13 minute video lesson has been a worthwhile investment of my time. I like both the jumping rope explanation leading-in to the running man as well as lifting your foot during the two-step so as not to step on it. You were able to build off what I knew already to a rough but promising start of more coordinated shuffling. Thanks!!

    This is in my bucket list , as I'm over the hill age .Love this dance style, love your explanation.Now , I have to try it out, hopefully I can show off on my bday ..nobody is expecting me to do this .😊

      You can still do this -- don't lose confidence. Just do it slowly at first -- and then work your way up. It pretty much is like he says -- jumping rope, while "running" :-) I'm 50 btw.

    this one i developed on my own without knowing it was already a dance, once you master the running man, you just play with it that was when i stumbled upon this dance. its kind of a shorter stanced running man with less in the air. great tutorial.

    You are the first and only UA-camr to have given me the very reason why I simply cannot do "the running man" and I must have seen dozens and dozens of tutorials on how to do it. I can't jump rope. Skip as it's called here in the UK. Never could get the rhythm and synchronisation of the action. Thank you.

    But by surprise, i can say your explanations are to another level.

    You basically show us you know how to shuffle not only inconsciously, like 95% of explainers(so do like this, and that's the running man!! "Thanks for the explanation! Now i know what i already knew"), but also consciously❤❤

    I’m 56 ans i’ts my second years on EUC cycle and I just love shuffling peoples, so I will learn that to with you.
    Very clear explanation.
    Know the only thing it’s with the music is synchronization, as you say with the beat.
    Haha ok whit the music I get confused, but I will break it down peace by peace and hope I will still breathe after 🫶🏻 thank you this is amazing

    The t-step tutorial is super helpful. I am still trying to get this down, plus transitioning from one move to the next (ex, running man to charleston to t-step).

    Here's a tip with these awesome videos. First go full screen, the rotate your phone 180 degrees, but do not let the video rotate... Now, you can mirror the steps facing the same direction!

      And remember to use your hips and upper body to create momentum for movement, rather than jumping up and down.
      It makes moving/gliding much easier.
      Head should be level and hips/mid section doing all the work.

    Easier to do moving quickly once steps are learned. Like trying to balance on bicycle when it moving.

      Yes! Great way to look at it Because truly it is all about balancing and weight distribution.
      Once you master balancing and momentum using hips rather than entire body then it all comes together.

    Finally!🥳 I used 2 floor tiles to do the running man, that gives a good indication. That sideways step I now also understand. And am working on the twisted running man. Thing is, it's still quite a strain and that's also what it looks like. Suppose you need to train the muscles. I can feel my but already, specially from that sideways step. Thanks a lot!!

    What's your background? If you're not a dance teacher you should be. All your teachings make instantly sense at least for a beginner. That last move looks difficulty on every shuffling videos but you make it feel much more easier. Yes I know more beat you have more difficult it gets, but before your teaching I didn't know how to do it at all.

      Back in the 90's we were doing this in the night clubs and at raves.... its been quite a while for me. Very rusty. LOL
      But after seeing all the videos on Instagram of that guy and his kids in Russia I'm totally inspired to get shuffling again.

      do it slow then slowly speed up. Take small steps at first, whatever is easiest. Once you get better take larger steps & put more effort into it.

      I was not expecting this many people to watch my videos. I was dancing in front of the mirror the other day trying to see what arm & foot movement look cool in order to make a new video. I turned my decals around on my floor to make videos from behind view. I found some ok royalty free music I'm practicing to also.
