The "solving dumb combinatorial problems etc" is just Discrete Mathematics, the kind you should really have a decent grasp on if you wanna do any serious programming.
The solution to the problem of 2 fireballs, 4 cards, 2 draws where (I'm assuming, I cba to go back in the video) you need 1 fireball is the inverse of the chance of drawing both non-fireballs:
1/2 (Because there are two out of 4 cards that we are measuring for)
and then 1/3 (Because we now have two fireballs, and one card we are measuring for)
So (1/2)*(1/3) = 1/6 so like 16% of failing, or 84% chance of winning
Easiest way to illustrate it for the people is to just make a tree (Showing all the possibilities) and the path there, I'm assuming that's what he did on stream.

Holly shit this math problem at the beginning got me so interested that I spend 2 hours solving it and expanding and proving it with 5 and 6 cards deck
for anyone curious about the drawing problem Its 83.33% there are 4 possibilities for the first card so 2/4=50%. Under the 50% scenerio that you didnt draw it the first time there are now 3 possibilities so the new probability of drawing it is 2/3 =66.66% of 50% giving you 33.33% add that to the original probability of 50% of drawing it the first time you get 83.33%
To solve this just assume cards are fireball fireball, some arbitrary x card, and some arbitrary y card.
here are the list off possible draws in order

so 7 total possible combinations of draws

Dolet you dont differentiate the two fireball cards and count them as one thus your list is wrong. Melon do keep in mind this technique only works because the chances of pulling one card are equiprobable otherwise this wouldnt work.

The odds of drawing the fireball off the next draw (assuming 2 are fire ball and 2 are something else) is 50% for the next card, which is what it sounds like what he is asking at first, but then he goes on "You're going to draw 2?" ??? Did he mention arcane intellect or something, or do we have two turns, like it makes no sense from the context given, so if thats how he explained to the pros no wonder they messed up. And then he goes on to not even answer his own question? Like either the editor was really shitty with how he cut this or Reckful is just shitty at explaining; and the answer with two draws is you have a 5/6 chance for anyone wondering.

this is incorrect because your odds for not drawing a fireball on the second draw were made contingent on the fact that you did draw a fireball in the first draw given the 1/3. However, if you did not draw fireball on the first draw you automatically would have a 2/3 odds of drawing fireball on the second draw as 2 fireballs still remain in the deck out of the 3 left

Odds of getting fireball second draw: 1/3(1 because 1 fireball left; 3 because we removed one card first draw it HAS to be now 3 cards, it's not contingent on anything and we are not assuming he drew/didnt draw a fireball first try, he just removed one random card)
1/2 + 1/3 = 5/6
We are ADDING here because in probability theory ADDING means "OR" for events: either you draw fireball first draw OR you draw fireball second draw.
MULTIPLYING means "AND" for events like Rowdy R did.

yes because after 250 dollar headphones the raise of quality is very slow, you pay like 5 times more than high quality headphone just for a headphone that performs little better in high frequency spectrum that you wont notice that much so its a big waste if you are not a pro audio artist
Where did you get that number ? I went from using regular headphones to high quality ones with a good dac and the different is night and day. Dac / amp makes a huge different. The dac/amp should in my opinion cost at least the value of the headphones, if not more for good utilization.

@@Serkong A digital audio converter is an amplifier that converts an analog signal to digital which your computer can read. That is what I believe it is. I would recommend looking it up if you're interested. Sorry for saying this so many years later. I was just coming back to this video due to watching Reckful when he did this stream and figured I would watch again for a good memory.
