I remember when Anti Parazi came to darktide and as a low lvl kicked rayne of ambers ass in a few duels then went on to beat us all. The guy was untouchable for a good while. Nice to see who was the guy behind the screen

I was actually surprised Anti Parazi quit asherons call for wow when I realized he was reckful... I see now it was that SUCCUBUS JENNA THAT PULLED HIM TO WOW, lol jk.. I miss u reckful, I wish you were here. As someone who grew up on asheron's call, and fell in love with PK, and fought with you for hours on end 1v1 in my mansions dungeon on solclaim... You had the same heart for the duel as I did. You grew up on asherons call just as I did. I relate to you, maybe not to the degree you experienced, in your struggles with mental health. I wish you hadn't taken your own life - we miss you.

He was such a good guy. It sucks that he could not overcome his struggles any longer but we can be thankful for all he gave us, and the fact that a lot of it is preserved in awesome videos like this for us to remember.
I miss this man dearly. This video was cool and I always enjoyed watching him do things that he loved. He had a way of including others in anything he was doing. As a viewer, I always felt connected in times of my life where I didn’t have much connection in my own life. Back watching this for nostalgia. RIP Byron.

I remember when they announced additional housing in a remote area. I rushed to the mine market, purchased the needed housing item (I think it was animal hide), and sprinted my virtual ass off to be the first one in the new development. I got the best house (Aluvian style) up on an overlook.

Yeah, Anti P was pretty baller back in the day. However, I was on my way out when he got big. There are a few notable PKers before him as well. Blattos was pretty good, but he cheated using a program that would make him move around faster/manipulated data packets to the server. I'd say outside of using it he was pretty decent as well though. Rookie was also a huge beast. Dvn the feared was really good, too. Rayne was also good. I was around in the early days, so to me, there were really good players that came and went, who were all certainly badasses of their time.

This video makes me so happy!! And guess what? Reckful AKA Anti Parazi as I knew him for over 10 years in Asherons Call before he got famous WAS HANDS DOWN THE BEST AC player. I remember countless 1v4 or 1v5s where he would be level 69 and everyone else was 120+
And he would demolish them! Don’t ever doubt this mans Skill!!!

If you didnt play this game on darktide like we did you have no idea how amazing this MMO was, best MMO ever made to this date. The small community was amazing, everyone knew who the good players were, people would fear you and run the sec you started casting. The clan monarchy in this game was amazing , exp chains, clans fighting other clans to control dungeons, cant beat it.

@@XTen1000DaysX people tried it, it wasnt good just unfinished , i played it longer than i should have really the end game was dead, the pvp died real fast, and the expansion that came out was terrible then game shut down but i did make alot of money selling accounts on it somehow

@@XTen1000DaysX Yeah most AC1 vets did not like AC2 at all. It was quite a bit different from the first one and felt dumbed down in a lot of areas and it also had the misfortune of splitting the playerbase between the two games which definitely hurt it.
it's hard to deny reckful saying he was the best, if he says he was he probably was. The druid gets to the top level rank 1 in any game he focuses on, he has undeterred focus when he's into something. He's not the type of guy to lie about that shit either, he has a ton of pride in being the best at something.

HOLY SHIT! The EXACT same thing happened to me. I was 16 and had Everquest in my hand at a gaming store in a mall. Went up to the counter and the guy behind it was all like "Man, don't get that. Get Asheron's Call instead. It's more fun." After a few minutes, and a promise to give me items and help level me, he convinced me buy it. Best decision ever! I played from the beginning and I'll be playing until Jan 31st, when they close the servers down for good.

I got ever quest as a Christmas present from my uncle it blew my mind I was in a virtual world with other real people. Eventually moved onto wow but I feel like ac and ever quest were the first for a lot of us gamers
Definitely. I had one other friend who played AC, 3 friends that played everquest and one that played Ultima online. They were the first big MMOs out there.

Dude I played this game when I was 10 too, for many many years. And now to hear you say you were Anti I'm like holy fuck, no way! THE Anti? POGGERS. You were AC famous, like MaggieTheJackcat! Lmao. AC will always be the best game ever made, in my heart. I remember when there were a million different spell components to buy, and to learn a new spell you needed to put the right combo of spell components to learn it.... having to cast a million buffs on yourself after every hour or two. Buffing your armor and you weapons... Collecting Amuli and Celdon armor of all colors to try and make cool looking sets... ahhh the good ole days.
I was AC Online Team Advocate and Sentinel from Beta2 till February 13th 2001 when turbine killed the team...
Advocate:Xeveniah Sentinel Nataku.. I am friendly to the sever emulator community and former players I played Alpha through the end.. and I miss the game.. it's old poor graphics but great story patches updates and 2 killer expansion packs and reasonable monthly subscription.. it's worth trying an emulator and I plan on setting up a public server in May and this game was awesome on dialup MSN gaming zone was great host.. some of the best years of online rpg gaming happened there..

A great tactic on darktide was to have a group of people give people lugian weapons to encumber them and remove speed and defense from them. 3 level 10s with hollow weapons killing a high level.
I had the exact same experience. I played the AC beta, but then EQ was coming out, so my dad took me to Babbage's to buy it. Then I noticed they had AC and bought that instead, since my beta experience was so magical and there went the next six years of my life. So glad I was there for Frore and the first Christmas event.

Asheron's Call was so amazing. True open world sandbox mmo... I still remember finding my first portal to some underground dungeon, fighting my way through drudges and then finding an Ice Dachi waiting for me at the end. Afterwards running into town to then start an all out 20 people brawl since everyone was trying to kill each other trying to get it (full loot pvp).

my buddies dad used to play this back in the day and i had the privilege to be able to play. i never played on darktide but i heard of anti and how much of a pvp god he was. the day i found out it was reckful my mind was so fucking blown really miss this man :(
Imagine having not only played with him, but had that same spirit for PK as he did, and fought 1v1 with him for hours... Man I miss him too, it was always good to tune into reckful once I found out that was AP, and just see him be a good dude with people and try to have fun. My mind was fuckin blown too and even though I was never a huge fan of wow back then because AC was so much better to me.... I'd tune in every now and then just to check up and see how anti parazi is doing, and every time id tune in it'd be him being a good dude, tryin to have fun with people...

Asherons call is the greatest MMO in history. Even till this day no game can hold a candle to it. Pvp, pve, loot system, shit talking, friendships, enemies, landscape, guilds, storylines the list goes on. I am not shocked to find out that Reckful originated from a true Pvp game. AC

There are some private servers being run. Coldeve is the 'highest' population but it's half or more bots.
Servers Levistras -- Living Aubereen -- Seedsow are the ones to play on, but they need higher populations

Tried getting into this game about a year ago as it looks like so much fun and I love all the features that it has but it was almost impossible to find info about this game online while playing, Ended up playing Everquest instead since it had more easily available wikis.

Nice to see where you ended up Reckful, we used to duel quite a bit on DarkTide, and lvled for a bit together when the new server came out (I was Wushi, Magi-Wushi, pretty much all the xxx-Wushi’s) you really were the best player, atleast back when I was playing. I was playing from Belgium so the only way to cast was by delay-casting
