    Thanks Paige I struggle when people explain things in crazy complex ways, just rolling the ball back every swing, and holding a head cover under my leading armpit........ changed my entire golf game.

    Informative content as ever, thank you.
    When I'm playing badly my biggest issue is getting through the ball. That's when I embrace my inner Bubba, stand either very open or closed to target, and starting hitting big shapes. Always seems to help me get back to good ball striking, then I start hitting tighter shapes from there.

    Really enjoy this routine Paige, the next time I go to the range I will certainly give it a try;especially like the warmup drills starting out hitting just small chips until you start hitting them square off the club face, that’s extremely important. And I also struggle on the transition a lot, sometimes it feels like I’m too quick on the downswing so the drill of pausing at the top should be a great help.

    That was a really great video. Just what I needed - saw the title and thought, yup, that's for me. I play nearly every day, but rarely hit the range anymore. And I was just thinking the other day, I really need to get my irons back in order. Thanks!

    I've been playing golf for just over 2 years and have managed to get my handicap down from 25 to 20 and I've learned that the best thing to do if your shots are going all over the place is to simply throw them in the lake. Using ones with a slightly heavier club head are the best as they make a bigger splash but those are usually the expensive ones. So if your a beginner or a complete hacker you'd be well advised to use cheap clubs until you've got a bit better. Good luck. Johnny Muscles

    Thanks for a great demonstration on drills. One thing I really liked is usually with videos like this you always get their A game and it was nice to see someone actually work through a mistake. Also like how simplified you described it where even an idiot like me can get it. One thing I do when I practice since I don't play too often is practice at a pace similar to what I play so I don't tire out and develop bad habits

    Had the opportunity to play with Paige in a Pro Am yesterday and I can tell you from personal experience that not only is she very well versed on golf she is also an extremely engaging and enjoyable person to spend hours with on a golf course. What you see here on UA-cam is all Paige. She is just as personable as she appears here as well as having a beautiful golf swing along with being a beautiful woman.
    I have been having a problem with early extension so I was behind Paige on one of her shots and I paid attention to her butt, get your mind out of the gutter 🤦‍♂️. She does a terrific job of staying in posture through the shot. I asked for some advice and she explained how she maintains her posture by focusing on where the pressure is in her feet. She suggested that I feel as though my weight is centered more on my heels coming through the shot and I hit all three remaining shots in the round better than I had all day. Finally, after trying several other ways to correct the problem I could feel how I was able to stay down much better. The proof will be in the video but I can already tell this will be the approach to solve my nagging problem. Thanks Paige.

    • @edzebrowski3929
      @edzebrowski3929 2 роки тому

      I forgot to add that it was just a feel that I was keeping weight on my heels where in reality I was probably centered and more balanced on my feet rather than out on my toes when early extending. I needed a more dramatic feel to offset the swing move that got my body weight moving toward the ball on the start of the downswing. Feel is not necessarily real.

    Love your knowledge on iorn practice drills. This is definitely going to help my issues thar suddenly appear to sneak in when I'm going well with my iorns. I don't know why it happenes but all of a sudden I'm hitting below average shot again. Only thing I can think of is I get over confident and maybe start swinging to hard because I'm trying to get too much distance for the club which makes the shot lose accuracy. Do you think I'm on track with that issue. So I like you will go through the drills you have demonstrated and hopefully that will help me. It all seems to make sense when watching your beautiful swing. Thank you.

    Thanks as always Paige. Great tips. I'm gonna re-watch the part on how you set up your alignment sticks. I didn't quite follow that part. • @ugafan3
      @ugafan3 2 роки тому +1

      She explained it weirdly imo. Just put one stick down in a straight line between ball and target so that you know you have a straight line. then put your second stick on the side of the ball you hit from, and lay it parallel to other stick. This second one is your "toe" line. It will be straight but will be pointing probably 5-10 yards left of your target (if you are a right handed golfer). then just move the original stick so that it doesn't interfere with your swing. if you need the original stick for a target line just move it off to the side slightly so that you can swing w/o obstruction. Hope this helps!

    My biggest iron issue is I am so scared to go too far, I have the ltd cobra irons and even besides that I've increased my distance a ton so like I can hit my pw about 150 with just like a nice swing, and my sand wedge about 125ish, and I'm not used to it so I'll pretty consistently fly the green or take a ton off my shots and hit it short

    Clubhead gets behind your hands in takeaway and then you're having to avoid a steep downswing and do your best to save it. Weak swipey fades/slices with the occasional massive block as your hands trying to shallow late. Take 8:29 for example. Look how off the heel you were there. You had to back out of the shot or you would've shanked it.

After getting my Iron's home and going to the driving range the pitching wedge was short (10 y)and the 6 iron was short and wide of target. JUST SAYING
