Saw them in Millbrook cornwall in 1998. In a pub called Mark of Friendship. Absolutely fantastic. Fair amount of 'social smoking' going on, woke up with a headache the next day.
@@fosbrothersLived in Millbrook forb3 or so years. Haven't been back for a few years, far too many, but Millbrook, KingsandCawsand were great old fashioned Cornish placed...full of tradition and great people.
I met him years ago as a lad. He was visiting down in Banbridge and our neighbour told him about our recent loss. ( My dad had just died. ) He came over to our house and said a wee prayer. I never forgot his kindness at that time. He could have easily not bothered and drove on. He should never have got mixed up in politics. It was like a drug and led him astray. He mellowed in the end and became friendly with former IRA man Martin McGuinness. -An unbelieveable remarkable thing. Without the nod from those two boys there probably wouldn't have been any peace. Life is often stranger than fiction. Best wishes. Take it easy over Christmas lads!
We saw Fos Brothers in concert in Wellington October 16. Fantastic!!
