I have tried this recipe for a party of 20 and it was instant hit, even a few asked for the recipe. The chicken was cooked to perfection, if anyone was wondering the combined time for boiling and roasting the chicken was too long. @@priyakannan1410 How about pan roasting over the stove? Deep frying might burn the chicken as it's marinated with sugar

I live in Australia, and it is very hard to find halal and delicious chicken rice like those sold in Sg. I found your video and made this for the first time, followed the recipe to a T. The only difference I did was I added chicken cube when making the chicken stock. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe ❤ It is definitely a keeper.

I’ve tried it for the first time and its taste so delicious! For the ginger sauce, since I don’t have the peanut oil I replaced it with olive oil + peanut butter😂

This recipe is too good. Tastes like the chicken rice shop roasted chicken. Amazing taste!

1. (Garlic) 5:4 (ginger) mince . 8 garlic .
2. Simmer water in pot, cut chicken fat&skin, add chickens in the pot. Add 1 tbsp of garlic paste, 1 spoon of salt and few slice of the green. Simmer 30m.

3. cool chicken in cold water and put in the baking pan.
- 4 T Brown sugar, honey
- Blended paste 1 tsp
-sesame oil 1 T
- soy sauce half cup
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- Back pepper, salt
Mix and coat the 🐔, air dry for at least 1 hour, Simmer the sauce till thickens. roast both side 20min, 200 C.
4. new pan. add sesame oil 1t , chicken fat and fried till oil came out. Meanwhile wash the rice 3 time. Then, add garlic paste 2 t to the pan. Mix for awhile. Add rice and 1 spoon salt,sugar. Kacau 2 mins. Put rice in purple and add 1 to 1 ratio chicken broth and water.
5. cool The remains chicken broth,add salt ,pepper and vegetable.
6. Assembling all and tadaa~.

Great recipe. Thanks a lot! I reduced the quantity of sugar and honey in the marinade and no sugar & salt added to the rice to control my sugar & salt intake. Nonetheless, the recipe still turned out fantastic.

I also used the method of par boil the chicken before baking , roasting in the oven , i think it splatter less oil in the oven.

Thanks so much for the recipe. It was a great dish, my husband loved it so much! Anyway in ur written recipe there is a step of basting chicken in between roasting, but in video I dont think that step appears. Is it necessary though? Do you find whether it makes a significant taste to the dish if being basted? Thanks
