  • A short video showing the Kriega OS-18 Panniers Mounted on the Adventure Spec Side Luggage Racks. This should give you an idea of how easy they are to mount, their location on the bike, their size and how they keep any additional weight low and central to the bike.

Useful information on how the Kreiga bags attach to the AS rack system, thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Hi Peter - I'm glad that you found it useful. Since making the video I started using one bag on the top of the rear rack. It's very easy to access there, but it's in the way a little bit when you swing your leg over the bike (unless you move right to the front), or when you refuel. I will be carrying a 40l roll bag when my side panniers are full for long trips on the top of the bike and I bought some 600mm Adventure Spec Cinch Straps which I'll use with some Kreiga loops on the racks to secure it in place. I'll probably do another quick video of that in the near future, once I've sorted out my packing list. Thanks for watching!

Bonjour merci pour votre partage, est ce que les sangle de fixation ne risque pas de s’abîmer avec le poids et les vibrations?
    Le Français te remercie 🖖🏼

The straps are strong enough to hold a decent load and the cam-buckles don't come loose. Either mounted with both on either side of the bike or with one on top, I've had no issues with them coming loose, even on 11 hour rides with a decent amount of 'off-road'. The biggest issue is that the security of the bags depends upon the straps being tightened across the contents. I don't use these bags for doing my shopping, as when you tighten the straps, they squash the bread and salad!!!

Do you know if the stock passenger pegs will fit with the side racks?

Yes they do, I just fitted them to see. You would need the correct length of bolt though - anything too long could foul the swing arm.
