I think this is exactly the way the devs intended the Create mod to be used. Not for all those super compact 3x3x4 999999 andesite alloy per hour farms, but instead building awesome connected factories that not only serve a purpose but also look great! They don't need to be super efficient, that's kinda the point of Minecraft itself! Honestly these builds that you make are really awesome and almost feel like a real living ecosystem! Great color pallete, beautiful shapes, and those trains... damn I just love trains... I really hope more people do stuff like this! ...Including me. I feel like I wouldn't be able to build this even in creative ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And also I was wondering... Is there any chance we can get the world download when the series ends? I would really like to take a look around in this world

The leafcutter ant is such an appropriate engineer for the lumber train! It'd be cool to name the Lumber mill something like "Leafcutter Lumber Mill" or just "Leafcutter Mill"

Alright, you've convinced me to start a create survival world of my own. It just looks soooo great! Also, I'd suggest placing a few semaphores on the straight between your base and Timber Holm so you don't run into any collisions anymore. And maybe add an "overtaking" split or two. This way you can ride on your own without waiting at one of the ends, instead just going and yielding to trains as you ride. Hope I phrased this clearly

You should name the little transport train, “The lil logger that could.”
I got an idea for the train taking the wood cover the storage on the train with logs so it looks like it's actually taking the logs to where it needs to go.

Its so much different and nicer than average create tree farm
You should switch out the tuff blocks in the ground for the tree farm with drip stone or mud blocks to make it look better

a little create fact: belts are actually inventories and funnels can take stuff directly from them
This looks sooooo good!
And think, that adding some sort of village would be an interesting touch near the lumberyard, imagine it being one of those lodging areas for workers.
(And perhaps some villagers for emeralds, though they'll have the jungle skin if you breed them there.)

Well tbh when I heard there's going to be another train exclusive for the tree. Maybe you can name it Treember, so just you know that the tree farm and train doing fine without being there.

i love it when you decorate farms makes the place feel more alive cant wait for new districts also can you make some really really long railways the short trip feels a bit off for a train but thats my opinion i guess :)

everything but logs and propogules goes into lava, no worries!
waterwheels generate more power per wheel if you have water cascading from on top going down, and even more if your have a soul sand water bubble column pushing up on the opposite side. Waterwheels are most efficient when water is moving on all sides of the wheel. No change in speed I think, however definitely more stress units generated

at 10:56 you increased the fan power to make it travel farther, but when in chutes it blows to the top (regardless of power) (power might change speed though). anyways awesome video

I suggest building Lima’s Shay geared locomotive for the log train (The Heisler and Climax would fit too). It was most prominently used in logging and mining. Literally the perfect engine the logging camp & sawmill (if you choose to build one for crafting the wood into planks, stairs, and slabs in future). And if you want a name I have come to an easy name for it, “The Timber Holm Special,” or if you want a more industrious name, “Timber Holm Logging Co.” as to give the logging camp some Identity.

This series is looking to be really fun. As possible idea for the lumber mill, maybe build a small camp or logging town, just for aesthetic reasons.
It would be awesome to see a freight train for all of the materials from the factory

For the freight train, I suggest building something along the lines of a Class 8 Shunter.
You have that triple axle bogie model that would fit quite well.

Because of "Mr. Leaf cutter Ant" I think his train should be called (The Leaf Cutter)...Get it...cuz its for the lumber yard? 😆
While not strictly necessary, if you want to future proof your filters, I would suggest changing the extraction filters to Attribute filters. Since there are tags for Minecraft:logs and Minecraft:saplings, it is much easier to set an attribute filter for those than manually update your farm every time that you add new trees (If you do. You implied that you might!)
you can extended belts by clicking one end with another belt as well as you can reduce it using wrench

I would like it more if you change the railway so it doesnt require the bridge, it goes around the little lake, i think it looks better and is more realistic, also you have a more scenic route

If you have fans under chutes, it doesnt matter how fast the fans are going. It will always push it up the chute.

like your builds, really interesting to see your train, might have an idea for a future build, an theme park with its own train, but its all up to you
Add redstone contacts to the bottom of your train and build a railway crossing singnal
For the lumber train, I think the Engine should look like a Heisler or a Shay with a Boxcar, a staved flatcar, and a bobber caboose.

I say for the narrow gauge train, it would be cool to base them off a work train and have small log cart being pulled behind.
One of my favorite episodes in this series! You should build the warehouse in the Beardew Valley, and have it automatically sort the wood types in their own vault. And make a new cargo train that would do deliveries of the wood. And on the back instead of normal freight carts, make them special by putting actual log piles on them!

I don't think you need the funnel to drop items from higher belt to lower one, I'm pretty sure you can put a chute directly below the belt and it will pull everything out similar to a hopper under a vanilla minecart
