Is this a local vanity project. We all want heritage, jobs etc but where do these boats and ships come from? Are they local? Will we be taking Scottish jobs from other Scottish locations. I want to see this sort of thing work but I do have concerns. Good luck to all involved.
ship building is dead in Scotland and it's high time these people faced up to the reality of it and stopped living in the past, China and other countries and can do it cheaper and faster than we can now. instead of investing in the past they should be investing in the future and modern technology and focusing on the glory days of tomorrow and not the past.
At last somewhere to park my 60 foot luxury yacht when I go for a drink in Govan
And the ferries that might end up going nowhere.
Is this the Fergusson shipyards new home ?
