@@thedangerroom7747 No you don't know what you are talking about. Wave dashing is cancelling a dash into a crouch then dashing again. Plink dashing lets you cancel a dash into a button into another dash. It also option selects a throw if the button you are using to plink dash is the H button. Plink dashing is straight up better than wavedashing but harder. It's also how people air dash repeatedly in the same direction with Magneto and the like. Normally the game doesn't allow airdashing in the same direction twice but you can plink to avoid that restriction. You're mixing up why people plinked in Sf4 with this game.
@@liamfoote7164 dude you can't get two dashes out of one plink dash. You are sorely mistaken, you are just doing multiple plink dashes in a row thinking you're getting extra dashes... And throw option selects don't really matter during a combo unless you drop due to poor execution. Also, that isn't how you're supposed to wave dash. A wave dash is when you dash once, then for every dash after, do down+dash ON THE SAME FRAME, not one at a time, allowing you to simultaneously cancel the first dash and initiate the second dash that same frame. You aren't supposed to cancel to crouch then do a second dash afterward, it's supposed to be together on the same frame. Plink dashing just allows you a second chance to cancel should you crouch cancel a frame late. You don't know what you're talking about.
@@liamfoote7164 a properly executed wave dash never enters crouch state and never loses maximum forward momentum from the dash to entering crouch state for a frame. The character just stays dashed and you never see them crouch.... Plinking just adds a second opportunity if you miss the dash input. Hit training mode and try it, you will never ever get two dashes out of one plink. That's not how it works.
Firebrand, Trish, Spencer. Round Harvest can set up the unblockable. If you can get a guaranteed Trish tag from Brand to Trish’s infinite you can just take them apart
There's no reason it couldn't work at any tournament. If someone wanted to pick Trish and really push her. You could pick something like Trish/Spencer/Doom and make it work. Nova/Spencer/Doom is likely still better but I think the Trish variant would be good too.

Because it's hard to do, recent tech and Trish is rarely played.
Adding on it also builds a shit ton of meter for opponents, so idk actually how good it could end up being compared to other infinites
