- Another episode of our favourite sightings from the last week.
Filled to the brim with leopard cubs, lions chasing leopards, a leopard hoisting his meal, lions roaring, leopards patrolling territory and lions hunting wildebeest.

Oh wow, incredibly beautiful footage Savanna. Always amazing to see the gorgeous Leopards, Boulders female, Khokovela, Basile and all of their cute, curious and playful little cubs, such a privilege to see. Loved how the Basile female pulled her little one out of the tree. Thamba is such a handsome boy too. And so cool to see the lions as well, Nhenha and Nkuhuma boy do not seem to have any further injuries after being suspected to be the culprits. So very sorry that we lost at least one and very possibly two of these amazing animals RIP.... lion dynamics are hard to understand sometimes. Loved the sighting of the Othawa pride at the end. Thank you so much as always Savanna. ❤

It's moving to see Auntie💔with the little ones, she gave his life for them, so I hope they will succeed and they will all reach adulthood...I still hope to see her sister💖again, it's is unthinkable that the two sisters died a week apart...and where is Skorro Jr?? Hope you get some news soon...

Yeah, keeping an eye out, definitely, for any news. She definitely served her pride and gave her life for it. Sassy definitely had ugly scratches over the right hip in front and farther back; didn't look really deep, so hopefully she's fine.
"Auntie" and Sassy really must've been fighting together against whatever/whoever it was. It's presumed to have been the "Birmingham" males, of course.
Only injury so far I've seen on Nhena is that hunting injury, most likely, in his face---like what Nkuhuma had a month ago.

This video is obviously from far back into last week, before "Auntie Ottawa" was found as a carcass, BUT after the 13th or so, the last time, supposedly, when JM "Auntie Ottawa" was last seen alive, as well as Skorro Jr.
Interestingly, the "Birmingham" pair didn't have any visible, new, significant injuries except for the thing under Nkuhuma's right eye--which I thought was healed BEFORE this video. Nhena had a smaller injury under the right eye recently, not visible in this video.
? How did the "Birminghams" here manage to kill both JM Auntie Ottawa AND Skorro Jr. without receiving maybe even one scratch in return? A pregnant lioness managed to scratch the PC males, she was 2/3 the size of these male lions, also the Ottawa male, maybe bigger next to Skorro Jr.?
Nhena decided not to risk climging/jumping down maybe out of a sense of caution. This stuff is risky for lions, and Nhena wouldn't need a ruined joint at this stage of life, when otherwise he's in very good condition/healthy.
There's a difference in the roars: Nhena is a bit deeper and rougher than Nkuhuma. Which one could've sounded like a "lioness" somewhere in Mala Mala in May of last year? But, Ms. Ximumgwe might be a bit deeper and rougher than Nkuhuma!
Skorro Jr. was definitely not killed by these males, he prob just run away like he did before, as for 2 females, in 1 vs 2, they cant do anything to big males, as they can easily get to their throat and kill them fast, especially as these females are almost 15 yrs old and not as powerful as they once where.
@@tr1x243 Okay, thanks, yes, we know this. You are "right" that maybe "Auntie Ottawa" was just a bit too old, AND WEAKENED by things lately, AND being almost mauled to death last year by the "Nwalungus," one of whom is a subject here.
BUT nobody here should miss the point It's NOT likely that 2 male lions will have NO new scratches IF they kill 1 lioness OR Especially 1 male lion. I gave you an example. You have only to look at images of the PCs after they killed that pregnant lioness.
Example 2: Blondie (NAvoca) attacked by apparently only 2 of the Ndzenga males, while Mohawk stood and watched. Please look at what happened to the Ndzenga males, EVEN though they could've killed Blondie.
Yes, the throat is definitely one way, as you mentions, and suffocation, but the PCs probably grabbed Ms. Tsalala by the neck on the left side, and that does show in the death image. You know that John Varty's tiger Satao grabbed lioness Savanna sort of like that too?
Back to the main issue. Of course you are "right" about Skorro Jr. Skorro Jr. probably headed for Manyeleti again, or somewhere else, because most lions aren't really suicidal. No, Skorro Jr. probably was NOT killed by the "Birminghams." They would have NEW wounds--so did Mr. T and Kinky Tail after fatally wounding the 5 the Majingilane (his death was much more due to sepsis/infection, probably, than any broken bones).
But frankly, the 5 Maj might've been a little stronger than Skorro Jr. The red wounds on the faces of Nkuhuma and Nhena in recent weeks, and last month on Nkuhuma, were most likely NOT from food fights or killing any other lion--those looked like goring from buffalo or antelope horns.
It remains to be seen what happened to JM "Auntie Ottawa." Unless she left with her boyfriend, Skorro Jr. You know that there are newer images of the "Birminghams" with Ms. Ximumgwe on Instagram? Take a good look, but the lions aren't at a good angle to see much, and I couldn't see really any wounds on them. Gingerella might be playing coy with Nhena again, hiding.
It wasn't Nhemna or NkM tjat killed the queen Nhemna was mating when that happen and skorro 2 jr ran for his life and still alive sabi sands is corrupt and no good
@@falanajerido875 Well no, we DON'T know for certain what REALLY happened. Rangers did NOT see/hear it. The public has been shown an image of part of her head.
I mentioned that Skorro Jr. might've ran for his life--and he should've, if he's smart--and JM "Auntie Ottawa," we DON'T know, and no carcasses for these two have been found yet.
It's "presumption," even worse than "assumption" here. Last year, Nkuhuma and Styx were seen in the area, Dulini, and then a commotion was heard when they beat up Auntie Ottawa-now-dead.
Also, we have to watch the culprits/suspects and other lions--like the PC males--for signs of a fight. So far, I think Nhena has the remains of a hunting injury in his face, like Nkuhuma had a month ago.
