Such a beautiful video. It's fantastic to see these animals looking healthy and living their lives as was intended. The Leopard sightings are breathtaking, the lions reuniting, a delight to see and the Cheetah wow, so very beautiful. . Many thanks as always Savanna.

    Heartbreaking for Scorro.
He lost two brothers and he is on his own.
He alone must protect our beautiful Othawa pride.
He has enemies @ two each surrounding him.
    Heartbreaking.

Here's why I hope the cubs were sired by Skorro Jr. It's not pleasant to watch a lion deteriorate, suffer, and die. But all 3 Tumbelas probably mated around a bit, with the Ximumgwe lioness and the late Tsalala lioness (killed November) as well as the Ottawas.
Sizinani (Thanda Impi/Nkuhuma) was the father, it seems, of probably both Scar and Limper Tumbela. He was also probably the father of Lambile (Tintswalo). Well, 2 of them are dead; the 3rd, Lambile, is basically healthy, yes, BUT he obviously shares something deep in the genes that must have come through Sizinani. Lambile has a bony fragility and seems to never get as bulky as Mandevu and Ncila/Ncile. Lambile does seem to have had some injury in recent months, but not real illness or "TB" yet.
Looking at Ncile's eyes face, and healthier hips, he was probably sired by Skorro Sr. from the Mbiri pride; Lambile was born into the Nharu pride, it seems, along with Scar and Limper. Mandevu sort of looks like Sizinani, but huskier, heavier head--Limper had a heavier head than Scar. The 2 probable Sizinani Tintwalos are darker in the manes now than blond Sizinani, of course--heredity from both parents sides. I'd say Mandevu is kind of a toss-up as to who the father is. And NO, we cannot always be sure when resemblance isn't clear, and not always even if it is, without "scientific" testing.
Back to Sizinani. Sizinani's pride/litter brother was killed by the Matimbas in 2012: the brother had an injured left back leg. The injuries seem to have been around the thigh joint or major joint that's down from the hips. Otherwise, both Siz and his brother both seem to have had that unhealthy boniness in the hips and even along the spine.
Just what killed Sizinani. In an image where Siz was in good condition and in his prime, there was a dark circle in the hip area on the left side. Numbers of lions get this thing, and probably most of those, based on video/images live through their prime years with it, and it doesn't kill them like TB. In another image of Siz, the dark circle seems to have been punctured, and is bloody. It's not clear, people were not sure, whether or not Sizinani got injured in the left area, hunting or whatever.
If the dark circle thing on Sizinani was punctured, it never healed back shut on Siz. On another lion, a healthy one with the same dark circle problem, could the circle thing have healed shut after being punctures? In an image of Siz in his last days, I assume, he is lounging on the ground and the thing in the left hip area is worse, with probably bloody bone visible. It could be that the original dark circle thing was somehow more rotten--or the bones underneath more rotten--than in other affected lions. Everybody here knows about "cancer." Cancerous sores don't heal, do they?

@@private4918 about 2 months ago I heard that Othawa Jr. and Gingers sons were in Western Kruger. I was happy to just hear they were alive but still nomads.

@@maximusdesimus4713 That's good to hear, I didn't know about that. But, people were speculating about the S1 males, the 2 with the Southern lioness, and maybe a few other young males, but these are not Junior and Ginger's sons! The previous sighting--or probable sighting of Junior with 1 son of Ginger was months before what you mention. Did you here/see about that?
I would be great if all 3 were alive and in western KNP. They left Sabi Sands for the Elephant Point area last year; that's western KNP south of Sabi Sands, as you probably know. I hope the 1 son of Ginger who went back north with Gingerella found his way back down to the 2 brothers!

@@private4918 I was told that by a guide that was from western Kruger. I always ask about those boys cause I always wanted to see them as kings of prides. But sadly things in lion world always take twists and turns.

Only Lambile is his brother. The tintswalo males Mandevu and the one caught in the snare never left their natal pride the Mbiri. Tumbela males are of the Nharu pride.

@@NANDO-vf6hi no they were ousted by the older Avoca/giraffe males. Sizannani went back with nahru pride and cubs and died soon after it cause of starving by his broken leg that make him slow and unable to follow the pride. His partner Skorro, the strongest one, tried to fight the 3 poder avocas by his own but it was too much. He got some Injuries in the battle but nothing serious. So he left the area and went to kruger in east. After it he disappear forever and the coalition end.

@@greatbearfromthenorth9944 thanks, I was wondering why the tintswalo males from the Mbiri pride weren't killed or pushed out. Junior and Buddy weren't around long enough.
