I'm 6'4 and I pick them simply because of the bed. Other airlines are horrible because I'm essentially in a coffin style bed as far as my legs go, no ability to term or lift my knees etc. and honestly the service on Cathay is still great, the lounges are fantastic etc.
I just want to agree that with most airlines you almost have coffin style bed. I can never sleep with the walls direct next to my head and my feet in that little area. I always sleep in a mix of lounge position and bed position. Funny enough the only positive about was (the old) Lufthansa Business Class. Top experience. I had an empty seat next to me though, so i might felt a bit more free than with someone next to me in that 2-2-2 configuration.
when I booked my Fukuoka flight, it was in the Herringbone configuration. Unfortunately, I received their notice - they changed it to the 777-77P config. I'm considering canceling my business class booking and switching to economy, as it's not worth paying the premium fare for just a slightly wider seat. Cathay's service and product quality have been declining, mainly due to their shift in focus from international standards to a more local approach, prioritizing China over global passengers. As long as they stay slightly ahead of Chinese airlines, they'll retain customers. Anyway, this will be my last flight with Cathay; from now on, I'll stick with ANA or Singapore Airlines.
Woah first time in front of camera in your channel!!!!! Looking good!!! And thanks for making video again. We thought u quit.. Looking forward to all ur upcoming videos
Your presentation is highly interesting to watch. Thank you very much. I flew to Hong Kong from Madrid 4 months ago,by Cathy Pacific Business Class. The for was very good, but on return flight the food on the plane was below standard. However in Hong Kong before boarding my flight I enjoyed a First Class meal in the Business Lounge. 😊
3:32 I flew Air Canada business class once and I'll never do it again. That tray table was so annoying. Your legs and feet are basically trapped in the lie-flat position with absolute no room to move around. I would rather fly premium economy than that business class seat. Looks like I need to avoid Japan Airlines and Etihad as well.
Qatar is kinda disappointing to me. Flew PE and J class to Europe from HK stopping in Doha, their multinational crews are hit and miss. Some are quite friendly and professional, most of them work with their blanked face and mind. Some even with black face all along the flights. I got the same issue with EK too. QR business lounge @ Doha is nowhere near CX. A la carte is really average and the place gets very crowded. For some reason, I always get shuffled in the shuttle bus to board the plane 100 miles down the terminal, never once I get to board the plane via the bridge. Feels like I'm flying with a budget airline when walking up those staircases along with other pax plus their duty free, suitcases and hand carry.
You pay a fortune to fly business and they have no salt and pepper. The seat foams are too hard and the matress they supply is shit. Food quality is nothig compared to ten years ago and the attitude of the flight crew is frankly shit.

Starlux is definitely my favourite business class airline (from the lounge, staff to the amazing Taiwanese elegant and young food.)
I actually loved this seat on my recent flight to Beijing in may. Perfect for a 2 hour flight. I wouldn’t like it on a long haul though.

Yea their lounge food is always good. Glad u enjoyed
I realised all airbus a321neo on cathay and the non er 777s (777-300) don't have flat bed business class seats
Yea so be careful. But even if u flew in these angled seats, for short haul, it’s fine.

Future new Cathay business seats will become like that also 😅

Why does this seat look identical to the Qatar Airways 777-300er business class seat?
Cathay leased some of their planes to Qatar during the pandemic. Once the contract is over, They will eventually be returned back to Cathay.
Excellent video.
Thank you. Appreciate that
The food

which airline are you talking about?😢
They have. You have to ask for them, not ideal but they have them
