I love using Tri Art . I've found for me that if I put the bottle in a container of hot tap water for about 10 minute that it makes it more viscous and easier to tilt on my paintings.Gina ,Thank you for doing this video . Gave me new insights on how to spread it . 😊
Thank you so much for taking viewers through the whole process of using Liquid Glass as a resin type finish to pour paintings. Just what I wanted to see. I bought the product some time ago and just wasn't sure how it would work. Thanks again.
I am loving using Tri Art. I bought my first bottle out of curiosity and used it on some of the tiles i did with fluid Art - stunning effects. Thank you for sharing your video and how to use it! ❤
I just watched another lady, she said if you have touched it with your hands, that it won't take. Gina, I love both of those. I think he artwork is gorgeous and the colors are awesome. I love them.
I use this and love it. I warm the bottle up in a water bath. I dam the canvas and pour a good amount in the center till the canvas fast. Then I take the tape off and do the sides. It is cold where I am so sometimes I add a small amount of warm water to the Tri Art and stir it in very slowly.
Thanks for sharing this! I can’t wait to see you try it as pouring medium too. I definitely want to order this now! I have a shopping cart that’s been growing on the site for a long time!
Thanks for the great video Gina. I’ve had the TriArt for a very long time but have been nervous about using it😂! I DID hear that it levels beautifully- using thin layers at a time. Thanks for sharing the “not-so-great “ way to use it😂👍

I love the Tri-Art ! I usually pour on way more than I think I will need JUST SO I know I will have coverage. It does dry fairly fast though…pluses & minuses with this product. Thank you Gina !! I’ve used your cards several times too❤❤
Thank you so much for sharing this trial! I love the look of resin. However, resin has not been my friend thus far, so I’ve been looking for another product. I really appreciate this video ❤
Gina, thank you for allowing us to see your journey into using liquid glass! I'm glad you can get the kinks out for us!!! I'm one of your Facebook fans, and I wanted to know how you prep your canvases?? Thank you as always for your gift of inspiration!
Thank you again for saving me from making the mistake. Your information is invaluable. I have cats too. I understand about kitty hair in the air. Thanks again.❤❤❤
Thanks Gina. This stuff is great. I coated my wood spinner in it. For puddle tilting you need a bigger puddle and then tilt off excess into a cup or something to catch it. Its way faster and it just silky smooth on top. I haven't used it as a pouring medium so I will be curious to see your experiments with that.
I use this on glitter and it does a great job of sealing the glitter without taking away the sparkle. I put it on with a paintbrush but don't use too much and make sure its spread about evenly or it can go patchy.
Gina and anyone else, I started using a tool that is like a face brush but it's silicone and it makes everything spread as smooth as butter! Just a friendly FYI, for you this would be for any small things since the brush isn't as big as your scraper but boy does it do an excellent job!!
I use my hands to spread much like resin and level before it starts to set up. If needed you can add a little heat to move it if setting. Keep container warm in hot water. Too thin and it will not dry like glass resin finish. It is quick setting but easy no mix product. I've been using it for several months. Not heat resistant for coasters. I've tried it. Great on canvas. It can dimple, leave edges bare, so recheck, fix and use heat gun before it sets hard. It is perfect for my art projects. Really like it on wood canvas.
Wow! That pink painting sure does look 3D. I was concerned how it would dry, if it would be uneven, but it turned out great! I bought some Tri Art myself but haven't used it yet. I watched Olga Soby's video debut on this stuff several months ago. On her 1st try, she tried torching it as I think it was setting up too fast. Big no-no. It left a white or brown mark on in the varnish. Now watching your video, I remembered it sets up fast. When u said how many varnish layers u do, my jaw dropped.😲😄 Glad u like the product.
I’m loving this. It looks great on your painting! Thank you for sharing! I may try it. I’ve been using the liquitex gloss medium varnish and it works great but I always looking for new products!
Thanks Gina! I just ordered some after watching your video. This looks super easy compared to two part resin, though the canvas texture still appears on the surface. I plan to use this on the pieces that I do not want to spend the effort with resin.
I agree with you, I have two gallons I bought about 8 months ago and because it is so messy and such a pain in the patootie, I have only used maybe three cups total of the product I do not like using resin and I still get divots with resin which I have to send out and reapply etc I think liquid glass will be the new way for me I'm glad Gina gets to work out the kinks for all of us first!
Hi Gina…I am experimenting with the liquid glass. I used it in some wood pieces that I sanded and used Gesso & I has to use a toothpick to pop some small air bubbles. When it dried there were many imperfections…I was very careful ..suggestions ?
I use this product, but, I mix with water, it goes on faster, smoothly, and I have the same results. I’m not sure if they recommend water, but, it worked good for me. Thank Gina
So funny, I was searching for this and this video came up in my search. Perfect timing. I would rather you get some credit than someone I don't know. Sherry Milton uses this stuff all the time as a type of glue instead of resin with her glitters and colored glass projects. She swears by it. Your paintings look gorgeous with it. They were gorgeous without it, just took it up a notch. My senior cat, Kallie, will be 16 this year and has become my Velcro cat. She even calls me by name, "Mommmmma or Moooom!!!" It really sounds like the words. She too gets the zoomies around my room in the wee hours of the morning. 💕😊💕😸💕
Personally, I wouldn’t because it’s sets up very quickly and I would worry about ending up with contaminants, like the abundance of cat hair it seems to snow in my house.

Thank you for introducing this product. I would like to try it. Sadly, I searched on the internet and cannot find it. I can find top coats but not this pouring and finish product. Do you have a link for it? The ones I do finish recommend using a soft brush to apply it.
Hi Gina- Where did you buy the small Tri-Art liquid Glass from? I never saw it in a small bottle. Also I think when you are pouring your liquid glass you can also use a scraper to spread it out. Thanks, Steph...
I see the grinch in the gold painting, too. I purchased some Tri- Art liquid glass a year ago but wasn't sure if I was using it properly. Do you prefer to use it as a top coat, or do you prefer using it in the paints? Also, approximately how much liquid glass do you use? Just enough to cover the canvas, how thick was the top coat. Also, I bought myself some Ambre Art cell activator. Have you ever tried it? They say the cells it makes are as good as Australian floetrol
It was 85 in my studio and I tried a pour and tilt and it was too liquid and moved too fast. I wasted a lot dripping over the edges. I saw someone mix in a little water and that worked for them. I have a spreading tool, so thats how I'm going to try it.
I’ve tried Tri-art and had to use a lot of it and it started drying before my piece was all covered leaving an uneven finish. It’s pricey too. Going back to varnish
The end result on you painting is lovely! Bur is this permanent or will water cause it to cloud after it has fully cured? It reminds me of Plaid brand Dimensional Magic and another product made by Ranger. Both are nice, but water-based and once cured, water causes them to re-soften and whiten and get cloudy.
