Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I’m a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

I used to be the same, but have recently gotten loads better at it by using white hot, and using the radar zoom axis, as well as making sure you have a steerpoint in the correct place, either by mgrs markpoint or lat/long. If you are marking targets of opportunity, you can also make a markpoint for the tgp using the jhmcs, when learning that, I've become such a better cas/strike pilot

Yessir. Even testing these weapons on the ground takes a while to learn, I've done a few thousand and it goes from taking forever to being super quick. Unfortunately those SMS take a longgg time to load up.
Unfortunately, the B1 pilots I know are all “off this year!” I asked, “well, you guys are staying current, right?” “NOPE. We have desk jobs…” WTF?!?

I hear them late at night when I’m in my city home, frequently throttling up to an amazing roar- as if the DEFCON status has dropped to 2 and they are rushing to get airborne. That’s a sound that gives me chills. I understand the enemy respects (fears) the B1B above all other American assets, as it brings more death than any other American system. One crashed on another of our ranches ~1989. We couldn’t go out there for a long time…

What I like about your guides is they’re clear and quick. I don’t have to watch some 25 minute video unlike some others cough cough who base the tutorial on a situation they are in and say things like ‘if you weren’t in this scenario then you wouldn’t do it this way’ so you don’t know what to do in other situations

More like: Go to your target. Tell them to stay still. Return to air, Keep telling your targets to stay still,. Drop the bombs, if you can. Continue to repeat "Stay Still" command until you hear the BOOM!
obviously when you`re going in with jdams you are going for static targets .... if you are facing moving targets slap some agm65d`s on your rails or something lol, not jdams.

I bound the page up/down buttons on my keyborad to the icp up/down button, since most of you don't need keyboard thrust, it's quite handy to select waypoints with it

After you press mark at the UFC you should chose TGP on the OSD screen insted of HUD by pressing next on the UFC... so you can use the TGP insted of the HUD to mark your points... But still great short tutorial by you
If the TGP is SOI and you press mark, TGP will automatically be selected for marking points

Lazy man tip: numpad plus/minus (i think?) can select next waypoint so i dont need to fiddle with the mouse and try to hit the ICP rocker a beer and bourbon in 😂

Youre dropping JDAMs, not HARMs or AIMs. You should have already cleared out ground based air defense.

you can also press 0 ( Select) on the mark points which make them the current active steerpoint
So I used to do it this way but now it seems bugged when I do this procedure, so I stuck with what’s in the video

So so you have to hit mark after every target designate with tms up?
Hit Mark initially to go into Markpoint mode on the DED. Press TMS FWD short to go into point track mode on the TGP, then TMS FWD short again to create the MARKPOINT. Each TMS FWD short after that will create a new markpoint. 26-30 are your created markpoints

Question, my jdams are often missing their target by 2-3 meters. I use tpod and zoom as much as possible. Anyone know why?
Try aiming at the base of the target, ie the ground where the tires or tracks make contact with the ground

This is my first time ever hearing about this game.. but in 1998 or 1999 I played a game call falcon 4.0 for the PC and at the time it did all this stuff that it’s doing now.. Falcon 4.0 even came with its own bible!!

Can the F-18 do this too? Ive only done it by manually entering the gps and terminal target data, and thats a pain in the ass.
Yeah the F18 can use the litening or flir pod. Put the bombs into TOO. Go do JDAM Display select MSN. On the camera pod use TDC depress to lock the JDAM to a target. Step to your next JDAM. Do it 4 times then depress your weapons release button 4 times to drop 4 bombs.

How is there no wind. In real life wind, air pressure and humidity are factors in ccip
first off, this is not CCIP, and it's also not CCRP.
Jdams can release in wide zone. (Hence JIZ, Jdam In Zone).
There is wind and airpressure in this sim, the bomb is smart, and can steer against the wind, so you don't need to keep it in mind for JDAMS
