Sad news to me. The dude sang "Try and Love Again" with the kind of meaning that warmed our hearts. He was sincere; the real deal. Just the right tone; pace; and spirit. This video deserves attention ! Bernie Leadon and him were key to the sound of the early Eagles..by far my favorite era of the band ! I believe Randy was a member of The Stone Canyon Band ( Rick Neson ) as well ! 😊
Randy had a boyish quality about him that was so attractive. And he was blessed with an exceptional voice. I love him singing "Take it to the Limit". I'm sorry he was treated so poorly.
Looking back after reading and seeing Randy's music career, he had an admirable experience with so many musicians and different styles. He was loved all over. He really was a wonder!! It's good to know he DID'T ALL! Music was in his blood. What a beautiful and in incredible talented man he was. So sad he died last year because of his illnes. IM RANDY ❤. Never forget you.
Randy was amazing and I would guess that his "Take it to the Limit" lyrics are more about his temptations on the road with sex, drugs and the life of a rising Rock and Roll Star. For a beautiful, kind, reserved and incredibly talented young man from Nebraska, his new lifestyle and fame was most certainly difficult to juggle with a marriage to his high school sweetheart. That along with dealing with the Type A personalities of the other band members. I don't think Randy was telling us the whole story as to what "Take it to the Limit" is really about. Godspeed Randy, we adored you. Your music is part of who we are.
Randy's up in there in rock and roll heaven with the rest of them keep rocking on Randy we love you and we're going to terribly miss you in your voice❤❤❤❤❤
