Love mulled wine! Came across a couple of German Markets this fall. Christ Kinder Market in Chicago and one in Cullen Alabama. Both had mulled wine and German treats. Chicago was by far the best.

First a disclaimer: where I'm from where summer is only 2 1/2 months out of the year, cold season was not celebrated lol With that said, my favorite fall season thing is a warm bowl of Rotsakssoppa. Looks wonderful until you simmered it. You’re burning off all the alcohol unless that’s the intent. My Bavarian husband says never to boil but to heat to steaming hot.
