I record professionally and I have a recommendation if you'd like. Every camera you showed is optimized for still images and they are all good cameras. You're getting all sorts of capabilities with what you have: low-light, color corrections, macro shots, etc. The fact they take videos is almost an accessory, not their main purpose. For your videos these feature aren't all that necessary and the stabilization is your biggest concern. I'd recommend using a camcorder, which is much better designed to be held steady while moving. The stabilization features you will find in modern camcorders will blow you away, and for very reasonable prices. I recommend to everyone the canon vixia line. From my experience, it's much more convenient than using a camera optimized for still images in addition to a gimbal; in terms of weight, comfort, and video quality. Even the hand strap is a blessing, I think it would benefit you tremendously.
It looks like he's using a Zhiyun Crane (or Crane M) - you can also buy all their products (like the Smooth 2 for phones, etc) on Amazon - you can check out other reviews for specific models on YT, but I agree that their gimbals seem to generally be the best perf/$ around.
Cracking up picturing the walking down the street with you're "gimbal" in your hand as you said. Takes some nerve to make these videos, Loved yet another, Winston
Hi Winston, I have been quietly viewing your vids for a couple of years. I'm an Aussie who has been making short trips across China for the past ten years with my Aussie wife. Everything you have said in all your vids is completely consistent with our own experiences. We have zig-zagged across the country from Harbin to Sanya, Tibet to Qingdao. We have made many friends, stayed in small villages and big cities. Met the old geezers and the near universally friendly younger generation. All that you say about baijiu drinking, dominating hosts, friendly hosts and pre-programmed hatred of Japan are all true. I have been trying to learn the language, but after 2-300 words, mostly suck at it. (my fault- not theirs). Your videos are slowly filling in the gaps of a vast jigsaw of a Chinese culture and it's all spot on. One topic you have not spent time on is how they regard Westerners (or at least Australians). They can't figure out how one person can do so much different, diverse stuff when we regard it as normal. To be able to write software, rebuild an engine, compose a poem, design a circuit or build a house. I regard these are just normal tasks, but it always surprises them somehow. Many university graduates are too frightened to change a light bulb. Sadly the biggest gap I see in China is limited imagination remaining after formal education. I observe very few who seem able to visualize anything they have not already seen in the past. A fertile topic. Keep up the good work! Haojile!
your channel is very cool man, I just happened to come across it randomly, and was previously not really interested in the topic of visiting china........ but your videos are great and informative, and is definitely an interesting topic to me now.
It is Chinese brands that have the connotation of low quality, not Made-in-China products. Basically, China is making literally everything for the entire world, and the quality of products all depends on how much money you are willing to pay. You pay one dollar, you got dollar-tree quality. you pay 900 dollars, you got an iPhone 7 plus. My suggestion is, go looking for Chinese equivalent brands that price at 0.5x-0.8x of western brands (very likely still made in China), and they will be really good bargain. In terms of promoting local brands, China is still far behind, coz it is related to creativity and innovation and things like that. However, if we are talking about have things PRODUCED, China can massively produce state-of-the-art industrial goods as you are willing to pay for it.
the quality control in china is not as good. You can get the same product made by the same company in China and the US one will have better quality control...they did a video just about this very thing.
It depends on the factory. Some factories are western run and have quality control because it has to meet international standard. Other factories just make whatever with no quality or low control. That's the big difference. It's all made in china and some same products can range in quality based of factory made.
So true. It's not where it's made so much as who makes it and what quality standard they hold their products to. Reputable brands are going to insist on quality regardless of where they located their production.

But I am a full time student, and couldn't be without my laptop for extended time. That's why it only saw the shop on vacation times.
I bought a Chinese domestic market Lenovo phone on Ebay earlier this year, it still works pretty well. Kinda funny to show friends the two SIM card slots too. For the price I paid though. 60 dollars, it's a very high quality product.

Ever since i met your channel I've loved every second of it. I've watched most of your videos and i love to learn more about China. Your video's are really entertaining. Keep doing you! Your style of vlogging is awesome and entertaining.
I have been using my huawei p8 for almost 2 years and it works perfectly fine! I will probably stick with this brand ! and I love your videos!!! STAY AWESOME!!!
Sherry Xie: I have a Huawei P9+ about a year now, still Loving it. it also has dual SIM slots as well as one can be used for expanded memory. Love the Leica camera too.
I have had my Nokia for 10 years now. It still works and have to recharge only once in two weeks. If you call the smartphone progress, I disagree. Eventually I will have to go with the flow, unfortunately. I am not against progress. I was one of the first mobile Phone users back in the eighties. But there are two new things I refuse up to now. Smartphones and screens on car dashboards. Both are not good inventions for mankind.
Using a Huawei mate 9 pro myself and absolutely loving it. Great phone for a decent price. I don't need Siri or Brixby and when you buy a Samsung/Apple phone some of the money you pay for the phone is related to these services. I am glad Huawei can deliver an alternative for people who want a great phone but don't need certain features that are designed to only really work in the US/UK. This is coming from someone who has been using Samsung phones for the last 10 years.
This is one video that has been really informative. What a revelation as I was clearly quite ignorant of what is out there for making personal videos. Amazing!
Hey Winston, I was wondering if you could do a village crawl for your older subscribers like me. It would be nice if you did one before you guys go off to begin shooting conquering northern china. Also keep up the good work.
4k60 if possible, but for quality filmed video footage, 60 fps does little. For animations, screen grabs, streamed gameplay etc, that's a whole different story, as you haven't recorded footage of something in motion, but you're basically simulating motion with a fast slideshow of generated still images. Indo get why many get on the 4k band wagon for UA-cam though. In a 2-3 years from now, its not unreasonable to expect upwards of 50% newly manufactured consumer screens and monitors, to be 4k. And continue to progress that direction. But look at your UA-cam view history. Did you _only_ watch 1 year old content or newer, last month? Of course not. But watching videos recorded and encoded in older, low res (eg. 480p) videos today, does feel a bit lackluster. By comparison, high res recording equipment, is relatively affordable today.
Fenix flashlights are quite good. In fact, China has a few well known flashlight brands that are famous around the world if you're into such products. If you're into audio/video, you probably know that OPPO makes some of the best DVD/BD players. Keep in mind though that the R&D of OPPO players are done in the US. Stentor is one of the most well-known and popular violin brands on the market, due to their range of high quality and long lasting instruments. Surprising uh? Who would have thought the Chinese would master the production of an European instrument. Anker is a manufacturer of electronic accessories and their products seem to be well constructed. If you go on Amazon and look at the review ratings, they're excellent. The Chinese are capable of making quality products if they decide to do so. Give them time and eventually their brands reputation will be at the same level as Korea's or maybe even Japan's but that will take awhile.
Fenix one-AAA flashlight finally failed. Need to see if their warranty means much... I’ve gotten used to the phone flashlight so it’s been no emergency. Very pleased so far with Anker battery packs.
I have an Anker for my impending trip to china, I feel dumb not buying one sooner. They're incredibly helpful when you're on the go or in the studio. They can charge a MacBook too with no issue!
That's kinda wacky, I'm in NZ too and got a Xiaomi shipped in. But it was a pain to get going on 2degrees and almost nobody I meet besides my Chinese friends knows the brand name.
yea im in the wellington region but the first time i recieved the device it arrived defective but then i sent it back and got a new one that seems to work fine! all my friends use this phone because after a couple of us risked getting it , they now trust it and its growing rapidly!
They are cheap and make products of reasonable quality. The abysmal software support and various design shortcomings bar them from being a Chinese top brand.
Funny you should mention that packaging tape noise, it's like an anthem track for any vacation I and my friends go on. We rate our holidays based on how much packaging tape we use to get things safely back home.
Watched this video on a ZTE Zmax pro. Which in my opinion has some great build quality. This phone is also highly affordable ($99-$150) with some flagship features that work well. I think ZTE is actually headquarter in Shenzhen.
Good video and going through the gimbal review allowed us all to see what you mean with regards to "good builds". But to add to Xiao mi, Oppo for consumer electronics developed and produced in China. In addition, Apple still makes all of their iPhones in China so is "Made in China" really all that bad? I think it has more to do with internal QC and Management. If they want to build great products they can if the company culture is to put out crap, forget about it.
Mathew Hoover the, with hi Fi stuff chinese products are really well made. audio-gd and questyle audio are two well known audio brands among hi Fi headphone enthusiasts
Good point taief miah! Totally forgot about the audio equipment. IAG is out this way and they manufacture for some of the best brands. As well there are some fair "unknown to the west" brands that have great sound good design.
I think the whole point of the video (and Winston straight out says it a couple times) is that of course China can make world class products - after all, they make a large percentage of the world's manufactured goods. It's just that Chinese businesses tend to not to want to. I think it's a good thing that more domestic companies are realizing that having good quality, aftermarket support, etc will build brand equity/loyalty and allow for higher margin products, and increase their bottom line in the long term, but it's a slow process since they have to rehabilitate consumer habits and expectations both domestically and around the world.
+ja pp It is actually easier to solve than this but political issues interfere: Xi has also spent his time in office trying to lay foundations to resolve those issues interestingly. :) China is quite a VERY interesting place on many occasions levels. I wish them 8 in their positive endeavors.
This Gimbal is AMAZING ... I did not know they existed with this stabilization. It would have been nice if you listed the Model number along under the links... Excellent Video ... Cheers
This reminds me years ago we used to call "Japanese Cheap Products" and look at the different now. China is going thru the same growing path. China is producing a lot of junks but also high quality products for every level of customers. I am surprised many of their standard products are quite good. This is a huge improvement over a very short period of time.
WRONG... and by the way, many American products suck... most Chinese product suck (percentages man!), some Japanese products suck... now "cost=quality" is a cheap argument as well... quality is the perceived satisfaction towards ones needs. MOST people seem to not be satisfied regarding Chinese quality... so, in fact, said brands suck. Big time in my opinion (but this is only my opinion). Just so you know (and this is a fact not an opinion) craftsmanship in Japan was and is still is one of the highest worldwide, since way before the industrial revolution. And as a very recent example, I had the chance to compare products of the same brand (European, not Chinese) produced by both Japan and China (and other countries in fact) and Japan still came on top. And I mean comparable products (in cost as well, exactly the same brand after all), and although the Chinese made was not bad in itself, was the weakest by comparison, Japanese being the finest. In turn this translates to "home-brewed brands". Now, this is not prejudice, china might be getting better, but still not there yet, sorry...
techo61 yea they sent 300,000 meat shield to charge then let them starve and run low on ammunition because the Chinese forgot to resupply their troops.
China is always making top quality products. The question is whether you would like to pay the price. If you buy cheap Chinese made craps in the west and get pissed, keep it in mind that it's not China's intention to make these craps but YOUR people want China to make really cheap products so that they can make profit. If you double the price you pay (which is sometimes still cheaper than your local products) China is very willing to make products that meet your standard. Now the question becomes can you afford your life then?
It‘s not the people, it‘s the companies that make good products with 1000 % margin on them, just to satisfy their shareholders, so that they cold live a luxury life and killing the planet on their way. Most of the world could not afford the so called high end versions.... make capitalism history, another world is possible, take back your lives
Let's do something to help each other out: compile a list of Chinese companies and brands that people have personally used and found to be of at least good to excellent quality overall when compared to traditional, Western competitors. Let's actually be productive and positive on youtube for a change. :) Hopefully we can support the Chinese firms that are doing things right. Reward good products with our wallets. - 1MORE [headphone company, Shenzhen]: this company is killing it. Absolutely incredible value and sound and build quality for the money, hitting well above their weight. And they even have one of the best IEM unboxing experiences I have ever had, at almost any price range and I am an extensive IEM user. Best deal IMO are their triple driver IEMs; - ORICO: HK-based computer accessories company...high quality USB hubs, etc...have not let me down yet over the last few years; Not TRULY a China company, but "one country, two systems" yadda yadda yadda.... - TONE CITY / MOOER / JOYO: For musicians out there [guitar pedals mostly], these three Chinese companies are in many ways clones of each other and they are all in turn clone attempts at some of the most recognizable pedal names and sounds in history. Quality in terms of tone varies from pedal type to type, as does consistency of build quality. But in terms of sheer bang for the buck, really hard to argue against these three companies. Worth at least a look and listen IMO; - LENOVO: Enough said, though I have some residual trust issues with them after the whole spyware/malware thing. Hopefully they have learned their lesson not to fuck around with people; - XIAOMI, HUAWEI, OPPO, LeECO, ONEPLUS: All 5 of these smartphone brands are legitimate contenders to the Apple/Samsung/LG thrones. Especially Xiaomi, Huawei and OnePlus as they are working onto the international market - they have no choice but to be at least on par with the current giants if they want to have any chance at all. Time will tell. That's all I got off the top of my head right now...I hope folks here will jump in with their own lists. Yes, IMO, the overwhelming majority of Chinese made/branded products are indeed still garbage in Q2 2017, with the percentage of top tier, global quality Chinese brands being very very low overall. For China's sake, that ratio needs to improve...quickly. Meantime, there are indeed Chinese companies that know how to do things right - and they should be supported. cheers!
Japan used to be the place that no one wanted a anything from. 80s cars and trucks were abysmal but they improved enormously. China is starting to go that way too. Now the Russians, they still can't build a vehicle to save their lives. Planes or rockets no problem, just can't do a car.
Actually their guitar and car work pretty well even in the 80's... That somewhat different with China... Japan's ibanez guitar were supeeer good the 80's model one but just that it is not we'll known and design is a fender knock off but the sound is supeeer different... And look at tama drums... People say they get better sounding drum kit in a cheaper price than ludwig at that time... This is why Japanese product get famous because of their quality... If their quality are also suck... I doubt they will get famous
Yes Japan and then South Korea was the same... No one wanted a South Korean television or phone or car in the 1980's... Now they are right up there at the top. China is improving just like those did.
Ur videos have gotten so much better dude. I been taking classes to learn french for two months ago. And after watching ur videos for about 3 days man I'm reconsidering my options 😂💪😎
Not that good quality, especially if you consider the price. I bought a MI6 and after one year the accu blow up. A while after that the fingerprint sensor was not working anymore. Next one will be not a Xiaomi again.
Just for a reminder, for the lower level product of Xiaomi, do not expect much from the camera, my Redmi 4 prime gives me shitty pictures at nights or when the illumination is not good, but anyway it definitely worth the price.
I'm a guitar player of many decades and a few years back I bought a Squier Custom Vibe Stratocaster for around $250. I've got guitars that are multi thousand dollars and that Squier is one of my favorite guitars despite the low, low price. Made in China and it is a beautiful little thing. The quality is very good.
Chinese Companies should be stepping all over each other to get Winston to market their products. Of course, given It passes the Winston QC test! He's a a great Pitchman!
I appreciate this video. Have had DJI MavicPro for 1.5 years, no problems, great shots. Even fell into a 9 foot deep pool once a year ago (got too close to water), I dried it out for a week, and it still worked. Still works. Indispensable tool for great stabilized shots. Its gimble makes it all look very smooth and professional. The Sony 4K Handycam takes great shots and more or less makes it easy automatic. That coupled with Sony 4K A6500 on the Zhiyun Crane works great in getting Multicam. These recommendations by Serpentza are spot on. I have had no problems with these tools, and the cost was doable.
Edwin Finch hope they will be able to post a few teasers when possible during the trip ... It might be hard to do with out a sat datalink in places I bet though 😐
laowhy86 there is the other part of the ADVChina brain trust 😜 I know you are chomping at the bit to get started on your epic adventure with your business partner Serpentza 💪
I have the same thing. It works great. Actually my entire house is basically a Xiaomi smart-home. Everything is interconnected beautifully. I really admire them as a company for doing stuff like that.
Love the videos. I've been in China for only about 2 years and tend to mostly buy Chinese brands because you never know when you find a gem. Basically the only two brands actually mentioned was Huawei and DJI (30sec). The rest of the video is a Cam tutorial.
I own 2 Acer laptops that are still working fine 10 years after. The same with my Acer smartphone. But I bought a "white brand" smartphone that lasted only 6 months.
They're doing OK in China, but not as good as in the oversea market. Oneplus has a reasonable quality control, they are essentially a child company of OPPO and so they probably share the parts purchasing team, the factories and the quality control team.
Another few brands I can add to the list of reputable, high-quality Chinese-made goods: Iron Boots, Flamepanda boots, Quan Shoemaker and Bronson Mfg. Bronson really makes great clothing for the price. Their jeans are pretty much what jeans used to be before Levi's totally zeroed in on just cashing in on their brand name.
I like your videos, its not like sell out for viewers or companies. You allways talking harsh true or most of time, correct if im wrong. So its pleasure and interesting to watch. Stay on your path and best of luck form Eastern Europe! :)
Almost 18 minutes and all I got was a drone (DJI), a mobile phone manufacturer (Huawei), and a gimbal. Not a lot of content here, but it's always interesting to watch the views when you walk around.
Yes, their wives and sometimes Wing can ride with them on the seats on front of them. For enhanced entertainment value they can wear cute/sexy outfits and pan to themselves once in a while. All while holding that wonderful little gimble. Great shots and enhanced content, Win-Win! :D
:) but seriously. they build motorcycles. . I'm sure they could weld or clamp a pole or something on to the frame specifically to attach an over the head gimble and camera. . It would be a game changer on their next motorcycle documentary.
Very good Winston , interesting variety of things you need for the job to help improvements ,and make it look professional through trying the crap products to better stuff . All the best from Northern Ireland UK....we think your a great guy and appreciate your hard daily work of giving us an interesting incite of living and surviving in a new country ( not new to you ) but to "Us" .I wish you could have lived in another country to be a load happier with your girlfriend and relax more ! . Great stuff man!

Great video. Zhiyun makes awesome products. Glad you like the gimbal and decided to hang on to the RX100 for awhile longer.
i couldnt find the name of the steady cam in description or i'm not looking very closely, thanks :)

Ever since i met your channel I've loved every second of it. I've watched most of your videos and i love to learn more about China. Your video's are really entertaining. Keep doing you! Your style of vlogging is awesome and entertaining.
Thanks mate
Hey Serpentza. I'm also from South Africa and happened to stumble upon your videos. Good stuff
Dan Blumel yes is that the one with the double camera? my mom has that one too and she took some amazon pictures with it
Yes, double camera lens on the back.
I've had half a bottle of rum, and god bless Winston.
This is one video that has been really informative. What a revelation as I was clearly quite ignorant of what is out there for making personal videos. Amazing!
Awesome video, this video is what we are waiting for.
Great video as always!

Hey Winston, I was wondering if you could do a village crawl for your older subscribers like me. It would be nice if you did one before you guys go off to begin shooting conquering northern china. Also keep up the good work.
+Emmanuel Mayanja I'll see what I can do
thanks man. It would really be nice.
Great video. Thank you for the heads up on equipment.
Your videos are always AWESOME! Love those night city shots as well.
prefer 1080p60 rather than 4k
If 4K recorded lower than 60 fps, i agree with you.
2k hits a good middle ground
1080p120
In general speaking that would be a bad choice, because the difference between 4k and 1080p is more significant than 60fps and 30fps
Give them time and eventually their brands reputation will be at the same level as Korea's or maybe even Japan's but that will take awhile.
canuck21 I had a small Fenix flashlight that was bright as hell.
Fenix one-AAA flashlight finally failed. Need to see if their warranty means much... I’ve gotten used to the phone flashlight so it’s been no emergency.
Very pleased so far with Anker battery packs.
canuck21 nicely stated
I have an Anker for my impending trip to china, I feel dumb not buying one sooner. They're incredibly helpful when you're on the go or in the studio. They can charge a MacBook too with no issue!
WHIPPEEE A $4 FLASHLIGHT, LETS GET EXCITED.
but .. butt.. what about xiaomi? i live in NZ and everybody buys xiaomi phones from aliexpress because of how cheap and high quality they are!
The abysmal software support and various design shortcomings bar them from being a Chinese top brand.
the software support i find is the best compared to samsung, huawei, sonyy ETC, and the design is amazing on Redmi note 4!!
ZyFinity Xiaomi max not bad . I dropped my phone many time even inside a pail of water it still works perfectly . few cracks on screen that's it .
Funny you should mention that packaging tape noise, it's like an anthem track for any vacation I and my friends go on. We rate our holidays based on how much packaging tape we use to get things safely back home.
I have a couple of Xiaomi HEPA air filtration systems in my house. They are fantastic. Quiet and powerful. Good price plus they look great.
Watched this video on a ZTE Zmax pro. Which in my opinion has some great build quality. This phone is also highly affordable ($99-$150) with some flagship features that work well. I think ZTE is actually headquarter in Shenzhen.
I got a ZTE Zmax Pro too, sadly I cracked the screen on my by accident, but certainly well put together.
OnePlus should be added as well
I think the whole point of the video (and Winston straight out says it a couple times) is that of course China can make world class products - after all, they make a large percentage of the world's manufactured goods.
Cheers
Great video, I seriously think you have a great opportunity to show case tech on this channel.
This reminds me years ago we used to call "Japanese Cheap Products" and look at the different now. China is going thru the same growing path. China is producing a lot of junks but also high quality products for every level of customers. I am surprised many of their standard products are quite good. This is a huge improvement over a very short period of time.
Sun Shine What are you talking about? China is weak, there is no threat!
Rectus Rectumius what? That stopped around the 60s china still has garbage.
WRONG... and by the way, many American products suck... most Chinese product suck (percentages man!), some Japanese products suck... now "cost=quality" is a cheap argument as well... quality is the perceived satisfaction towards ones needs.
Rectus Rectumius China is weak? Did you forget the Korean War?
techo61 yea they sent 300,000 meat shield to charge then let them starve and run low on ammunition because the Chinese forgot to resupply their troops.
Now the question becomes can you afford your life then?
very true
Sad but true
It‘s not the people, it‘s the companies that make good products with 1000 % margin on them, just to satisfy their shareholders, so that they cold live a luxury life and killing the planet on their way. Most of the world could not afford the so called high end versions.... make capitalism history, another world is possible, take back your lives
Makes good sense, top steady quality is always my priority.
in the west we say you get what you pay for
No OnePlus?
CommonDave OnePlus in China is Oppo
Oneplus is higher spec of OPPO.
CommonDave it's not so popular
Oneplus and oppo is from the same company
OnePLUS is just minority brand in China, we have lots of options here
Love your regular content but always wondered about the equipment you use. I really appreciate this video.
That drone footage at the end was absolutely beautiful.
- 1MORE [headphone company, Shenzhen]: this company is killing it. Absolutely incredible value and sound and build quality for the money, hitting well above their weight. And they even have one of the best IEM unboxing experiences I have ever had, at almost any price range and I am an extensive IEM user. Best deal IMO are their triple driver IEMs;
- ORICO: HK-based computer accessories company...high quality USB hubs, etc...have not let me down yet over the last few years; Not TRULY a China company, but "one country, two systems" yadda yadda yadda....
- TONE CITY / MOOER / JOYO: For musicians out there [guitar pedals mostly], these three Chinese companies are in many ways clones of each other and they are all in turn clone attempts at some of the most recognizable pedal names and sounds in history. Quality in terms of tone varies from pedal type to type, as does consistency of build quality. But in terms of sheer bang for the buck, really hard to argue against these three companies. Worth at least a look and listen IMO;
- LENOVO: Enough said, though I have some residual trust issues with them after the whole spyware/malware thing. Hopefully they have learned their lesson not to fuck around with people;
- XIAOMI, HUAWEI, OPPO, LeECO, ONEPLUS: All 5 of these smartphone brands are legitimate contenders to the Apple/Samsung/LG thrones.
Meantime, there are indeed Chinese companies that know how to do things right - and they should be supported.
cheers!
Zhong Yi Optics a.k.a. Mitakon makes very good lenses.
Joe Satchton great point made.
Cheers.
SHOW LESS.... WTF IS IEM ALSO, "unboxing" wtf that's not an event. it's just opening a cardbord box!! are you from cambodia!!
Japan used to be the place that no one wanted a anything from. 80s cars and trucks were abysmal but they improved enormously. China is starting to go that way too. Now the Russians, they still can't build a vehicle to save their lives. Planes or rockets no problem, just can't do a car.
they have issues with newer planes and rockets too, it went well when they had a ton of legwork from Soviet times, now they are struggling...
China is improving just like those did.
in the 80s japan was The place to get every electronic thing

one plus = oppo
dont forget DJI!
I watch your videos to practice my listening of English, cause your voice is so freaking clear!
Ur videos have gotten so much better dude. I been taking classes to learn french for two months ago. And after watching ur videos for about 3 days man I'm reconsidering my options 😂💪😎

Why is XIaomi not mentioned here my friend?
this is an add my friend...pay and you will appear
The quality is as good as Huawei and Sumsamg but cheaper. Xiaomi promised that they only would profit 5%
yeah bro .. xiaomi so popular in my country indonesia
abc cba that was for marketing, they dont make more than 5% anyway they dont care about phones they do internet services to make their money
Very informative ! That steady cam /Gimble is awesome, i never knew there were such devices, i gotta get one. Thanks bro.
4:44 I was like "That's it...They got him.. He's gonna break his neck.."
Very good idea to wear a suit all the time while on camera, it looks really good.
Very useful video. Thanks!
Who else can't wait for conquering northern China?!!
Edwin Finch 🙋♂️ Meeeee!!!!
I'm excited for sure!
Edwin Finch hope they will be able to post a few teasers when possible during the trip ... It might be hard to do with out a sat datalink in places I bet though 😐
Me, me, me!
laowhy86 there is the other part of the ADVChina brain trust 😜
I know you are chomping at the bit to get started on your epic adventure with your business partner Serpentza 💪
With regard to your wife, you really did hit the jackpot buddy!
+flow thanks mate!
serpentza
I got 1,000 USD A month and yes, it was legit but it was for Aston English and not in a regular school.
Opinions on Xiaomi?
I have a router from them. setting it up is pain in the ass due it's all in chinese. But got it working and works well.
I have the same thing. It works great. Actually my entire house is basically a Xiaomi smart-home. Everything is interconnected beautifully. I really admire them as a company for doing stuff like that.
Dump that POS, and get a Huawei.
I love what u are doing with your channel.. keep up the good work!! Chiayou!!
Acer is from taiwan..eventhough taiwan is a part of china but taiwan people wanted to be call taiwanes not chinese
acer is taiwan, thats a big difference
please start using a gimbal and get a big RODE mic.
how are Oneplus products in China? I love mine
is that a band about a cell phone?
Lots of fans, but Xiaomi get more.
What are you looking at? haha, no.
They're doing OK in China, but not as good as in the oversea market. Oneplus has a reasonable quality control, they are essentially a child company of OPPO and so they probably share the parts purchasing team, the factories and the quality control team.
OPPO‘s blue-ray DVD is also more popular oversea. And 刘作虎 the CEO of One-plus was the leader of OPPO's blue-ray team.
very good information video man great video
That Device for your Cameras is Awesome!!!
I'm from Shenzhen and I love it
pronounced shits - hen?
I am from
Your school
I love u
would you recommend getting a phone in China then using it in the us?
No.
Bevore I watch the video : xiaomi
You produce content that keeps me content. Keep up the great work.
I would definitely travel China since having your perspective.
+John Russell fantastic, glad to hear
Great video ,need more videos on great brands ..
South Africa for the win... although u sound proper british now.
THAT SUCKS....BRITS SUCK
@@xsocialee2656 You mean english people suck. Scottish people are cool.
@The Owlets Zambia is .zm. South Africa is .za (stands for Zuid-Afrika).
Cool, expensive selfie stick!
I use zhiyun... Nice product with very competitive price.
The gimbal/gimble is actually a good. I'm impressed with the video shot with it.
Fiio make great quality stuff too
ASUS!!! Although Taiwanese, ASUS KICKS ARSE!!!
So do you get weirder looks vlogging as you walk down streets now that you have the gimbal?
I like your videos, its not like sell out for viewers or companies. You allways talking harsh true or most of time, correct if im wrong. So its pleasure and interesting to watch. Stay on your path and best of luck form Eastern Europe! :)
Almost 18 minutes and all I got was a drone (DJI), a mobile phone manufacturer (Huawei), and a gimbal. Not a lot of content here, but it's always interesting to watch the views when you walk around.
Xiamo and Vivo?
you guys really need to use the gimbles on your motorcycle videos. . instead of just mounting a go pro on your helmets.
Yes, their wives and sometimes Wing can ride with them on the seats on front of them. For enhanced entertainment value they can wear cute/sexy outfits and pan to themselves once in a while. All while holding that wonderful little gimble. Great shots and enhanced content, Win-Win! :D
Zhiyun and Feiyutech both make helmet-mountable gimbals. I hope they try those out on their Northern China trip.
:) but seriously. they build motorcycles. . I'm sure they could weld or clamp a pole or something on to the frame specifically to attach an over the head gimble and camera. . It would be a game changer on their next motorcycle documentary.
The RX100 is super overrated. It is super expensive as well.
Yes, didn’t like it, got rid of it
You never disappoint men, great video. New sub.
I love your channel. You keep up the great Video Subject.
lol... you looks like Jason Statham!!
Knockoffs knockoffs knockoffs
never ever buy a chinese moped I learned that by experience
Serpentza, the quality of your content is par excellence. It is so, so, good. kudos... I hope to find my own niche one day.
Again you present information in your video, stuff I did not know before. That's pretty unusual!
Forgot about apple :P
Chinese produced products but not a Chinese company.
That was a funky vid that transformed into a gear review but I liked it
The gimble is amazing! I don't do camera work myself, but the shots you can make with it looks so good. Well, the steadiness and smoothness of it.
Fascinating video cheers.
Your videos are Very Good, and super Informative.
