Bartimaeus 666 just because you were raised on formula doesn’t mean you have to get defensive. Its common sense. Breast milk Formulated in a lab derived from cows is not as good for a child as natural breast milk. It boosts a child immunity’s, it lowers risk of diabetes and obesity. Children raised on formula have a higher chance of developing allergy’s and so on. And yes, study’s show that children raised on formula on average have lower IQs on a rage of 2-3 points. Whether you choose to believe that study or not majority of water used to mix baby formula contains fluoride a neurotoxin known to negatively effect the cognitive development on average lowering the IQ by 7 points. You can even find ‘fluoridated Infant water’ almost anywhere in the world

    • @gilgabro420

@@gratefulbear2183 I wasn't raised on formular for that manner, I got breastfed. I'm just talking about good scientific practic. It is mandatory in all scientific fields to show that the correlation is a causation. A twin study where one gets formular and the other one gets breastfed could prove or disprove it. Anyway we wouldn't even know if it was the contents of the milk, or the intimacy with the child that coused the IQ difference. Even if such a twin study where conducted. It would probably need a number of triplet studys where there one child gets formular, one gets milk from the mother in the bottle and the last gets breastfed to prove or disprove this hypothesis. But this study design might actually course ethical concerns.
I'm not saying, that it nesacaraly isn't true that the contants of the milk are causal, I'm just saying that what you said itself isn't enough to draw the conclusion that the one option is better than the other. Recommending something like that on the basis of such a smal correlation isn't enough. And what I just said isn't nitpicking eighter, it could bring serious lifestyle issues if you were to breastfeed exclusively...
I'm trying to get some scientific standards into the discussion because I don't think that people have high enough standards when it comes to that. People make lifestyle choices on such stats, but that might not be necessary.

American here, we have watched our economy go to shit because our richest 1 percent bought the Government and sold off our manufacturing base. This made these bastards even richer, so they bought all the TV News and Newspapers to keep most Americans not knowing their Government was bought by Corporations. Trumps election was a combination of telling the Democrats that we do not want Hillary because you cheated Bernie Sanders and the uneducated Christian base, Rich People, and the People that wanted to through a crazy man ( TRUMP ) grenade at Washington DC.
Expect people running for President in 2020 promising Zero trade. Americans are getting very angry that our Government will not protect jobs or help the citizens, 2 million people are in jail because the factories are gone. That is why Trumps racism works, the uneducated believe him when he says foreigners are coming here to take your jobs , when the truth is that some rich bastards imports destroyed the market. In America, divorce is up, suicide is up, our standard of living is lower than South Korea, our Health Care system sells medicine cheaper to the world than its own citizens.
We have more Propaganda on television than they accuse other Countries of doing, we have had some protest but the Police crack their heads and it disperses. The wealthiest 1 percent have taken everything from the citizens that are armed with the most guns in the world. America is a powder keg, if there is a National Emergency where food or gas can't be purchased for 6 weeks, violence will ensue. Our hope is that the educated Millenials now outnumber the Christians that are uneducated, 2020 should be the first election where the Youth of America outnumber uneducated retired people that live their lives with jobs and growth and do not care about anyone else.

During the milk powder crisis many stores even here in Germany have limited the amount of milk powder units one person is allowed to buy. The shelfs in Germany were cleared off milk powder and our own citizens had a bad time to feed their children with milk powder. The prices here went through the roof and the manufacturers here had difficulties to keep up the production. That happens when a county of billions of people buys from markets that is accustomed to only serve several dozens of million people.

In my neighborhood quite a few mothers are breastfeeding. Of course, for working mothers its not an easy option, and in big Chinese cities unless the husband is pulling in a decent salary (say 8k+ a month) then the mother pretty much needs to work.

They are horrified when there is no self serve, even after allowing them to see, taste and decide. They seem to have this incredible fear that if one cherry has a blemish of any kind, their lives will collapse.
They will bring back 2 cherries and swap them, hours later!! I have never had any other race do this, ever! I can have many people waiting to be served, so picking your own for 30 mins is just silly. After giving permission for the buyer to taste, I've watched them 1 by one take a cherry, the whole frigging family thinks they have a right to munch down as many as they please. A lot forget i have peripheral vision. Culture Smulture. It's right and wrong, there's no respect, it's just a bunch silly people with silly ideas and passing there rubbish to their kids.

Most people only smuggle a little bit for their family and close friend, which I guess it's in the grey area of law, and I don't (and can't) mind since it's literally everyone. And a small amount of people do this for pure profit, and many work for full time organized professionals (usually smuggling luxury bags and shits I don't understand). These professional are sometimes kinda like family business, run by a few relatives who have local property and are permanent local residence, and students working on buying stuff or sorting or running taobao stores and shit.
Now I love Winston cover this unique phenomena and actually hitting the jack spot analyzing it. But in the mean time I dread at the extra reason local people can hate international students for. It's as if they are not already in tons of trouble, and caught on between two societies, neither recognizing them as their own.

You’re not kidding about the difference between Hong Kong and mainland China. I lived in Hong Kong from 93 until late 95 and the first time I went over the border to mainland I was absolutely amazed. First most people had a basic command of English in HK but on the mainland only scammers and hustlers spoke English. Second was the feeling that you were being ‘watched’ everywhere you went. I also found the quality of people, and this is general and of my own experience, to be better in HK. They were better travelled and definitely benefited from the UK in a lot of ways like that. Idk I enjoyed Shanghai but things weren’t like they are now on the mainland as far as being as technologically advanced and so forth. Anyway great vid Winston

Here in Australia, the Chinese come in droves into supermarkets and take all of the milk powder stock, there are videos showing them crawl over each other in order to get the milk powder tins, which leaves the local Australian mums without any milk powder for their kids, it’s a serious problem.
Supermarkets have introduced limitations to try and stop the Chinese from exhausting the milk powder stock by limiting it to only 2 tins per person, but the Chinese have way of getting around this, usually by getting their family and friends to come in at different times to get tins and have also left the supermarket after buying two tins, changed their clothes and come right back in and buy another lot. Often they become very rude and defensive when caught out buying more than what they should.

Regularly in the news it shows Chinese people lined up buying all the milk powder and leaving none to the locals, so they are introducing buying limits, but then they bring friends along. It is giving the Chinese a bad name. All of the Chinese I have come across buy products from the chemists for friends and family back in China.

I HAVE TO SAY ONE THING, in China people are able to steal credit card numbers from Europe/America and then they use it to buy gift cards from major retailers. When I worked in Target one lady got arrested because she was buying a ton of stuff with gift card after gift card. One week later she came in and got arrested. I do not know if it was the fbi or local police but I asked one of the officers and they told me they had been tailing her for a while and that is a crime they do. Crazy stuff I never thought about it, I thought Chinese people just bought gift cards to make it easier to buy stuff when they are in America. The lady was a relative of some Chinese dude that owned a Chinese restaurant or something like that. I am sure he must have been on the crime as well but if he wasn't he must hate his family in china for screwing him over
