Very nice Matt. I especially like the brass herb stripper and would definitely like one of those for my kitchen!

You know... I buy fresh thyme whenever I cook a roast, and I have never seen the herb stripper before!! I've always done that by hand!

I like the mallet, maybe cutting the faces at 8 degrees would have made it look a little more mallety 😀

That arbour gauge… would definitely end up buried in my thigh if I tried to use it!

The herb stripper is cool ! I've grown rosemary and thyme but no one uses them 😒. Still, I like the smell 😊
Trivets are elegant and so simple.

Nice simple mallet. Always look better ouled. The wedge would be better Right angle to grain of the mallet head.

Thank you for the inspiration. I maybe wouldn't have glued the wedge...no chance of tapping it further in if the wood shrinks a little.

Great video once again, however where do you source your oak from?

Matt cracking ideas 💡 but I think you should be engraving your walnut hammer 🔨 with the phrase " Walnut Whacker!".

That's is sapele timber what you are using for a mallet

At a guess the wood in question might be either Sapele or Mahogany . Thks

Herb stripper - excellent! and a new one on me. I was just cursing the rosemary last week! Super simple too, there is a good chance I'll actually make some! What size holes, Matt?
