I have been using rice water for over a year. I have seen my hair growth tripled. I prefer to ferment my rice water (I use sushi rice) with crushed garlic cloves instead of thee grapefruit or orange peel. I add peppermint and tea tree like Angiebee, but I add rosemary, too. Using this tweaked version of Angie's suggested routine drastically reduces my shedding. Thanks Angiebee!! Keep up the good work!
@@stephanieandoh8291 I have been consistently using rice water rinses for over a year now. Within that time frame, I've constantly done rice water rinses about once to twice a month. I was doing the rinses once a week at a point in time, but after the 3rd or 4th week, my hair was getting a bit of a protein overload feeling so I cut it down to once every other week and then to once a month as of recent. 1-2x a month is perfect for my hair type (type 2, fine to medium texture, medium porosity, medium density) I've actually seen a slow down in growth over these past weeks. I've heard people say that is normal when going from summer months to fall/winter months. I am currently fermenting rice water the same way Angiebee did in her 'accidentally fermented rice water for 6 months' video. I've also started using onion juice, too. Unsure which stinky vegetable I prefer to smell like more: onion or garlic... 😆
I also use a spray every other day of Rosemary dry or fresh, fenugreek, and green tea mixed together I just shake the spray bottle and spray all over from scalp to the ends of my hair
I use tea in my rice water, and onion Green, black, oolong, yarba mate teas. Rosemary, tea tree, peppermint, and Lavender essential oils. They help my hair.
I love coconut oil, it makes my hair smooth from root to tip A little goes a long way. With the coconut oil, I mix it with olive oil and shea butter to grease my scalp
I just want to say I love how you have explained the rice water hair growth tutorial, and the do' and don'ts! However are you going to do other hair growth elixirs with cloves or other herbs?
I think I've been using rice water wrongly so I assumed that it doesn't work cause it used to make my hair brittle so I stopped but you have motivated me to try it out again I used to prepoo but I used to sleep with rice water in my hair then wash it out the next day and my hair would be very dry and brittle but I will try the way you said and see if it works
Have you tried fenugeek water? Rice water makes my hair extremely dry and brittle had to stop using it. Its funny my hair loves fenugeek but not rice water.
@@ANGIEBEE Oh ok I been leaving the rice water in when i tried it . Maybe thats why I was left with dry brittle hair. You the first person I hear say dont leave it in. Anyways , Good video and your hair looks good getting longer.
Hi Angiebee. I prepoo over night using aloe Vera gel. Can I ask then, will the rice water still benefit my hair even tho there is AV in my hair from my night-time prepoo. xx
Help me understand why you would use it BEFORE you shampoo &conditioner aka basically oily dirty hair. Why? I'm sure you've heard that water & oil DON'T MIX. so we want the hair & scalp that's covered in dirt & oil & probably product build up to somehow absorb all the vitamins/ nutrients and NOT repell the rice water your putting on??? I think your doing it backwards maybe? Is it not better to do it BEFORE conditioner??? That way if it did make your hair dry you can moisturize it with conditioner.
Hey love! You can check out my full rice water playlist here - ua-cam.com/video/6Y-91j0hRNg/v-deo.html
What's your hair porosity

Do you know how long I can keep rice water
I answer this in detail in the video 💖
You just don't keep it for 5 days, I use it no later than 2 days after ferminating it
Wow i am first for the first time 🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸
Yes you are!💖

if hair covered with product did not absorb water, how does it get wet in the shower next time? Some water must make it through.
Can i use the rice water everyday on my hair amd leave it in😂😂😂😂😑😑😑NO.. 🤣🤣🤣

Angie ❤❤❤
