I was just wondering if you bottle up and sale any of these products online at all? It’s just that I never have enough time for myself to be able to get these ingredients and but it together step by step for myself
As an Indian girl, I can say that most lndian girls or women keep their hair braided to avoid tangling, hair damages and also reduce stress at the scalp. Love your content ❤️☺️. Every thing you mentioned is so true 😃.
Same, I’m Indian and my mom oiled and braided my hair every single day until I was a teenager. We used olive oil for hair from a brand called African Pride, I believe. I liked it better than coconut oil, bc I just don’t like the smell of coconut oil on my scalp. Olive oil smelled less strongly imo. So she would apply oil all the way down the hair shaft. Then she would comb out tangles and braid it into two tight braids. I no longer do this, but it did help my hair grow very long, down to my butt.
@@MAYBEE90 would you sleep with it or would you wash your hair every single day I’ve always heard it’s not recommended keeping oil on you scalp for too long
Using coconut oil with a concoction of fresh neem leaves, amla, hibiscus flowers, Centella Asiatica leaves, Bhringaraj leaves, and fenugreek seeds is what works best for me.
@solarLola Yeah it is, you could also make an oil that I've been using for a year or two that really helped. I boil 2 parts of coconut oil with one part castor oil, throw in about 20-30 curry leaves, same amount of neem leaves until the leaves get brown. After its cooled off, I cut and add the gel of about 3-5 vitamin e capsules, and then mix it up. That's all there is! If you want you can add amla powder, I decided not to because I don't want my hair to darken. If you have dandruff, you could also add fresh aloe vera gel at the end.
I myself as an Indian- I agree with some of the commenters. I have really curly hair and I learned about my hair care and routine from an African American lady. I remember crying because I was so happy that someone knew how to help me. It was life changing for me! Understanding my hair and using the right products helped me to be more confident about my hair. It is a misnomer that most Indians have straight hair. Sadly, girls with curly are constantly over processing their hair to keep their hair straight. But I am noticing that more Indian girls with curly hair are accepting their natural hair.. I’m SO glad that their products available NOW for us. We can learn so much from each other. Wishing you all a positive hair journey. 🙏🙏👍🏾
Lovely video, as an Indian woman, I can totally vouch that we have this oiling routine built in haha. I try to oil my hair once or twice a week atleast, also thank you that you told the correct way to use the oil, I have seen people use a few drops of oil for 15 mins and they go saying 'oil massage' :p we ( mostly ) use a lot of oil and keep it overnight like you said, I have a spare towel just for this purpose, I keep it over my pillow, braid my hair and go to sleep so the oil doesn't ruin the pillowcase or bedsheet. I use extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil and mix it with few drops of Jamican black castor oil and it works wonders! I have tailbone length hair and trying to get it down past my bum. Sorry for such a long comment, I am obsessed with hair, it's my crown and I treat it like the most luxurious fabric I have.
It’s not really worth explaining. But if you decide too KK, I will chime in. Here’s what I will say to you KK, the whole world has been deceived … the history that we were given is not ours. But when we learn our own culture, heritage, traditions, them some people will see and understand the hijacking of other people’s history. Some of us know that they like washing things away. And making it look totally different.
take coconut oil and some hibiscus leaves and boil them together and store it.. And than use that oil for massaging. Will make a great impact on quality of the hairs. I am an Indian and we are doing these since ages💫
As an Indian, coconut oil and castor oil for hair are staples. Olive oil is used for the whole body for massages especially for babies for the pre bath routine. One reason the oil in hair 24/7 works is because we wash the hair often so whatever dirt gets trapped is washed away. Most Indians take a full body and hair bath everyday or at least every alternate day for those who have problems with taking one everyday. My school would even keep bottles of coconut oil to pour on student's hair if they didn't oil their hair (which some didn't because they wanted to be fashionable with silky hair). So, Castor oil, coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, fenugreek seeds are good for hair. Olive oil, honey, milk, turmeric, Multani mitti (fuller's earth), are used for face and skin brightening and moisturising. And the most popular hairstyle is a simple U cut because it is easier for us when all the hair is of similar length.
I can't believe you even mentioned the Indian ayurvedic nail trick! When i was younger, my mom would always tell me to do this. I would do it out of habit, but i didn't ever, until now, know that it actually had ANYTHING to do with hair and our nerves. It's crazy how a non-indian just taught an Indian something about Indian traditions. Thank you for this! ❤️
Aww, I love seeing the cultural exchange happening in the comments 🥺 our cultures are all so beautiful and it’s nice to see us learning from and appreciating each other
Really really lovely comment I have mixed race sons both have different hair but oiling their scalps was my Sunday night ritual thank you 🙏🏼 for bringing that beautiful memory back ❤
Try to dilute your shampoo with the help of water before apply it on your hair. It will protect your hair from the harsh chemicals present in the shampoo... ❤️👩🏻💼... Lots of love from India 🇮🇳
Most Indians eat a mostly vegetarian diet, even meat eaters. Lilly Singh who u showed in your video is vegetarian. My parents are meat eaters and they'll have at east 1 or 2 vegetarian meals a day and some days will just eat vegetarian with no meat, at least a few times a week. Most of the protein in a vegetarian Indian diet comes from vegetables like green beans, chickpeas, lentils, etc
My bf is indian and a big carnivore, when we met his hair was waist length. edit: my boyfriend smokes more, drinks more, and eats more sugar then me. I eat More veggies them him. Thinking it's a vegeterean diet is wishful thinking.
@@Mayaspiral I don’t know what you are (I don’t mean for that to sound rude) I can’t tell if you’re black from your pfp but if you are we have the slowest hair growth rate in the world on average. I just think that’s cool how people can do the exact same thing and it’s still different
@@Blue_Fire_1013 it's true different ethnic backgrounds have hair that grows at different rates. There are no studies that say specifically a vegetarian diet promotes hair growth. But maintaining health in general is key... To answer your question I mixed black/white.
List of Ingredients we Indians use: 1)Indian Gooseberry/Amla (to be consumed and can also be used by boiling it in hair oil) 2)Hair Mask made of Hibiscus leaves and flowers 3)Onion juice/ginger juice/garlic juice 4)Hair serum made of Fenugreek combined with Black seeds or cloves 5)Soapnut or Shikakai to shampoo hair 6)Frequent hot oil massage with a combination of Coconut oil,Castor oil, Mustard oil with Curry leaves sundried into the oils. 7)Curd applied onto scalp to maintain pH of scalp. 8) Nasya Karma in case hairfall persists inspite of many treatments. Permutations and Combinations of above mentioned ingredients is what our grandmothers teach us depending upon problems we face.
As an Indian I use castor oil and coconut oil mix, I apply it onto my hair and leave it on, wash my hair the next day... It makes your hair smooth and silky Note :1. Don't heat the oil mix 2. Don't use excess oil 3. Use 100% pure castor oil 4. Braid your hair before sleeping
@@justagirl8757for me I have to use high heat under a hooded dryer. I put a cap on my head! I can’t believe the results. With one use it made my hair so smooth
As a Indian I assure you , we apply oil to our hair and scalp daily , and leave it on till next hair wash ,it can be 3 days to a week . But the amount we use daily is about 1 tsp for waist length hair . The amount we use for hot oil massage is 1/2 cup oil for waist length hair . We do have oiled hair on daily basis ,unless we are at a party or any function.
As an Indian girl, I agree to every point that you mentioned. Everything is true and it's lovely how you appreciated us♥️ Indians do use fresh aloe vera and I personally get soft shiny hair with aloe vera. Flaxseed gel is the key. It will provide great results and now I am happy as I have seen many videos where non-Indians are talking about this gel.
Ohhh yes oil massaging the scalp is a dedicated( mostly Saturday) pre hair wash routine in most of Indian households. We just catch one of our family member whether it's grandma/ mom/dad/sister/brother/bf doesn't matter who & just ask them to give a nice 10-15 min scalp massage Then on Sunday u wash it off There u have nice healthy thick black hair.. it's kind of ritual but also a family bonding thing for me
I am a black Africa girl who live in India since I move to India so I decided to cut off my relax hair and start natural hair journey with India hair oils and many Ayurvedic hair product and it very cheap and you can easily it in any local shop here in India and ever since.... my hair grow like wild fire 🔥💯🥰
Now let me tell you all. I have been making my own oil at home for over 3 yrs now. I use coconut oil from the market and then make a concoction with neem leaves, curry leaves, henna leaves, hibiscus leaves and flowers, onion, meethi, bhringaraj, zeera, amla and use baby shampoo. The colour of the oil turns dark yellowish green, has minimal smell and works out for me. I apply this for two days every week. 😊
As per MY observations Indains also "keep products to the minimum" 1) Majority of people don't use hair serums, conditioners (as hair oils do the work) 2) No hair dye... It's actually not usual to spot someone here with dyed hair (EXCEPT FOR METROPOLITAN AREA AS I HAVE VITNESSED) 3) No heat, no straightening or curling or blow drying. 4) NO hair spray or extentions etc while styling
I am indian I used to change my hair oil every 2 months bcoz it is good for hairs growth....u should use fenugreek seeds grind in mixture and make powder of it and boil in some coconut oil and use till 2 months u definitely see results 😊 and also change hair oils after two months for better hair growth
I am indian. What is said is true, I used to have thick hair as she shown in picture's but due to increasing pollution even Indians are facing hair issues. Even though the volume of hair I have now after so much of hairfall is same as the volume of hair of many foreigners. We just have to moisturize the roots of hair as we moisturize our skin.
The reason is shampoos and hair conditioner are causing hairfall, the harmful ingredients are damaging the roots, in some case's are causing boldness, star to use natural ingredients you'll see big difference
True indian here grew my hair toy tail bone ..just yesterday I chopped 4 inches so I'm.growing again ...from 34 inches now 30...yes I do heavy oiling before shampooing ..can never wash my hair without oils
Beautifully explained! I just wanna add one thing.. Please don't rub your thumbs while doing Balayam as it can stimulate your facial hair. Lots of love from India!
Hey i am from India . to point out i hv long hair . the secret behind my long hair is oiling in weekdays nd braiding until ends would promote hair growth. using mustard oil is also beneficial
I was born with 10-15 hair on my head. My mom was disappointed. When I was 1 yr old she started shaving my head and applying hibiscus flowers & leaves . She used to shave my head every month and apply the paste. It went on regularly untill I was 2 yr old, and then the ritual went down from every month to every 4 mnth, until I was 5 yr old. And then there was no looking back. I was blessed with the best looking hair in my locality. My hair was my pride and I carried them like a crown until i was 24 yr old and moved out of home. And then I underestimated my mom's hard wrk and started using hair colours styling gel and every shit . 12yrs passed and now I hve lost 70% of my hair😭. I thoroughly regret my life. What have I done.
If this is my whole life, my mother shaving my head to make it grow thick , then at 14/15 I thought shampooing my puffy hair is how I treat so I did damaged and I got scalp acne at college I shaved it off and bcs of pollution and etc I loose so my hair and hairfall plus I have wavy but bit more curly 3A hair but their texture is thick like plastic and it's frizzy idk how to take care of it
You can also up the plant based diet. We also need to balance protein with fruits and veggies. Indians eat a lot more vegetables and are not as protein obsessed as Americans.
Vegetables also contain proteins. The reason americans are obsessed with protein is because most of their food is refined and filled with carbs, sugar and fat so they have to think harder and deliberately add more protein to their diets to have healthy amount. Most modern societies face the same issue even here in africa.
Hey, there are so many recipes for hair growth volume etc, from our ancestors.. lemme share one of them here which is my grandmother's secret...to some coconut oil, add few leaves of curry, hibiscus, neem, indigo, henna and hibiscus flowers too and finely chopped onions, Fenugreek seeds. Boil it for sometime and finally add a little bit of castor oil according to coconut oil's quantity. This will help to keep the hair strong and firm without breakages soft and nourished too. What I felt is my hair fall has got reduced.
I think what is very beautiful here is that everyone, Indian women and black women, both credit the other one for the knowledge. This is what distinguishes appreciation from appropriation. No knowledge should be kept from other cultures, it’s much nicer to share it. But it’s very important to credit the culture you learned from and also listen to people belonging to that culture. It’s really nice to witness the mutual respect and cultural exchange happening in the comments.
Can't believe you spoke about balayam yoga. ❤️ I'm an Indian, my hair is very thin, prone to hairfall very low volume (it's hereditary) so i try to maintain my hair so that it gets volume and the hair loss is bare minimum. I use seperate oils for summer and winter. In summers I infuse extra virgin coconut oil with curry leaves and black sesame seeds and in winter i use a prepared bhringraj oil from a specific brand, and use a herbal shampoo free from SLES, parabens and artificial colors. (I could promote the brand if you want) and this yoga. ❤️ It helps me keep hairloss at bare minimum and my hair texture has improved to a great extent. Love the way you mentioned all of it.
Of course genetics play a role but we can't change our genetics so i don't focus on that or mention it with hair growth tips because we can't do anything about it 💖
Yeah genes can play the role... But normally our mom ..grandmom .. aunts all has long hair ..long hair is common. We try to keep long hairs... whichever long is possible in today's busy schedule. But Massage schedule is common in us.
True genes play the major role in hair texture and density but if you're not doing anything that contributes to the health of your hair it won't look as good as it's meant to be. That's my case. I have lots of hair but I'm constantly surrounded by stressors at this moment that it makes it difficult for my hair to grow but I'm trying my best now to restore it
As an Indian woman, my hair and scalp routine is very simple. Less is more in my case. Oiling the scalp with olive oil, 3 times a week. Then putting lemon juice from fresh lemon on scalp, one hour before the wash. Hair wash with shampoo and conditioner in one bottle combo, which helps in keeping the moisture locked in the scalp. Also, never using hot water for the wash. Always, cold water in summers and lukewarm water in winters. Trimming of hair in every 3 to 6 months to keep the hair looking fresh. Lastly, my hair is 99% in a bun or a braid. There are certain days or on occasions where I let my hair down 😜
@@Sasha-lg gets rid of dandruff. Where I live, we get hard water, which dries my scalp. So to get rid of dandruff, I use lemon juice. But I haven't used it in few months.
Besides this, want to add some more tips your hair is a result of whole diet. Eating fruits, veg, nuts that contain antioxidants, physical exercise, having sunlight everyday at least for 30min for vit-D, keeping yourself from negativity and mental peace overall help to get beautiful hair.
As a Indian...we dont use shampoo we use soapnuts nd shikaki and hibiscus flowers and leaves boil them use those water to rinse the scalp don't forget to oil ur hair before washing ur hair do it twice a week u will definitely see a difference....i have been using that one since my childhood but in my teens i stop it due to lack of time my hair become so thin now..... thanks to covid due to this i got time at home so i am following the same from last 4months my hair is grow long and strong......say no to shampoo first
i got your video in my recs and It warms my heart that you did proper research and explained everything so well without exaggerating it like some kind of magic trick. it makes me laugh how ignorant some people, who make videos on age old practices, can be. i also watch videos on how black people take care of their hair and skin and learn alot. you are awesome! always stay healthy ❤️❤️
Very good and accurate tips 👍 , middle eastern ladies use the same methods to take care of their hair ❤ it's like a traditional hair care routine for both Indians and middle easterns ❤
I love amla gold. I try to once a week make a mixture of hibiscus oil, neem oil, crisan oil, amla oil, black seed oil, and coconut oil. I let it sit for a few hours, sometimes over night then wash it out. My hair feels so good afterwards.
As someone with nearly tailbone length hair, once my hair started getting long enough to pull to the front I cut it myself using the beard method. This is a great way to only cut a little (or a more if you want) and keep the ends really blunt and thick. I do this often whenever I feel like it, and since I don’t cut a lot it maintains length 💕
Actually traditional oils never contain mineral oil or LLP (Light Liquid Paraffin), instead people prefer natural oils like Sesame oil, Soybean oil, Coconut oil, Mustard oil, Castor as a carrier oil. Also unlike western culture, Indians focus on root rather than length. In youtube they say about hair sprays, conditioners, dry shampoo etc etc. For regrowth I can say some tips which worked for me. 1. Apply onion juice on scalp. 2. Make a herbal oil with spices/herbs like Fenugreek seeds, Nigella seeds, Indian Gooseberry/Amla/Amlaki, Bhringraj (in ancient scripts it has a huge value, so nowadays most of the so called herbal products will have this Bhringraj), Hibiscus flowers and leaves, curry leaves, Brahmi (bacopa monnieri) leaves, Jatamansi etc etc along with rosemary oil, thyme oil. While making this oil base oil should not be mineral oil or LLP. People prefer cold pressed oils. Keep it overnight or 4-5 hours (minimum one hr) and then shampoo it. 3-4 days/week will do it. 3. Henna weekly once or monthly twice.
@@alexandrab5904 it's even used for conditioning and scalp disorder. But it should be the real henna not adulterated one which has ashes of some other leaves.
I am from india. But I don't know my hair never like oiling. When I oil my hair it becomes prone to hair fall. So I only do rice water wash. And my hair love it a lot.
I am third generation chinese living in Europe and I just want to say, that I am so grateful that there is a place for intercultural interaction 🙏 ☺️ I am going to try all of these tips, especially the ayurveda massage
We indian don't need any hundreds and thousands of serum or cosmetics related to hairs we only need grandmother's coconut oil hand massage that's our secret 🤗☺️
Amla or Indian gooseberry is the king of Indian hair care, eat it in Jam or Candy form and apply it’s soaked overnight water in hair for atleast half hour daily and see the magic. The only downside is that it has a lot of tannins and turn the bathroom floor and robe black wherever it drips. But still totally worth the mess.
My coconut oil mixed with 31 natural ingredients.. oil looks black nd smells good, per week two times will do hair wash with hair pack.. i love my hair 😍
Just a curious Indian who watched to see what you might say . Yes you are absolutely right. Oiling is religiously done..so many people also just add hibiscus flowers , leaves or onion or Neem leaves to the oil and boil it and make their own hair oil depending upon their hair issue. Maybe you can find more info in detail.
I'm so amazed you spoke the ingredients name so wel!!! Also see if you could find Reetha(Indian Soapberry) it's excellent cleanser I don't use any product for clarify except for Reetha it's natural and the perfect clarifying product I could grab on!!
I m suffering from hairfall😪 and I m only 18 I had thick hair now it's half the amount. Pray for me so that I don't become bald Oh and I am an Indian 🙂
Accurate. When I was living in India I used to wash my hair with reetha and shikakai at least once a month. I am talking about whole reetha and shikakai and not powder. I soaked them overnight and washed my hair in the morning. You have to boil them and separate the pulp. And it’s ready to be used after it cools down. I also heated fenugreek seeds with coconut oil for oil massage. I have pretty long hair but they aren’t as thick as they used to be 15 yrs ago. Thank you for such an informative video 😄
I have made a hair serum in case anyone's interested: take any light coconut/herbal oil & add water in 1:1 ratio & add a few drops of lemon juice. Mix & Put it in a spray bottle. You can add some nice smelling essential oils good for hair like lavender or rosemary or Clary sage if your oil has no fragrance. Any time I need a little setting spray I use it, both on dry & moist hair. Only thing is you have to shake the bottle vigorously before use.
Ate slightly bloody red meat for a while because of where i was working and my hair grew so fast and healthy. Although too much red meat is not good for your health but it definitely helps hair.
I only used Amla and shikakai and apply green mehndi .....That's it.....And my hair at this age is awesome...I am also indian...And I eat pulses daily for protein and I am pure vegetarian.....Thnx for your video... Love from India...I want to say more, but my English is poor so....
In any of the "warm" herbs and spices, will stimulate the scalp. Like rosemary, tea tree, ginger, ginseng. They stimulate the scalp alongside the massage and oil
I'm half Indian, 1/4 Jamaican, 1/4 English. My hair is wavy after i wash it, then i brush it and it's like kinky and mixed hair, then i put it in a bun over-night and it's thick and straight. Sleeping with my hair in a bun is causing breakage though, but because my hair is quite long, only mid back, i just don't know how else to wear my hair for sleep. I looked into hair-wrapping from an African American youtube channel, but i haven't tried it yet. I spent so many years straightening my hair because it's not sleek until about day 4 after washing, and i've been embracing my natural hair. My sister has 4c hair, so i learnt how to care for African hair when i was a kid, using the Indian techniques as well.
Try coconut oil which is widely available. In case you don’t wish to leave the oil for long, post oiling wrap a warm towel around your head. Scalp will absorb the required oil content post which you can shampoo and rinse.
I’m not Indian. Indians do have beautiful hair but I am Irish and my hair is very thick and down to my thigh because I don’t put unnecessary heat on it I oil & braid it instead. It did take around 5 years though for it to grow this length.
I have really long hairs... during my school days...my dad used to oil my hair every alternative day with coconut oil and braid them, because In my school it used to be compulsory for girls to have oiled and braided hair...and my parents never let me use shampoos n conditioner .. instead I used to use shikakai soap to rinse off my hair.. Apart from that... South Indian girls are known for their long n thick hairs..as a South Indian I can tell u it's more of the diet we follow..we use coconut in almost everything we cook...so the diet too plays an important role....I would recommend oiling ur hair twice a week and keeping it overnight and wash off in the morning...hope that's helpful.. 🥰👍
i am half white and half srilankan and i have high density, thick course 3b/3c hair and i currently have it in an afro/ sunflower cut and i recently did a big chop and...... shrinkage. so i want to grow it out much quicker because it is shorter than i anticipated. i know these secrets but never really thought much of it nor did i think about implementing these, so thank you for reminding me and i really enjoyed your video!

While oiling massage is necessary cz it may increase circulation nd most important u feel relax after oiling. ..that's why we prefer this at bed time.. India.... ❤️
To be honest just like us Indians , Africa also uses a bunch of Protein starch and spices and is also damn colourful and healthy. Sooo yaaa!! The west learns from us. Also , Africans have even more variety in braided hairstyles than Indians. Loved your video 😻 you have done a really good research!!
I infuse my cold pressed coconut oil and olive oil with rosemary and use it It has reduced dandruff and reduced my hair fall. I apply little bit once in 2 days to roots and I apply lot of it before taking head bath. I use very less heat. Even though I'm a South Indian coconut oil doesn't suit me and those herbs make my scalp itching and cause hair fall. Do what suits u and figure out what works for you ❤️❤️❤️
The scalp is saturated with oil. I do it for my 4 year old daughter. After child birth and losing my matriarchs, I have to oil my hair myself and it's not the same. I warm the oil. The trims are 1/5th of an inch. African origin and African American hair care is pretty good too. I have curly hair but stopped using Cantu because of the scent but otherwise Do Gro is not bad.
Thankkkk youuuu for this, It was sooo informative! New subscribers 🥳 I love the depth of your content! I used to use Amla oil 24/7/365 years ago and it worked GREAT but I used to leave it in and after a while it started to make my hair feel hard like straw every time I used it so I assumed my hair didn’t like it anymore or was protein sensitive. Now I hardly use oil, I use Indian hemp grease, keeps my hair moisturized longer in this FL weather. But I’ll start incorporating hot oil treatments along with the pressures points and massages and add some inversion for a little ✨razzle dazzle✨ feel like I’ve been stuck at bra strap length for yearssss 😩 so I need to switch it up to reach my waist length goals. You should start a Indian hair technique challenge!
It's bcoz u over did it , any kind of oil is should be used 2wice a week that's enough even once a week is enough if u r using some hair mask in a week
You go girl. I had my hair on top of my butt and cut it off. It grow on 1 year. It wasn't pretty and it was too long for me. It also aged me. I love long hair but to my ribs, not longer. Hey love, I have low porosity hair and it works great for me. I suggest you make a little bit to test if your hair likes it and if it does, keep using it, if not, stop using it and fin another oil. 💖
We don't wash our hair everyday. Most Indians do it once or twice a week. Even when we have oil in our hair. Many oil their hair regularly. Some oil their hair one day before the hair wash. Many even use ghee instead of oil before washing it.

How did you make the oil? Please share!
That’s a lot of ingredients
@solarLola Yeah it is, you could also make an oil that I've been using for a year or two that really helped. I boil 2 parts of coconut oil with one part castor oil, throw in about 20-30 curry leaves, same amount of neem leaves until the leaves get brown. After its cooled off, I cut and add the gel of about 3-5 vitamin e capsules, and then mix it up. That's all there is! If you want you can add amla powder, I decided not to because I don't want my hair to darken.
If you have dandruff, you could also add fresh aloe vera gel at the end.
You boil all the ingredients or not please reply

I use extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil and mix it with few drops of Jamican black castor oil and it works wonders! I have tailbone length hair and trying to get it down past my bum. Sorry for such a long comment, I am obsessed with hair, it's my crown and I treat it like the most luxurious fabric I have.

I like what I'm learning about Indians.
you are so welcome love and thanks for watching 💖
Aww, I love seeing the cultural exchange happening in the comments 🥺 our cultures are all so beautiful and it’s nice to see us learning from and appreciating each other

@sukanya that's sound advice!
@@Mayaspiral even Indians who eat a lot of meat generally have more vegetables in their diet due to our tasty vegetarian options.
@@NovaUtopia it's true he does, but we eat the same diet (I actually eat more veggies) and his hair still grows faster then mine lol
List of Ingredients we Indians use:
1)Indian Gooseberry/Amla (to be consumed and can also be used by boiling it in hair oil)
2)Hair Mask made of Hibiscus leaves and flowers
3)Onion juice/ginger juice/garlic juice
4)Hair serum made of Fenugreek combined with Black seeds or cloves
5)Soapnut or Shikakai to shampoo hair
6)Frequent hot oil massage with a combination of Coconut oil,Castor oil, Mustard oil with Curry leaves sundried into the oils.

It makes your hair smooth and silky
Note :1. Don't heat the oil mix
2. Don't use excess oil
3. Use 100% pure castor oil
4. Braid your hair before sleeping
I think it's ok to heat it but very little
@@justagirl8757for me I have to use high heat under a hooded dryer.

Hey, it's okay. You can start reapplying your mother's method. It's not too late you still have 70% hair you can do it! :)
If this is my whole life, my mother shaving my head to make it grow thick , then at 14/15 I thought shampooing my puffy hair is how I treat so I did damaged and I got scalp acne at college I shaved it off and bcs of pollution and etc I loose so my hair and hairfall plus I have wavy but bit more curly 3A hair but their texture is thick like plastic and it's frizzy idk how to take care of it
Girl don't get too down! You can still get your hair back. Using castor oil, coconut oil and braids. It's perfectly possible!!
That’s exactly why they need to focus on more fruits and vegetables. Too much animal protein is not good for you.
Thank you for sharing 💖
Will I smell like onions though? 😩 Thank you!!!! ❤️

Thank you for sharing and i'm glad you enjoyed 💖
Which brand bhringraj oil do you use?
It is also genetics , which plays an important role 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Of course genetics play a role but we can't change our genetics so i don't focus on that or mention it with hair growth tips because we can't do anything about it 💖
Yeah genes can play the role...
But normally our mom ..grandmom .. aunts all has long hair ..long hair is common.
We try to keep long hairs... whichever long is possible in today's busy schedule.
But Massage schedule is common in us.
True genes play the major role in hair texture and density but if you're not doing anything that contributes to the health of your hair it won't look as good as it's meant to be. That's my case. I have lots of hair but I'm constantly surrounded by stressors at this moment that it makes it difficult for my hair to grow but I'm trying my best now to restore it
I have a good but now there so much hair fall and my parent hair is less so it is genetic issue

There are certain days or on occasions where I let my hair down 😜
Hi Nadia. What does lemon juice do to hair

Thank you!just screenshot this

Accurate. When I was living in India I used to wash my hair with reetha and shikakai at least once a month. I am talking about whole reetha and shikakai and not powder. Sleeping with my hair in a bun is causing breakage though, but because my hair is quite long, only mid back, i just don't know how else to wear my hair for sleep. I looked into hair-wrapping from an African American youtube channel, but i haven't tried it yet.

Now it is on my shoulders, it is healthy but I don't like it so short. Lol I'm gonna start using onion on my shampoo to grow it faster. I want it on my bra. :D
AMLA oil now contains a lot of mineral oil. At least nowadays. Apparently it didn’t used to, so that is why it’s not working as well as it used to.
@@Rosannasfriend i have hair which is down my bellybutton but i want hair which is on my hip length
I want to make an oil for my scalp using moringa powder, but I'd read that it isn't good for low porosity hair because it has protein. I really want to try it for scalp massages. Can use some help. Thank you. You and your family stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐
Hey love, I have low porosity hair and it works great for me. I suggest you make a little bit to test if your hair likes it and if it does, keep using it, if not, stop using it and fin another oil. 💖
@@ANGIEBEE Thank you my beautiful sister. You and your family stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐

This is a wonderful video and very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you love. I'm glad you enjoyed it 💖
I loved your video... people in the west could use Fenugreek with coconut oil. Also you could easily get amla oil in any indian grocery store
I use amla oil, it makes my hair so soft, love it.
We don't wash our hair everyday. Most Indians do it once or twice a week. Even when we have oil in our hair. Many oil their hair regularly. Some oil their hair one day before the hair wash. Many even use ghee instead of oil before washing it.
