Pro tip: Open the book so the front and back cover are touching, then slide the plastic cover over both front and back covers. Close the book and the plastic will pull tight. This way you don’t have to bend the paper front/back cover at all. :)

You don't need to buy the official plastic cover. Cheap plastic sheets are available and you can cover these yourself.
