Indian ThunderStroke - How to Change Engine Oil

I go through the oil change procedure for my 2017 Indian Springfield motorcycle in this video. This applies for all thunderstroke models, except that the newer models (2020 and up) require 6 quarts of engine oil, instead of 5.5 quarts like my bike (and 2019 models and below).

I am having a problem loosening the two drain plugs. What do you suggest?

If your drain plugs haven’t been rounded and they’re just stuck, you probably just need a longer socket wrench for more leverage.
If your drain plugs have been rounded, and you haven’t removed a rounded bolt before, I suggest just taking it into the shop and let them take it out. Any other part of the bike, you can watch UA-cam videos and try to take out the rounded bolt. But if you damage the part of the bike near the drain plug, that’s a major major repair.
