That 40 breeder turned out killer with the Tonga branches! Bibs on rock work and the light on the 40 breeder if you sell it! 😉 I’m excited to see what the future holds for that 8 footer! Keep us posted!
Even through the triumphs, the tank looks great! I also know the struggle with multiple tanks, I’m about to go down to two, from my current three. It’s very demanding especially with a full time job and family. Great video 👏
Liquid feed your small corals man... Also drop the temp according to where your corals are native. Change circulation pattern and strength every few days. Everything will come good. Chemicals should be avoided btw, there is no reason to introduce synthetic water treatments. Sorry..its not a lecture man.. just trying to help. take care from Australia. ( Coral Coast ) ;)
I’m planning in upgrading from a 20 high to a 40 breeder. I’ve only been in the hobby for about a yr and a half. Checking out youtube here for some looks at an established system. It seems like a good size all around. Any tips? Going with mostly softies.
I think it's a great idea to combine all you tanks into one larger one, though I don't know if you clown pairs will get along if you transfer all the fish.
Bullet hole clown? Tanks are looking pretty good after that event you had. Can't wait to see everything combined in a giant tank. I have to agree 1 system would be a lot easier to maintain but if you wanted to have a dirty tank and low maintenance, I keep a softy tank for that.
Everything is looking good. I heard you don’t have to quarantine mollies if you are taking them from freshwater because the pathogens or diseases from freshwater don’t transfer to saltwater.
So sorry to hear about that water source problem but your a great reefer and I know your tanks will bounce back from that little bump in the road. Moving everything into a larger system is going to look amazing there and did you get a chance to go to reefapoluza?
The thing is you cannot be absolutely sure that's the problem unless you do ICP test you're thinking that's the problem but you can't be sure not trying to be a smart aleck but that's just my two cents nice pic by the way
Without revealing too much, someone sent four water samples from the same aquarium to the same icp company from four different accounts. Value varied heavily. It's of my opinion that icp is merely an expensive pat on the back
Love the tanks but your losing 80% of your food down the drain when not shutting off your return pump. Just leave wave makers on and feed. Your honestly safer and better off just dosing no3/po4 by fish of hex. Rather than waiting for your food to break down.
I use to shut off the return pumps but after forgetting to turn one on and seriously setting the tank back I discontinued. I make no3 po4 and dose weekly but from my experience over feeding has better results. Not sure why exactly. Thank you providence tidal reef for the feedback and positive vibes.
@@AcroBreeder awesome, haven't tried to make my own yet. I'm a fan of overfeeding like you rather than doseing. Just find it's harder to control nutrients if they do get out of hand. At least when you dose no3/po4 you can just say well I'm not gonna dose today lol
Dang, stepping it up big with the 8' room divider tank, nice!

Thank you, alot of work went into it. Where are you located? Because I will be selling everything eventually.
@@AcroBreeder I’m in Reno Nevada.

The new tank is going to be awesome - man reefing has a lot of ups and downs

I think the zoa is called a tiki torch but I might be wrong and the clown I believe is a buckshot/bullet hole
Very nice set up. Good luck on the 8 foot. Also what brand hookah is that? Looks like KM but I don't recognize the base.
Thank you for the positive vibes. Byo hookah
How did you do the aquascape is it tonga or something different

What is that juice that you are using for feed your fishes? And I would like to see that 8 ft tank, what deep and heigh will you go?

Where did you get the stand
What light do you use

Nice 👍. For the 8 foot tank is it going to be custom and what vendor are you going with? Also how many times a day do you feed? Thanks!
Likely 2nd hand, once per day on the feeding, also target feed lps reef roids once per week
Who has time to take care of all those tanks
how often do you feed that amount?
where is the stand from?
Hey, been following you for sometime now.. tanks looking good!! One question, what is your light schedule for the 40 breeder??
12h leds with 1h ramp up and down. T5s 10h
@@AcroBreeder thanks!!!

I wish i got a 40 breeder tank instead of a 45 high.
