Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s true that not every racket suits everyone, and we fully acknowledge that our review reflects our personal experience with it. That’s precisely what makes reviews valuable-they offer subjective, authentic impressions from real players. If every review were required to strictly follow Yonex guidelines to be considered "true," then reviews would lose their authenticity and become scripted. The beauty of a review lies in its honesty and individuality, even if it doesn’t resonate with everyone. Im used to stiff racketd and I agree on ur power rating I feel like compared to power its not super powerful compared to my main racket 100zz. However its easier to use ❤
Having owned this racket for several months now, I'm also struggling to extract power from it. Maybe my technique isn't good enough to wield such a stiff racket. That said, I like the solid hitting feel of this racket and its stiff shaft is excellent for net kills.
coming from a 99 pro, I must say this is very userfriendly but damn i lack power with this one. that make it a good double racket for faster rally with this maniability, but for me who like single i'll stay with my 99 pro
We couldn't agree more! We were expecting absolute power, so this certainly surprised us. But of course - Yonex know what they're doing, and are presenting the racket the way it is for a specific playstyle. But hey, you must be mighty strong to wield the 99pro as your daily racket - that thing is a sledgehammer!
I have the 88d game vs 77 play..i find that the 77play much more head heavy and stronger in smashes..what do you think? Still thinking should i go for 88d pro or 77 pro 🤔
@ cool..i will be waiting for your review..so far im liking the 77play for its explosive power compared to the 88d game..but..who knows..maybe the 88d pro is much better
We haven't measured the Astrox77 racket before, but based on what we know - the 77 (by right) should be less head-heavy as compared to the 88/99/100 models. That's why it is a popular racket among top female international players. An Se Young, Chen Yu Fei, and Huang Dong Ping are players who have wielded the Astrox 77 during competitions. The Astrox77 emphasises technique, placement, and strategy over raw power. If you are after super head heavy rackets, you can give the Astrox99 a go, that thing is a sledgehammer!
which do you think is better than this the 100zz or the 88D pro 3G? i have only tried the 88D pro and its really good and very versatile but i notice its quite heavy which i guess is related to how stable and durable it is what's your take on a brief comparison to the 100zz and 88D pro?

The 100zz is a lot more responsive and stiff. We can't put our finger on it, but the 100zz is just SPECIAL. As are most/all Z/ZZ series rackets. They are the cream of the crop!
Hi . I am a big fan of your channel. Can you make a video about 100zz vs axforce 100 vs mizuno fortune 10 power which one is best for us with full details. Please
We measure every racket with a vernier calliper! We do acknowledge that human error is inevitable, but also every racket that is manufactured has a margin of error due to manufacturing inefficiencies. For example, every racket is rated 3U or 4U instead of the actual 88grams or 83grams for that very same reason! They do vary with a mild margin of error, sometimes +- 1-2 grams.
No one racket is better than another. Different rackets suit different playstyles! The best racket is the one you feel most 'at one with' and comfortable wielding!
@@MoreThanASwing I can really tell the difference on my smash timing. 88D Pro for me is way more responsive and way more stiffer than the 99 Pro. They both produce the same power but the speed of the 88D Pro is where the 99 Pro loses
The tour is slightly more forgiving (less stiff) which makes it "whippier". It makes it easier to smash, for example. Top tier players are so strong, so they can fully maximise the benefits of an ultra stiff racket. The Pro models also come with more new technology than the entry level models. Among the Pro/Tour/Game/Play models, the Pro models are also made in Japan. The more budget friendly options are made in Taiwan or China.
Which one would be better 99 Game or 88d Game (3rd gen) I prefer aggressive gameplay and want power. I already have 99 play just purchased some times ago but planning to change please tell me.
If you really enjoy the 99 Game, we'd say stick with it and see if you have the opportunity to try the 88D Game from one of your mates. They are more similar in nature, so the change wouldn't be drastic.
I have 99 play not game, and i guess 88d game has a slightly smaller frame. Right now i want to switch wo any game variant 88d game or 99 game or can go for 100 game
I was thinking to invest in either Nanoflare 1000z or Arcsaber 11 pro. I prefer to not only control the rally but also hit hard and fast smashes and clears, recommend which of these two should I buy or if possible recommend some other better options.

this 88D pro 3rd gen is sooooooooooo beautiful, its my dream racket as of now

To be honest this racket not for you so your review is not true
that's gonna hurt a lot😅

Hi Joel, hope you are well can you do a comparison between the yonex 100zz and the Lining axeforce 100 please
This seems like a popular suggestion, we'll take note!
@@MoreThanASwing I second this
I have both. The Axforce 100 has a small advantage in power while the 100zz remains better in control. Both are head heavy but feels even balanced.
Swiched from Nanoflare 800 tour to this 4ug5 spec, feels satisfying at smashing, defense is not bad too
Glad that the switch went well for you!

It doesn't look like a replacement for the original 88D, I have since then moved on to the 99P for single match.

How does it compare with the tour version? Are they close?
Tour has Rexis Shaft, which make it just a bit stiffer. In terms of feeling Tour and Pro are close, but Pro is more comfortable all round

Arcsaber is the pick for majority of people, it's also a bit head heavy so it'll still produce some punch

Arcsaber 11 pro, 1000z just too fragile
