I watched a tutorial that was 10 hours explaining what you just simplified in min. Thanks for this
calvinclyke glad you liked it brotha! More to come.
Simple and effective without the long winded explanations found in other tuts. Best part is, it actually works exactly like what I'm seeing from your tut. Like sub.
Thank you, was about to buy a skin brush package, you saved me some money.
Awesome! Glad to hear it! I always enjoy bringing some value to fellow artists. Share the video when you get the time. I would greatly appreciate it!
Absolutely brilliant! Using your technique has caused my characters face and surrounding skin to explode with life. Thankyou for sharing!
Yold Man my pleasure and thanks for taking the time to share such kind words
Thanks, Shotsguns Cream!
My hero
This channel is gold, and you are gold, kind sir!
Thank you for that! Appreciate it!
subscribed! A really helpful tutorial I can't wait to finish my character sculpt and put these on.
The formsoft brush is so amazing never used it before but it will definitely be one of my fav brushes!
Thanks so much for the subscription! Greatly appreciate it. Even more thrilled that this tutorial helped you. Keep sculpting away!
Incredibly helpful. You just distilled the perfect set of essential skin texture techniques for any skill level to get satisfying immediate results that genuinely look like skin. None of this shortcut noise fill nonsense. Thank you! Subscribed and liked faster than a super fast thing... I don't know, umm.... a hummingbird? No. I didn't float and peck at that subscribe button. Umm, a missile? Nah, I plan to revisit this to watch it about a thousand more times. OH! I KNOW! I hit that subscribe button like the vengeful judgement of an angry elder god!
Boosh. Nailed it. Rough in the middle there, but I stuck the landing.
Lol thanks brotha. Glad it was helpful.
Yeah this helped me, subscribed. Ditto that Hair Tute ! Much needed, real appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to leave some kind words. Glad it helped!
awesome tutorial, Do You have more tutorials regarding pore regions or wrinkles (age marks ) thanks
I love how you reply to every comment unlike other UA-camrs. Also, is there a way to apply noise to textures? I wanted to upload a skin texture into zbrush just to add the realistic noise effect to it and use it for a virtual game
you can into Surface in your Tool palette, click noise, then edit, at the bottom left of the canvas you will see an Alpha on/off. Click that and now you can use alphas as the basis for your Noise applications. Very glad you are enjoying the channel. Share the video if you would be so kind.
Spicer McLeroy wait, how am I able to upload a texture just to add noise and save it?
Basically what I am trying to say.. I uploaded a obj mesh head into zbrush. I was trying to find a way to create skin pores and found that zbrush was the better way to go. I uploaded my skin texture file to apply it to the obj mesh head that I’ve uploaded. I am trying to apply the noise to the skin instead of only on the mesh head 😭 I hope I’m making sense
understand it in quickly, on to the point .. I watched most of them just talking talking
bro do you have eye sculpt tutorial
Thanks for making this short and simple definitely subscribing. Do you have any tips for modeling separate pieces of metal and cloth armor (something that could be taken off or put on)?
Thanks so much! Really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and subscribing. Are you speaking of something that you would 3d Print or something you would take off just digitally? I do not have anything like that on my channel. All I can say is reverse engineer the piece and start from the inside working outward and dont be afraid to make pieces over and over again until you get it right. That's what champions do!
@@ShotgunScream Just digitally I could start it in Maya and export it, but since I'm working on learning ZBrush I'm trying to find a good method for doing as much as I can there instead. I've still got some final details to add to the character's skin, but I'm thinking I might try masking bits and pieces, extruding, drinking a shit load of coffee, shaping it all out, punching a hole through the wall when it doesn't work the way I want it to, and trying again.
Undead Taco I would start with blocking it out with masking and extracting. Then move brush til the forms are the way I like it. Use trim dynamic and then after that sketch is done retopologize with the topology brush and use Zmodeler to recreate it with really clean topology. Hope that helps.
Thanks for this nice tutorial!
Can you also do one on 'How to Sculpt Hair Details in Zbrush'?
I love your way of teaching!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I will do so soon as I get a decent enough workflow for you all. Thank you for the suggestion!
So I have completed a few hair styles with success. Will make tutorial soon about the process.

@@ShotgunScream I'd Like to see your Approach to Hair Simulation. or even do a comparison between Zbrush & Blender
How many division this sphere have?
How many poly to get this resolution?
Hey Bruno, I believe it was subdivided this about 5-6 times.
thnx so much sir , for this amaizing tutorial... can u plz make a tutorial on how to make this thing with high res alphas??
Thanks for watching. I am unclear on your question? Do you mean how to create high res alphas or how to use them?
well sir i meant how to use thm in a proper way...can u plz help me out in this matter?
Thanks for sharing Spicer, cheers!
My pleasure!
nice tutorial!! i really apreciate it but i have a doubt how can i put details using alphas but not to add geometry while im on it, can you or someone else who knows can help me with this ?
viewtiful jose you would use maps. This is for sculpting not for the final output that would either be decimated for 3D printing or a low poly cage with displacement and normal maps.
thank you very much for your response i will learn a lot about this maps have a great day
Check out my Renderman Tutorial for an overview of what maps will do.
thank you ! right now i will see it!! thanks again !
cool
Thank you brotha. Glad you enjoyed it!
