Chapter 597- 3D2Y Chapter 579- A few seconds of courage. All have been godly chapters. You can say the same for any OP chapter though.

Nightmare for the amount time that’s passed in the story which is about 2 years and a couple months. Having to wait 20 years for an ongoing story that sill has not concluded. Absolutely shouldn't have ended there. Also, it's not like it wasn't always shown how long the story was going to be. We knew the show wouldn't be over soon after getting to the grandline, they'd have to sail all the way around the world. In addition, the story (at least in the manga) doesn't stretch itself out, but simply becomes denser and more rich. The world within One Piece simply has a very intricate level of detail, with close to every major character having concrete motivations and goals. Establishing all these things in even an efficient way simply takes time, and rushing the story wouldn't serve anything.

Marr Cosmic Shanks I wouldn’t say is passing his touch off to Luffy. More like he’s passing Rogers off to him. As Luffy wants to have Freedom like Roger and to Luffy what symbolizes the most Freedom is being the King of the Pirates like Roger. He may want to surpass Shanks, but I can see Shanks wanting to see Luffy become like Roger more and even surpass both of them.
I often wonder if in his spare time Oda and other manga authors scroll through UA-cam and see how many people can crack their mangas then when they're close they shift gears and go in a brand new direction.

Yes, sea kings, at least most of them live in the calm belt, that's why most pirates dont travel on it, since theres little to no wind on the belt, it's very dangerous to travel with sea kings around, basically like a worm waiting to be eaten as bait
Garp probably got saved by roger in a clutch situation in that batte. Probably also the reason, Garp saw Gol D Roger as a friend, and accepted to take care of Ace without hesitation.

You would have to calculate when Oden left WB's ship, so when Roger recruited him for his last voyage to Raftel, right? But still, if this happened 16 years ago in the canon of the manga, that's still a long ass time for a commander position to be left open, especially the 2nd spot *edit: you would also need to a) know exactly when Oden joined with Roger (was that even stated to be for just his last adventure?) and b) know when Ace became 2nd commander. I would love to see you spell out all the details in the timeline with mention of the specific year! :)
Can I just say, I started reading One Piece around the start of this year, and finally got current like 2 months ago. As someone relatively new to the series, it feels so good to be current right now. I feel like I unintentionally chose the best time to get current and I LOVE THIS MANGA!
Shanks has only been a yonko for 6 years. Meaning that he’s accumulated a bounty that high in a shorter span of time compared to Big Mom and Kaido who have been yonko for much longer probably.
Well blackbeard has been yonko for 2 years and has pretty high bounty. And bounty doesn't equal strenght. But still, don't underestimate linlin. She killed a giant, pirate giant when she was 5 years. She pretty much a walking disaster, so I am not suprised why her bounty is higher. Still, I don't know how strong is shanks so can't say if shanks stronger than linlin
Domas Pauliukevicius Blackbeard got two of the strongest devil fruit in the series though, it would make sense he got that bounty so fast. Shanks did everything with one arm

This whole chapter was like porn to me. I'm definitely a Lore Whore and this was an amazing chapter - It makes sense God Valley is gone considering White Beard was fighting all out on it. Him alone would be enough let a lone Kaido, Big Mom, the rest of Rocks and Garp
I actually climaxed 3 times during this chapter. Once when Shanks was revealed, then when Roger and finally when I realized that they ended the chapter on how Roger stole Oden from whitebeard even though we already knew that.

Everybody wants money so somebody is gonna want that yonko money. It's also a great way to let the public and hunters know how dangerous a particular outlaw might be
Bounties are the level of threat that the WG feels from pirates. So it never made sense that the chill yonko, with one ship, who minds his own business would have the highest bounty. Like Big Mom, Kaido, and WB have huge fleets and territories so them having the highest bounties makes sense.
It could be a way to show Shank’s strength. How can one ship be that big of a threat against the government? Shanks could also know information that makes him a threat as well.
Well, Shanks stole the Goku Gomu no mi and considering what's up in the latest chapters, the WG upped his bounty level so high that you could pass out from oxygen deprivation just by the sheer level of it!

Blackbeard might be Rocks son considering that they both are a D. and Ace took his mother's name, that would make him Teach D Xebec. Blackbeard knows so much about the world and devilfruits and "the strongest" devilfruits like the dark-dark fruit.

Buggy doesnt have level 6 prisoners he had level 5 and above at most. Blackbeard made level 6 kill eachother and recruited all the survivors. So no level 6 prisoners exist outside of bb's crew

If you look at the panel background Tekking mentions when talking about how Roger can be seen with his cutlass again, you can see Garp and Roger face off with Rocks, Big Mom, Whitebeard and Kaido. Also it was mentioned they were far from their current strength 🤔

Absolutely shouldn't have ended there. Also, it's not like it wasn't always shown how long the story was going to be. We knew the show wouldn't be over soon after getting to the grandline, they'd have to sail all the way around the world. In addition, the story (at least in the manga) doesn't stretch itself out, but simply becomes denser and more rich. The world within One Piece simply has a very intricate level of detail, with close to every major character having concrete motivations and goals. Establishing all these things in even an efficient way simply takes time, and rushing the story wouldn't serve anything.

Bounties are the level of threat that the WG feels from pirates. So it never made sense that the chill yonko, with one ship, who minds his own business would have the highest bounty. Like Big Mom, Kaido, and WB have huge fleets and territories so them having the highest bounties makes sense.
It could be a way to show Shank’s strength. How can one ship be that big of a threat against the government? Shanks could also know information that makes him a threat as well.

Blackbeard achieved his strongest pirate crew the same way Rocks did, Teach went to a place where the strongest pirates were (Impel Down) and convinced them to fight each other and take the strongest, after that he took a very dramatic turn taking a second devilfruit which is a secret like an ancient weapon that Rocks was after (considering that the WG was trying to hide his name), Blackbeard was on the same Beehive island and was amassing giant armies of pirates and tons of gold and information and more devilfruits. Blackbeard might be Rocks son considering that they both are a D. and Ace took his mother's name, that would make him Teach D Xebec. Blackbeard knows so much about the world and devilfruits and "the strongest" devilfruits like the dark-dark fruit.

Buggy doesnt have level 6 prisoners he had level 5 and above at most. Blackbeard made level 6 kill eachother and recruited all the survivors. So no level 6 prisoners exist outside of bb's crew

Like Big Mom and Kaidou vs. all the supernovas levels of trash. That's how much lower the entirety of Rocks crew would have had to been than Roger and Garp for this to make any sense.
The chapter says the entire Rocks crew perished in the fight meaning meaning they were all there.
Bogard and Roger's crew being there makes more sense to me anyway.

Thank you. Nobody else in any reaction or review I watched remembered that. I freaked out when I read that, because I think BB is related to Rocks D. Xebec. It would give BB more depth as a character, that I've been wanting.
The only problem I have with BB being related to rocks is that in Marineford while WB was kicking BB ass near to death, he said BB wasn't really a D cause the D family always smile in death and BB was begging & crying for WB to spare his life.
