I remember when Hyundai first started selling these cars in overseas markets in the early 1980s. This particular variant also came as a station wagon and a pickup. Haven't seen one on the road in years, but whenever I see this kit or hear about the Pony, it is really impressive how far Hyundai has come as a car company in the last 4 decades. I also like that this particular variant comes with the driver figure, something Tamiya was famous for years ago but it's not something you see very often now.
That Korean turned on pretty good. The front suspension looked a little tricky. Finished model looks great. I wonder if this car would’ve sold here in the states.

Interesting Louie. I have another issue of this kit that I will build as a Korean police car. BTW it's a 79 not a 69. My ex was Korean. I only speak a few words but can't read any. 😄
