      He's an amazing drummer! I love his delicate but intense playing on the 1964 Belgium TV concert with Chet Baker. Great bass drum work, very distinctive. I've been studying that video for his playing. Glad I found this one. Greetings form Canada.

      I never heard of your father before today. That's shocking , he's a terrific drummer . Better late then never . Love his drum solos.

    Nobody says nothing about Lou´s playing?Please, he is the leader in this session and he proves it!He was very unique related his "bass playing" with his left foot and don´t forget the other foot too!

    Just started enjoying Lou Bennett's fantastic playing - the whole trio is truly brilliant. I see Bennett is using a drawbar setting, different than 888000000 or 888888888... the registrations often used by the Hammond masters. His entire approach was very original, and a real pleasure to hear!

      ELEK BACSIK .....le coup de foudre au drugstore des Champs Elysées . j'ai entendu cette guitare ...et avant d'être foudroyé
      j'ai demandé au serveur si il pouvait me renseigner sur ce que
      je venais de découvrir . Ni une ni deux , cet inconnu sort la
      pochette d' un 33T et me le cède pour 100 francs de l'époque .
      Dès mon retour j'ai écouté le disque en boucle et je n'ai dès lors
      plus lâché jazz et guitare . MERCI encore pour ce qui fût un
      moment de grâce .
