In this episode of our Thailand travel vlog, we take you to the beautiful island of Koh Kood Thailand. Our journey starts in the province of Trad, at the Leamsok Pier, where we take a 1 hour ride on the Boonsiri Ferry to get to the beautiful tropical island of Ko Kut. After another 40 minutes ride in a local songtao, we get to Koh Kood Resort where we are told we are the only guests in the whole resort.
We get to experience Thailand travel like we've never seen before - enjoying pristine beaches with virtually no tourists and the best sunsets we've seen in Thailand. The next day during our Thailand island travel, we did some fun activities like paddle boarding, snorkeling, and we also kayaked up a river towards a waterfall, which was absolutely amazing. The island of Koh Kood is somewhat harder to get to, but definitely worth the visit.

Thank you! Koh Kood is a more low-key island for sure, but also one of the best. Absolutely come and check it out.
A pleasure to watch! Helpful info. Great attitude about Thailand and the people. Thanks.

Which month did you go there?
We went in May. The place is great.
I did one day in koh kut from koh Chang 2 years ago ❤️ hope I could stay a week soon #fuckcovid19
Koh kut is the best. We love it.
Even i have plan to visit Koh kut after visiting Koh chang..can you please tell me about the ferry timings. Can we directly book ticket in the pier or we need to book ahead?
Also are there any transport available from Koh chang pier to ko kut pier as we don't have our own car
You can book the ferry on the spot, they usually have a lot of room.
Sometimes they have a service from Koh Chang to Koh Kut, but if that one does not run, you have to go back to Trat and take it from there.
From transportation, you can take a taxi, there are many around there.
ถามตรงๆตอนนี้อยู่เมืองไทยเหรอ
Yes. In Phuket
This Koh Kood resort for usd 31 is on what beach.
The Resort is in Bang Bao Beach. It was amazing. I could live there forever.
You need to do in much deeper for each destination instead of just the tip:)
You should have hired a motorbike and shown us all the beaches and some tips on other great deal accomodation.
You made a big mistake. Knowing Koh Kood is expensive island n you got accomodation so cheap you should have made the best of it n given us viewers a very detailed account on all its beaches restaurants even though few open.
Excellent suggestions. We will definitely doo that next time. Thank you.
Dude, do you have any idea how spoiled you sound complaining about having to take a boat to get there, vs. just drive your car directly to your hotel? It sounds like that, or maybe you just have no experience with islands in Thailand or how things are done when you want to travel beyond Bangkok. Yikes!
I guess it does sound like a complaint. The purpose was to be more informative, so people know what to expect if they want to visit. And yes, at the time, I had no experience traveling in Thailand.
