- Repair & Refresh Hex Drill Driver Video
I found this hex driver from Japan recycle shop only 5$. It didn't work because its head was stuck. I replaced the stuck bearing, cleaned dusts, add new grease. After the repairing it works very well, you can see it test it at the end of the video.
I hope you find something useful & enjoy this video!
I am happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I apologize for the mistake if I have made in this restoration !!!
**I still keep some parts, I want to save the world's environment**

Awesome video as always and as A Swedish citizen it is always nice to see SKF bearings through out the world. SKF = "Svenska kullager fabriken" = "The Swedish roller bearing factory"
Unbelievable robust and solid mechanics! I've never seen anything like that in a simple screwdriver. Makita is the best!
This is not screwdriver, this is impact driver.
ua-cam.com/video/vVTylFpsVs4/v-deo.html
@@shaiba5095 It drives screws in. Impact drivers normally have way more torque!
well, it costs almost the same as the "full-size" driver. got one recently. nice machine, light and capable
You give old unused gadgets new life
you are excellent and meticulous in treating all unloved tools the same and reviving them from near-death conditions! your videos are great to watch and I have learnt a lot from your lessons.
Wow, thank you!
Man that thing had a LOT of. balls. Another great video. !

That magnet tool sure comes in handy.
neat! it's a screwdriver but instead of a clutch it has a impact driver head. great find. i'm jealous.
Yes it is mini impact driver drill.
Amazing 👍👍👍
You’re great at everything! Except for painting!😂
Very nice video! 🎄like it 262

Good work brother
Thank you brother!
You are a good youtuber you are not wasting time of intro
When lettering, don't bother with a brush, use a cooking sponge (they are firmer than say a dish washing sponge). Dip in paint, apply paint. That's how they do it in the factory too, just with a bigger sponge and a mechanical arm.
Perfect...
Крутая отвёртка. :)
Jamais utilizar desimgripante como lubrificante! Like show pelo trabalho
Looking at the cover image I thought it's a dirty lightsaber. 😂
We'll have to wait a bit longer for those videos.
О Макита! Обожаю Макиту!
Yes, me too.
These videos are making me question why I am buying new tools!! I feel inadequate now!! 😩😩
What did you use to clean the white body. I own this great tool which is still working good after 10 yrs+.
Thanks for the video.
I think first part of video is missing, otherwise good restoration.
So ... this is you, Mr. Tool. He's here

Good hit🇮🇳👍👍 Kuki
Why no grease between most of the moving metal parts? Seems like a constant modus
マジで助かる
Nicely done, great Driver. Try putting your paint on a board and rolling the raised letters over it.
That great idea, thank you!
@@gear_show Is the first part of the video missing?
yeah, this idea came across my mind also
Poca lubricación okkk...Saludosss
Máy này chưa vệ sinh chắc cũng gần củ. Ah này người VN chắc luôn. Đúng cho 1 tim nhé
rất hữu ích
It is good
Muy buenoo 🇦🇷🇦🇷
Thank you!
two questions
1-is there a way to repair the bearings or is it just best to replace them?
2- what kind of grease do you use?
It is take time to repair the bearings, replace them is good choice. I use grease number 2 it is make for small gearbox.
You can't really repair bearings and they pretty much always have a code on them which you can use to find a replacement and they are typically pretty cheap.
@@gear_show nice job man! Salutes from Colombia
I thought that the vinegar was “malt vinegar” but then I read the label and realised it’s just been used a lot 😂
Yes I use it one time.
gear show wow, only once and it went that colour, I’m surprised we put vinegar in food now 😂
Think you get either brown vinegar, or clear ones in stores
PureRushXevus on the bottle it says distilled white vinegar. I know there’s different kinds.
Like your videos. Please, Can you tell me what's the white powder you used to clean plastics with water thanks. Best regards from France 👍
It is detergent powder.
Wow
👏🏻
I was hoping that you would replace the motor with a new one since its outer casing is rusted and probably the insides too. But nevertheless it's an amazing vid.
Doesn’t matter because the copper and magnet that used to run that motor not gonna rust anyway 😂
Hi mate! I´m from Azores Islands (Portugal) and I love to see your videos!
Where can i buy one of this for me?
where to buy replacement parts
First time we see rinsing the plastic body! 😂
Tuyệt vời
got a black and decker one of those for free all i had to do was charge it cuz it was missing a charger
I find myself watching these videos compulsively whilst at the same time scratching my head wondering what the point of it actually is.
you can do video about replace battery this model
What is the 46pca tool box??
Qua o nome desse produto para limpeza obg
what kind of grease would you recommend?
I recommend grease number 2.
Also pencil number 2 :)
super genial pero donde compras las herramientas ?
Thank you! I buy them from Japan recycle shop.
Makita man
Humm that motor looks like it has potential to be replaced with some sort of upgrade
Was the beginning of the video corrupted or something?
It is missing the beginning.
You should use baking soda to clean the plastics!
Okay thank you for sharing!
The build quality is superb, but it was utterly filthy inside. I've stripped and rebuilt some bike parts like that, with similar problems.
Is that a Lithium battery? if not, can it be converted?
18650 Li-ion battery i guess
Watch a lot of your videos and most of the time you do a much thorough job kinda seem like this was a rushed one.
I want to buy it too
👍👍😎🍺🍩🔧🔨
6:20 doesnt looks like distilled white vinegar. pretty dark for white
Robert Baleno it’s black vinegar
...Pretty sure the first part of the vid is missing. Mine starts at the piece in the vice.
He got a new parts washer pan, wohoo!!!
That 'white vinegar' isn't very white
Yes, you're right. This video is missing.
eeeeehm... where is the begining of this vidéo ? it starts with the drill head cleaning.
👏👏👏👏👏👏💯💯💯💯💯👍👌🇧🇷🇧🇷
なぜ最初の分解のシーンが無いんです?
What happend to the first part of the video.
It is missing while rendering.
@@gear_show are you going to reupload.

Obviously at 9:43 it shows you put both socks on then your shoes
Смазка где?
Are you also a painter😅😅

Все хорошо, но зачем эти понты с раскладыванием запчастей?
It is my mistake.
