That's all you really need for small screws. You can pre-drill with it, and run your screws. When you're using smaller screws it's always good to pre-drill anyway.

How is the torque setting on the drill? Can you turn it down for elecrronics?
    Edit: I see there are 21 clutch settings. 32 to 50 in.lbs

Thanks for the great review. When i use an ordinary 1/4 hex bit it will not fit snug in the chuck, it will move up and down, is there a solution for this issue or it's normal?

@@urjnlegend no, d hamby is either being facetious or is a dumbass. This is not a hammer drill, it only has a drill setting.

Can you use it as a regular screwdriver? I mean when I assemble delicate Ikea furnitures when it stops on lowest torque can I tighten screw manually? Bigger tool I have even on lowest torque screws in way to much and destroys furniture.

You sure can, it has a manual screwdriver mode.

Thanks for the review. I thought it had a clutch? If you tighten the screws, it doesn't look like it was slipping?

Well, for left handed people, this tool is not adapted. Really a pity.

Hitachi has 3.6v battery compared to the Makita 7.2v so the battery on the Makita will last much longer. Also the Hitachi has known issues with the switch burning out and the rubber on the handle peeling off. I've got the Hitachi, had it the past 5 years and I've had to replace the motor once (3 year mark) and the handle twice due to the rubber peeling.

Is that in drill mode? My one, same concept just slightly different skin, put screws in like an impact driver.
