What do you think - is Will Natty or Not?
Not
Not. it's also his age
@@Rat-nl1xe he's still a young guy though, right?
@@LukeSherran anyone below 40 is young to me. He was great in wild bill if you ever get a chance to watch it.
@@Rat-nl1xe I'll take a look thanks!
I’m convinced any movie star with movie star trainers are on something.
I'm inclined to agree, with certain productions you're almost guilty by association
@@LukeSherran as long they have a contract which states if in case of future health problems from these supplements they will help with medical bills then I think it’s ok.
Depending on what studio they are contracted with, they are!!
The actor may not even know sometimes
except for Shangchi. he is natty
Adam Warlock was teased in Guardians 2 back in 2017, so not impossible that they started looking for an actor already during production of that movie. When you look at interviews with Will Poulter he looks like someone who is getting slightly bigger for each movie. My guess is that he has known for a long time that he had the role, and has been working out consistently for many years. Discussion will definitely flair up again after the release of the movie, because I'm sure he will look even bigger with a pump and all kinds of flattering angles/lighting
Exactly. He's been preparing for this role for at least three years. If any of us had years where our only job was daily training with professionals and our cooking and cleaning were being taken care of by staff, we could look much the same. He's very young, and he's not even Hemsworth huge. No reason to suspect he's juicing up. People are judging his gains by their own extremely limited time, experience, and resources.
@@jkclark5204 well said.
@@jkclark5204 Don't forget that the noobie gains along with a team of people definitely helped in those 3 years because he is still young. He can use those to it's advantage
He even looks like he's been lifting but also kinda at a maintenance bulk? Like you're still bulking slightly but you're still consistent with you're macros and what not. The thing I noticed when an actor on PED's is the oversaturated muscles and there body fat doesn't show.
@@bastianlopez458 jupp, I'd say he's been "maingaining". Staying at maintanence calories, but still lifting heavy
The only reason people think he’s anything but natty is because he’s in Hollywood. If anybody knew somebody with that physique in their hometown built over the years not a single person would suspect them.
Yea. And that person still wouldn’t be natty
@@Akosa117 if you think someone can’t build that physique naturally over 2 plus years then that’s an issue with your mentality. It seems more like you just want to say anyone who has some muscle took something to make it ok for you to not put in the work to look like that
@@magnadelusor4249 no, im just not stupid and can tell if someone not natty. Hollywood is full of people not natty, there’s literally no reason to be.
@@magnadelusor4249 He's not even crazy big. It wouldn't even be that hard if training is literally your ONLY JOB for three years, and you have people cooking and cleaning for you. Anyone (around his age, mind you) could achieve his results with that kind of time on their hands, those resources, and even a little dedication. It's not like he has to work ten-hour days in an office, or a warehouse with repetitive work and poor body mechanics that he has to recover from all week.
People just feel jealous and want to cut down anyone that looks built. The least they could do is complain about his legitimate and obvious advantages rather than make things up to soothe themselves.
@@Akosa117 I said someone in your hometown with that build wouldn’t be suspected and you said that person wouldn’t be natural. That means he’s either in a shape you can’t believe or something else I can’t think of. Most people can get that build with time and effort you saying they can’t is just you making excuses.
You then said that he only wasnt natty because of Hollywood. Not his size, not the speed or lack of gaining that size just that he’s in Hollywood proving my point. Like I said if he wasn’t in Hollywood no one would think that.
A man will fill out all through his 20s and even 30s.
I'm 30lbs heavier at 40 than I was at 20, I've worked out for periods and I'm not fat.
He looks like a man that's worked out but also just grown naturally to me.
I 100% agree! But he's also in Hollywood so...
@@LukeSherran okay so is Jenson Ackles and when he took the role for Soldier Boy he legit just worked his ass off. He maybe gained 5-10 pounds and it was some fat and a bit of muscle. Not all Hollywood actors are on gear or hormones…
@@jasontodd1141 well, tbf, The Boys isn't really Hollywood, but I get what you mean
@@LukeSherran Not all Hollywood actors use steroids
Honestly he could be either, he doesn't look as inflated as Hemsworth in my opinion but he has a big frame naturally to carry the muscle but it's still possible he could have had a little help.
👍👍👍
Having large bones is half the battle to becoming jacked. Larger stronger bones support more muscle thats easier to gain faster.
@@shadf7902 yeah that's not true lol. Typically a skinny person will actually have larger bones. Ask any x-ray technician.
@@strokinbaby965 I’m an X-ray tech. (Technologist, technicians fix the machines)
I’ve never thought that at all. Everyone’s body is different. I’ve never noticed anything where more skinny people have bigger bones.
If anything they’re just easier to X-ray because there’s less fat in the way and easier to feel/see where your bone markings are at.
I definitely don’t think it’s easier for skinny people to build muscle though.
@@scufin it's not easy for anyone to build muscle mass lol. Muscle strength now that's a lot different.
You got me with the YT Short. Great promo 💯
I think it would be frustrating to have people say you're on enhancers, when you worked very hard to achieve something naturally. I think he is definitely natty
I agree, the perceptions of PEDs being what they are, it does seem to diminish your hard work. That said, if you're natural, it should be huge compliment!
Steroid users are usually super veiney, I see none of his veins showing, prob worked rrally hard and did it natural
Yall know absolutely shit about steroids. 90% of Hollywood is on ped not all peds act the same
I would argue that it is a complement)
@@shadf7902 Vascularity has nothing to do with using steroids.... Go to a high school near you and see just how many kids out there are so skinny and veiny. Vascularity is genetics man
Those florence Pugh pictures were from this year, so the difference between that and the midsummer interview was 3 years. I think hes natural, always come across as a nice guy aswell
Him being nice has nothing to do with PED
For a change, I actually think he's natural. He's not vascular and has a decent body fat of around 12%. Good physique, he's worked hard regardless
That would be for people who actually put a bit of work In tho. He changed his hair to one of those "cover up my hairloss problems " styles they all do till it turns Joe Rogan
"he's worked hard regardless"
Well, no. If he took those special duck eggs, he had a very easy time getting bigger.
That is the whole point of steroids. He's not a Mr Olympia competitior, *that* takes a lot of work, completely independent from the drug use. He got to a level for which he would've had to put in a lot of work with his genetics. He took the easy way
@@schmui even if you're on the special eggs, you still need to be regiment with diet, routine and exercise. I will admit though, the gains he probably made in a few months is what Natty's would take years to gain. But natty is easier to sustain that juicing.
Production for the third and final James Gunn directed GOTG movie started November 2021. In the movie called The Score (2021) Will can be seen doing some pull-ups look he's been training for awhile. I'm going to assume that Will started exercising after he was done acting in Midsommar back in 2018, making him 25 years old during that time period. That gives him 3 years and 10 months. He was also in a video game, short movie, mini tv shows and an indie movie. Depending on how long he worked out for, his diet and other factors, it's hard to say. If Will cares about how he looks now, then in the movie or show called "On Swift Horses". It will be easier to decide if Will is natty or not.
At his age, when he started training, he can definitely make a big transformation like that, over 8 years.
The fact that these movie stars are abe to gain and loose muscle mass in such a short period of time for various roles is an explanation in itself, natural growth takes time as body is adapting to stresses you put on it before it decides that enough pressure causes it to add growth to cope with the constant stress
How anyone could think he's on roids is beyond me. He has a really mediocre body. The only thing half decent is his arms. All these people saying roids must not know about proper training and diet at all
If you think that's mediocre you must have a really inflated ego
@@vukantic1978 hardly. I've been bodybuilding since 2014 and that is a noob physique
I'm mean there is context to that statement. If you're a bodybuilder, then yes he's going to look pretty average, but to most people he has already achieved an above average physique.
Just look at guys actually on roids lol, the difference will be easy to see.
In my younger days, I used to be accused of taking steroids....now no one does 😔😭😔😭
Mate, I feel you on this! I've only been asked once or twice in my life, and both times were in my early 30s! Being asked again now would be a big ego boost! 😆
yea the looks is a different topic but the time period matters more here , sometimes the look won't tell you anything about a person whether they use PED or not
I think he's natty, he's not any bigger than me, he's not especially lean and looking at his roles the progress took some time.
The ultimate test - is he bigger than me!? 😆 If he is, then he's definitely on the sauce. Haha, yeah I agree with you.
@@LukeSherran yeah, it sounds pretentious I know, but by that I mean I'm not that big. I've only been training for size for about 6 months and I'm not taking anything
@@cuachogaidh Oh I was only joking mate, it's an old saying that "anyone bigger than me must be on steroids" so the comment made me chuckle. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
Not throwing shade, but his physique is pretty average for anyone who works out 3-6 days in the gym (depending on the level of effort and progression put into training).
It’s important to remember that his physique is likely to be digitally ‘enhanced’ for certain shots in the movie.
So yeah, probably natural.
Don't always rely on before/after photos. Will was in good shape before, but he had to train already. The majority of actors train for any role because the Hollywood industry demands to maintain a flattering aesthetic. Will probably isn't natty because he's put on a lot of muscle on a trained body and it's done so quickly. On the other hand, with time its shape is naturally possible
He had like 2 years to prep so. I think he is natty since I got a friend who been working out for like a year and half, he look bigger than Will, though not as lean since pizza and all but still fair muscular, no visible abs though.
@@Apsolon If your boys been working out a year and looks like that imma need to know his routine.
@@scufin He workout about everyday, about 2 hours. He does chest day, arms day, back day, legs day, shoulder day, he throw in abs at the end every now and then. Not that strict diet, he doesn't have visible abs but pretty beefy.
His has that water puffed look. As well as the "my hair is going away imma cover it up" hairdo. Both generally aren't a result of working out. I looked way more jacked than he. But didn't get the water puffed flotation device look till 1 week of test.
It’s achievable naturally but I believe he took something mild. He’s working with marvel trainers, so we know how that goes.
Just my opinion...he is natural. Ppl forget he was in his teens and building that young muscle is alot easier before the age of 40. So comparing him 10yrs apart is stupid..he isn't jacked..he just looks like he made the gym a consistent part of his life over the last few years
He will eventually use it since he’s not big enought yet look at all the other mcu male actors they freaking huge
I wouldn't say they're all huge. Huge was Arnie as Conan The Barbarian. For example Jason Momoa looks natty to me, as Aquaman
Did have work done like cheek fat removal? Chin extension?
With all the controversy in recent years over these actors physique, If they wanted to put an end to the controversy hugh Jackman, Chris Evans or any of the others could offer to take random test to settle it and end this suspicion.. But that hasn't happened and I believe we all know why.
Unfortunately with celebs it's not about whether or not it's achievable naturally. His physique is definitely achievable naturally. I think it's just that the status quo with movies stars is to use the special "chicken and broccoli" diet.
I don't think it's natural personally. Because in the Netflix show black mirror Bandersnatch he's quite regular sized and in the example given it said in 2019 he was big for midsommar while Bandersnatch only came out in 2018.
He looks pretty natural. Every guy has a best body part that trains better than the others and his clearly are his arms
Honestly, having seen GOTG 3, I would confidently say he is natural.
There are 3 reasons I believe this.
Number 1. His physique as hilarious as this is to say, just looks average in and out of the movie (he looks amazing btw, but average by fitness influencer standards)
2. The timeline of his transformation, what he has achieved in about 2 or even 3 years checks out.
3. It seemed quite clear in this movie that there was way less focus on “the abs money shots” and the “marvel body” scenes, we all know what i’m talking about (star lord in the prison processing sequence, captain america when he comes out of the tank etc). Everyone in this movie looked like they were at a healthy body weight of above 12% and they were all wearing full body suits or shirts etc. by proxy, I dont see why Will would want to or need to stand out by going full sub 10% sauce mode in this film, there is even a semi shirtless scene with adam warlock and he looks totally reasonable.
Natty, everyone always compares photos of him literally as a kid, he's a full grown ass man now with paid professionals helping him and it is literally his job to look a way for the role. People who have to live normal lives sometimes use themselves as a comparison, but what could you achieve with his time and resources?
Yep, good points 👍
100% this, hes not working a 9-5 and eating mcdonalds, thats for sure. But there are other ways that exist.
His size and looks is achievable but it takes less or a year in range naturally.
I can't say for sure, but it looks like he's been working on building himself up for a few years
I mean, quite frankly he’s a celeb so given the fact he’s just signed on to become Adam warlock I’m 99% sure PEDs will be in use. I don’t see much wrong with that, given that it’s his body and it’s not exactly like he has lied as nobody has been in a face-to-face situation to ask him such a direct question. Looking at his roles throughout history his metabolism is that fast that I can’t quite find his growth to be attainable in only a few years. Maybe 4-5 but two? Really unlikely.
@@cynicallyhonest98 I agree with the PED situation, however regarding timeframes, most people make a large percentage of their progress in the first 1-2 years (newbie gains). After that it becomes increasingly difficult to add lean muscle. Comparing this physique from 2019 to 2022, the change isn't quite as dramatic as it seems
@@LukeSherran I stand corrected then sir, didn’t realise it was longer than the 2 years I originally assumed. 3 or so years with a personal chef prepping protein rich meals daily and a personal trainer with a decent workout routine would definitely make it achievable!
He’s young still in his prime. It’s VERY easy to get that way if you haven’t lifted and starting from a good base point from day 1. People are just jealous that THEY can’t look like that natty. Will is NATTY.
He looks natty, it took him years to grow more and fill out more
Looks natural. Remember he is training everyday and has a team of nutritionists and trainers. Doesn't look like he is on anything
Before he started getting big in the last year or so, he was scrawny for life...he's got newbie gains.
he is 29.
You can achieve anything you want in that age. you can do it easy without steroids
I think he’s def natural, he worked out at the Golds Gym I work at in Richmond Virginia over a year and a half ago, hes been lifting and dieting for years now so its 100 percent a natural physique
That doesn't prove anything.
Wow, he looks really different now. He looks jacked up.
Some stars are definitely OBVIOUS using drugs (love C Hemsworth, but no one in his 20s looking like an pro football player can get as big as Dwayne Johnson by the time his early 40s, and that dude hasn't been natural since before the 2010s), but others you can tell are simply natural. Guarantee actors such as Chris Pratt and the obvious Tom Holland are natural guys. For one thing, Holland has been a natural gymnast since before his intro as Spider-Man. And we've even seen Pratt go from an average chubby to a reasonably fit. So some you can tell are on drugs, love them or hate them, others have more proof that they're natural, and Poulter doesn't look like he's on any drugs. Ik I looked similar to him when We're The Millers came out, and I was 16 at the time. Now 26 and I've impressed even myself at 5'10" and 166 lbs, working out almost every day and eating mostly good foods, with some exceptions. As long as you eat right most of the time and put in 30 minutes to an hour of a workout at least 3 days a week, you have zero excuses to be a fat ass
Naturally possible in a 3-4 year window, with good sleep hygiene, good nutrition and training. Do I think he's natural? Maybe, but it's likely he is taking trt or something similar. We'll see if he's natural if the physique is maintained even after stopping training for a few months.
TRT seems like the best guess
I simply think they did way too much arm training but besides that he looks natty
Genetics and lifestyle plays a huge role....guys like don't need steroids. Just steak and potatoes, lol.....and hitting the gym hard.
As someone who’s not natural myself and understands how long It takes to build mass without gear vs on gear, he’s not natural. Test for sure but not sure what else. And probably a high dose above 300mg/week (yes, that’s high). And lots of eating. Lots and lots of eating to where it’s not enjoyable. But his face structure changed so much that I’m pretty sure he’s taken something else with testosterone, but not sure what. Because from my experience of using stuff for years, I’ve never had anything change my facial structure. But a mild testosterone cycle I’m sure was used, but that’s not bad as most men should be on test around 30+ years old since after 25-30 years of age we peak and hormones begin to drop. But he’s just been on a fair amount to build up size and lots of food
He doesnt look like he took roids. He seemed to get bigger over the years but who knows
I think that the most suspicious thing about this situation is that he’s a movies star in a marvel movie… personally, I’m inclined to think he’s natural but I can’t 100% absolve suspicion from celebrities lol
Its irl sid
People forget all these actors were the drama dorks at school, not the natural athletes.
My first reaction on seeing the photos was steroids. Now I'm not sure
To be fair mine was too until I started digging - it's just a huge contrast from the image I have of Will Poulter in my mind
If you have really good genes, I've heard that is possible to achieve a physique like this, but there is a small possibility he could've taken steroids.
He looks natural. Body's is achievable within 8 years of weight training and dieting.
Man I thought you were gonna tell us
That Thor scene was enhanced with CGI.
Lol, imagine being on PEDs and the Disney overlords decide its still not enough.
Of course they're on gear. These roles will be immortalized forever. Plus, they need to get jacked in a very short period of time. I don't slight them for doing it. Production needs to go on. I think it's just funny people think they're not on gear. MASSIVE EYEROLL. I have a bridge to sell you.
Anyone that's paid millions, giving a free trainer, free chief, free nutritionist can achieve these results, normal person couldn't because of money and work... Don't know why ppl admire celebrity transformation 🙃
If and I mean IF he is Natty…. He definitely spammed the fuck out of some curls.
Don't google Christian bales transformations for movies. Guys transforming every year from super thin to super buff to normal to thin
I’m sure he’s natty especially considering nooby gains he got! Now, we’ll see where he goes from there.
Will Poulter is 30 years old, he still has ample Test to do whatever he wants.
He looks pretty natty
Wow
Will traps grew too much tbh but i still think hes on something
Looks natural to me...nothing to suggest otherwise
Well I'd argue a multi billion dollar company hiring the best fitness trainers in the world for tens of thousands of dollars a month is unnatural lol.
🤣🤣👍
if he took PEDs and look like that he better get his money back. he looks natty to me. He should be having a transformation like Kumail Nanjiani or Chris when he played Thor for the first time
Honestly more curious to know if he had cosmetic surgery on his face lol
I wondered the same... possible new teeth? That can change the look of your face a lot.
Honestly if your getting paid millions for a role your going to do or take whatever you need to it to fit the role, especially marvel cash cow
Dude he's much bigger have a look at him at comicon he's a fucking giant he's juiced
This is seriously something people are debating??!! Who cares?? Not sure why I’m even here. Cya.
He's clearly natty guys!
He definitely could be!
I say take a test and put the rumors to bed.
Nothing wrong IMO with PED use. As long as - as is most often the case with bodybuilders and these film actors - they're in contact with a medical team to keep things under control. You don't see Chris Evans ending up like Rich Piana.
My perspective is steroids should be broadly legalized across the board, but then taxed reasonably and regulated. Thereby, letting everybody look like JoJo characters - and providing new revenue for the government.
Win win.
Natural.
Super suss if you ask me. Even if he started building up his body naturally as soon as your role depends on it, you get the gear. I don't blame him I would do it in a heart beat.
Well that's kind of my way of thinking too
Not always, Robert Pattinson refused to juice for the batman and he looked similar if not just slightly less in shape than will, and because he wasn't 5% body fat shredded people complained he didn't look in shape enough lmao
@@Alex-bi9mk that's true, although the fact that there is a big point about Robert Pattinson refusing to take them shows how common it is within that industry
Hes very arm dominant.
even it isn't natty doesn't meant that it will always steroids, caffeine in coffee are also quite good PEDs but more than that good diet and gene also can be the factor. beside, it also doesn't means that you do PEDs then you don't need to hit the gym 😂
It's definitely that spider...
You literally said nah I think he's not but given he's a movie star, yeah I think he is. Don't try and play both sides look at his neck and traps, most likely he had being an ectomorph.
Hey Luke, really liked your Will Poulter - Natty or Not, have you ever thought of getting a verification badge for your channel? It will definitely boost your views and subs by 100X.
God people you're looking in the wrong place . He's on probably just trt . The trick is the face not the body. From 25 to 30 your face isnt going to change that much.
I don't care how they got it. That's their business.
Hes doing the thing the old people/bodybuilders (non of them have hair do they?) do where they change their hairstyle to fluff the edges to hide hairloss problems. But technically he could also be injecting himself with plastic as a lot of pros an females do. So its hard to tell which route he took. But it leans towards the test as he's moved to the - self conscious about his hairloss; let's cover it up - look. Which probably leads to plastic hair injections anyways.
Id be more concerned how he got famous in epstein an Weinstein land more than weisnsteins chemical an plastic alteration of humans.
I think it is naturally easy to gain muscles.
Some people find it easier than others
@@LukeSherran yup, everyone is different.
It's not that hard to get in really good shape especially when your gna get paid a shit load of money to do it
what's wrong with a little help if this is part of your job
Worry bout your life bro he’s most likely NOT don’t waste ur time watching the guardians movie. You definitely got to much time on ur hands worry bout if you ever gonna get laid or not or just keep spinnin the bowl keep worrying bout other people see how far in life it gets you
Are you okay mate? You seem very negative. It doesn't affect me one way or the other if Will is using PEDs - he's an actor playing a role in a movie, it's not like he's competing in a professional sport or anything. However, I think it's interesting that so many people see his condition and immediately comment "steroids", for what I believe is a perfectly naturally achievable physique. For younger gym goes in particular, helping educate them to both the realities of PED use in movies and to have realistic expectations of what's possible in the gym is good content. As for the Guardians movie, I'm looking forward to it! Disagreeing with that sentiment is fine, if you don't like the movies, you do you.
Never heard of the guy, but I wouldn't mind his hairline ha ha.
Who cares. Why is that such a big deal with everyone?
Personally I think it's an interesting topic, and educating younger gym goers is beneficial.
I agree with the education part but there is so much information out there now if young people refuse to do any time of research its their fault. The information is free at their finger tips. The part that's annoying is thats the first thing people attribute it to. "Oh they took Test . If I did that also it would be easy". Like its magic.
@@Rufio1975 100%
His transformation wasn’t too fast. He had 2 years to prep. Natty seems likely. People underestimate how important food is and how much easier it is when all your food is prepped and you just have to eat and put in some work. I know dudes with sub par workout plans but just great diets and they look really good. Diet really is 80% of the look you’ll get
Winstrol Poulter
This doesn’t look that extreme - he’s eating a lot more, training harder than he has before - and I’m sure he’s super hungry for a role like this - can be career defining. If that’s what he looks like with roids then he has a terrible work ethic, which I find doubtful.
Will is natty all the way; it’s awesome to see his growth. People are too quick to judge because they aren’t dedicated gym goers or they know some celebrities take roids.
He blows out out of no where? its hollywood, cmon.
Hes 6 foot 3 inch and age 29 lol.... perfect recipe for getting jacked without needing the roids even.
He's physique is pretty average for a year or 2 long gym goer
A strict diet of trenbologna sandwiches
Nah mate that's just hard work and chicken and broccoli like every movie star.
I think he’s natty, if he was on PEDs he’d be significantly bulkier. Especially his chest looks flat, and steroids would balloon those pecs.
Yes brother
That could be true actually - the chest is normally a give away with these things too and his definitely looks natural.
Well fk maybe that’s what I need to grow my pecs 😂
Yeah pecs areeasy to build up even naturally, so I agree.
I say natty he doesn't seem to be ripped just big meaning he probably have weight
Don't even have to watch this video as it's clear from a glance he juiced.
does it matter ?? either way he have to work his arse off to achieve this.
As he's an actor preparing for a role and not using PEDs in order to compete in a sport, it doesn't really matter - and yes you're absolutely right, you still need a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve this. But with 80-90% of the comments in my previous video saying steroids, I thought it was worth addressing, particularly for those younger gym goers who could benefit from realistic expectations.
People on steroids do not have to work as hard as a natty. It took me over 10 years to get past what this actor looks like now. but I don't think he is on steroids though
The kid is natural ffs. No way is he on The gear. His physique is ok….nothing to shout home about and if he was on PED’s I’d be disappointed
