Absolutely blown away with what Jada can pull off at the $25 price point. That Spider-Man you brought up just had that Ralph Wiggam "He he he, I'm in danger" meme written all over it, can't wait for you to rip that pack a new one
Mcfarlane could ve been that good but man, in 3 1/2 years of having the dc license most of their figs are not that great, they have this air of kitbashing to them idk.
I feel like I've made this comment several times over the years in Anthony's videos but it still applies: if only fans supported lines like this (which I'm sure they will) and demand more quality from Hasbro by skipping mediocre releases (unlikely because of how popular Marvel is), we'd have more companies trying to do what Jada Toys does here. A shame about the QC issues though, fingers crossed mine turn out okay since buying from outside the US makes it very hard to change your figure for a better quality controlled one.
YESSSS! The moment I saw an early review of this I thought 1) that looks amazing especially at the price point and 2) Anthony is 100% going to agree. I freaking love this figure! It's a near perfect setup using simple but effective articulation - absolutely proving why ridiculously overengineered abominations like reverse ab crunches and drop down hips are not necessary if you just design figures correctly 💯

Hopefully Jada continues to do well so they can do designs past the SFII ones. Would love a solid figure of characters like SFIII Ken, SFV Sagat, SFVI Cammy, etc.
Not a huge Street Fighter fan, but I appreciate good action figures. $25 for a licensed figure of this quality is awesome. I hope Hasbro is taking notes.
I'm not a big street fighter fan, but holly crap! At the instant I see this figure I was surprised. I know you would love it. It's just awesome. I want to collect this line. They are not so easy to find here in Mexico, but I really want them. I'm glad that you could get them for the review.
It was so funny when you pulled out that toby spider man. Seeing that figure next to fei long really put it to shame and its one of hasbros less lazy figures. These Jada figures are awesome. Even regardless of the price these are great looking, moving and they have good accessories. I look forward to supporting jada as long as they keep up this standard.
Biggest issue with these is that the paint QC isnt the greatest so far, but hopefully they get better as the line goes on. I bought doubles of him and Ryu, to cobble together the best of each, and I still have issues. Paint chip on Ryu's nose, eyes aligned wrong, teeth paint aligned wrong, etc. And the chest shading on both my Fei Longs sucks and aren't aligned properly. lol Definitely still great figures for the money, but I'm gonna try to hunt for them in person with the next ones.
SFV is still my favourite of ALL street fighters in terms of character design and style, which I didn’t think I’d say about a 3d version of a fighting game, but SFV just looks so damn good. I like the stylisation compared to the more ‘realistic’ look of SF6
I'm not that much into Street Fighter so I only cared about Ryu but after watching a lot of reviews and photos I definitely want to get Fei Long, too. He looks like a really fun figure, I hope I can get one later. My dream is to see Jada making King of Fighters figures as good as the SF ones. Can't wait to see your review on the Spidey 3-pack, everybody loves them and I can't stop thinking that both, the Hasbro and Figuarts, have awful proportions, lol.
Just picked this figure up earlier today at target. Just started collecting earlier this year and mostly Marvel Legends. This is a much improvement over some of what Hasbro is putting out. It’s not perfect, but I like it.
I just got this guy and when I see him I can’t help but fantasize about a goku black or sanji head on this body I think it would work really well as either a shirtless goku black or sanji
A million times better than Hasbro! They need to hire folks from Jada and fire those clowns coming out with garbage azz Marvel Legends! I don't get how people can complain about the hinge against a double ball peg!? Haha, like you do realize you can fukking move your head all around and not just look up and down right? I know it's just a figure but why not want it to me as close as accurate to deal joints!? Some people are clowns and will just say whatever! Anyways, great review! Nice to see good, fun figures coming out! Foreign figures always be killing it! ✌🏼
Heck yeah. Was waiting for this review. My only small gripe is both the heads on fei long look kinda same. They should have given the "Woah" face as the alternate one
Got my Fei Long in the mail today in time for my Bday. I dig it. It’s a good “Bruce Lee” substitute for the SH figuarts ine I missed that came out a few years ago
i got my fei long with two of the same open hand. Jada Toys customer service was very helpful and got me a replacement within a week. edit: my fire effect is also sticky, tried washing it with soap and it didnt help, must be the material itself.
Jada Toys have really been a hit this year. Perhaps the best action figure manufacturer of the year based on this line. It is also great to hear that "bounce" back in your voice when you review a great product. I cannot wait to see this (and/or other Jada products from this line) on your Top 10 for 2023. Just imagine what they could make with the Marvel license?
I’m very interested in using him for custom work; I kinda want the body so I can use a custom oni head and maybe some claw hands; that type of articulation just makes me want to get a more animalistic figure!
It's Ultra Street Fighter II the Final Challengers. It's not from the original New Challengers. Final Challengers was completely redone graphically in the style of more modern UDON art, so this is accurate.
Great review, Jada toys is doing a good job showing what can truly be done at this price point when you actually care & try. Also I’m looking forward to your review of the nwh 3-pack because Tobey & Andrew still use the articulation set-up from the retro card Spider-Man (which isn’t even that good) + I’ve seen the webs on Tobey be painted apocalyptically bad on some copies of the figure.
Street Fighter 3 has the best sprites and animation, hands down. Street Fighter 6 is the best looking 3d game. I'm not just saying that because it's new, either.
Nice to see a figure come out that's worth the money for a change. I saw these in store the other day and thought they looked good. But thought I'd wait to see if you'd review them. Guess I'm clear for purchase now. Thanks man!
Anthony, I hope that you'll review the Jada Toys Street Fighter Chun-li. I've just ordered it, it's on its way but based on your reviews of both Ryu and Fei Long I think that I won't be disappointed.
@@louisbaez5802 I’ve gotten mine mainly at target and one shipped to me from bbts I go there time to time sometimes I ask the ppl that work their if they have them in the back
The only figures I can think come close to the Jada figures in terms of price and value are Bandai’s budget SH Figuarts Dragon Ball figures at $35, their $10 more but they come with 3 face plates and more hands and extra articulation. However, those budget Bandai figures are just old figures with a new coat of paint, so Jada wins in that regard.
My only connection to streetfighter is Street Fighter 2 classic. I don’t know who this guy is, but it’s an excellent figure. Hopefully they do some characters I like soon because I would love to support them but I just don’t want to have stuff on my shelf that I don’t care about. Vega, Dhalsim, Blanka in particular I would absolutely buy if they are released with this level of quality.
Thank you for the review, as always. Yeah, wow... I always did like this character from the Street Fighter series. Kind of wish we'd see him in the Marvel vs. Capcom stuff, as it would break-up the Ryu cloned move sets. And I can't even BEGIN to imagine what Marvel Legends would be like with this level of quality. Will be interesting to see how they handle the articulation on the bulkier characters of the series.
For the 25USD mark this is untouchable, but when people say that it is comparable to SH Figuarts. No it is not, I have both figures, Jada is exceptionally great at producing these figures at the 25USD mark, but of course Figuarts are higher valued collectibles. The refinement of Figuarts above it. I've seen other reviewers say it is better, but perhaps it's because they can't get over the honeymoon phase yet. If Jada makes an 80 to 100USD, then maybe we can compare it. But at this price point, it is unfair to both brands.
There's no reason we can't compare them just because the price ranges are wildly different. If anything, that's a better reason to compare them. SHF usually come with more accessories, and they might have more articulation, but ultimately, it comes down to how well the figure poses and the aesthetics
I know this review has been up for a while, but I got to say this: I own some of the Super7 Power Rangers figures as well as this Jada Toys Fei Long. After playing around with Fei-Long, I got to say, the Super7 MMPR line has some of the worst articulation ever, as far as action figures go. And I'm paying for more than twice the price of Fei Long, for every Super7 figure I own. I can barely get any of the rangers into any action poses from their respective shows, whereas I can't say the same for Fei Long. Super7 should take a cue from Jada Toys when it comes to action figure sculpting and articulation. I'm very happy with the Street Fighter toy line so far! (aside from Chun-Li's face not being very accurate to Capcom's official artwork) I've bought Dhalsim and M.Bison (dictator) lately, and both are excellent as well! I'm hoping that you would review these.
I really wanted to have this fig. But it is unfortunate that I lived outside of US, and the online shop on my region selling it for nearly 60 USD. Maybe it's because the tax or those seller selling it for a high price. It's just not a great deal for me. Might buy the shf line. Btw, great review Anthony!
I don't understand why Fei Long has no stand. Chun LI and Ryu have stands. Good thing there's plenty of stands we can buy. Use one for Fei Long. Right now they're on my walls. It doesn't bother me fei long has no stand. If I decide to unbox him. Then I'll buy another stand.
Just got mine and came to the video to say holy shit, this thing is awesome. I’m a Legends collector and this thing destroys half of the recent ones I’ve nabbed, at least.
I like the stylized look and colors they chose, Fei Long and Ryu have almost perfectly popped out of the artwork of Street Fighter II, which I much prefer to them basing it off the sprites. Also, some figures like M. Bison and Chun-Li do have a mix of details from different versions of the characters, which I think will make for a better overall line once we move on from USFII.
@@AnthonysCustomsat first I was going to disagree with you but after considering your comment for about 5 seconds I think you’re right. Although I do think besides the gloves Ryu looks really close to the SF2 version
@@AnthonysCustoms I agree, and I hope those sprite specific versions happen, but until USFII wraps up I hope we stick to new characters in styles that will suit any game version we get afterwards. Though sprite specific figures would be good exclusives.
Question of the day: I've only ever played Street Fighter 2, so that's my only answer. I wasn't going to get Fei Long, mostly for the fact that I have no clue who he is ... but you sold me on him because it has merits for being a great figure. I don't have to have familiarity with a character to appreciate a good figure. Guile was my guy, and while I do like my NECA figure... I can't wait to see what Jada can do.
I'm torn whether to get this or the McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat 11 Liu Kang -- the latter, especially the yellow variant reminiscent of Bruce Lee's tracksuit, is now being sold in bargain bins in select stores. Both Fei Long and Liu Kang are based on Bruce Lee so just one would do for me. With the Liu Kang though, I get a 7 inch figure (McFarlane Toys are bigger) and for a discount price of only 60% of this. As for accessories it's even Stevens: Liu Kang comes with a base stand, alternate hands, and a nunchaku. Decide, decide.
They cant make the pants to high or it will hinder the articulation man. You can't expect the whole figure to have perfect airbrush for 24.99 be realistic homey, This is 10 of 10 EASY.
As long as Jada doesn’t become one of those companies that fumbles hard, they’re definitely the future for the domestic market. On that note, what do you think it’s gonna take for Hasbro to change their ways? If anything?
Great review as always. Waiting my ryu that I pre ordered at bbts and I feel stupid didn't take fei long as well. I hope the quality will be fine on my ryu 😂
Anthony, I know you don't collect Mythic Legions, but if you're gonna do a review on the best figures of the year so far, you have to include Duban, a ranger from the line. He's easily one of the single best figures the 4 Horsemen have done yet. Great sculpting and painting, improved articulation from past releases, and a ton of great accessories plus a huge wired cloth cape with great quality, all for the basic legions price. Of course, you would have to buy it from bbts at a slightly higher price, but the extra there is essentially what everyone else pays in shiping from the 4H directly. But believe me, Duban is actually worth it, he's really fun and has that poseability potential thanks to his better joints and multiple accessories. He's the best figure I've bought this year. I'm not a Street Fighter fan, but I do like how they look, and Fei here looks enough like Bruce Lee that I'll probably use him as an animated one in my display. They look like very fun, well made figures!
it's crazy how these are only $24.99 but can compete with import brands. i hope hasbro sees this as a threat and improve their line because i'm a marvel guy and mafex are expensive to collect.

(aside from Chun-Li's face not being very accurate to Capcom's official artwork)
I've bought Dhalsim and M.Bison (dictator) lately, and both are excellent as well! I'm hoping that you would review these.
I'll review all of them but jada won't stock sf at my local stores so i have to wait for bbts
My only gripe is Fei Long is too buff. He needs a skinny Bruce Lee body. So I can see the accuracy is to SF4.
When you placed the fire on his head 😂😂😂
When I first saw this. I had to get Fei first. He isn’t someone you usual get as a first wave
If they only make one figure for each character, i agree. I would prefer game specific versions and multiple releases
Awesome figure! 😮
Are they in scale with storm collectibles
no. nothing is really
It's like a STORM COLLECTIBLE Affordables
I hope Jada toys make a Spider-Man figures.
Just get both
Right now is the best time to invest into these toy companies like Jada and Valaverse for quality over quanitity, unlike Hasbro.
Yeah this fig is a lot of fun to pose. I’m definitely just living with the faces. A solid Bruce Lee release.
They cant make the pants to high or it will hinder the articulation man. You can't expect the whole figure to have perfect airbrush for 24.99 be realistic homey, This is 10 of 10 EASY.
I don't expect it to be perfect. That doesn't negate the points of the review. You seem to misunderstand the purpose of a review.
I find it funny how Darwin only showed up for a ball hinge cameo this time around lol Hasbro in shambles
2-D Alpha series 3rd strike close second. 3D sf 4
Favorite 2D game: 3rd Strike because Ibuki
Favorite 3D game: SF4 because Ibuki
Street fighter 4 for me. Still my favorite sf game
QOTD: Classic arcade Street Fighter II for 2D and Street Fighter 5 for 3D
capcom better give them the dmc license too, 1000toys ain't it and they're old anyway
What a difference 20 years makes.
As long as Jada doesn’t become one of those companies that fumbles hard, they’re definitely the future for the domestic market. On that note, what do you think it’s gonna take for Hasbro to change their ways? If anything?
people need to stop buying from hasbro
Great review as always.
MY FAVREAT STREET FIGHTER SERIES IS. STREET FIGHTER. THEANIMATED SERIES. ANIME SERIES. 1995 AIRED ON USA NETWORK.
Would love a top 10 so far! This figure is awesome ..I agree less cartoonish face would be better though. Sweet review Anthony
🧁♥️💙💜🧁💚💖💜🧁
it's crazy how these are only $24.99 but can compete with import brands. i hope hasbro sees this as a threat and improve their line because i'm a marvel guy and mafex are expensive to collect.
they wont see it as a threat
