Hi tunnels are great down south when you want to keep the heat off your plants but up north you’re gonna spend twice as much now the heat that Green House because all your heat gonna rise up there
Your new pots filled with the pansies look beautiful! You might want to get some flower pot feet for the pots on the porch. I'm surprised your hubby didn't say you're going to ruin my porch LOL!
Filling the pots totally with soil is the right way to do it. No plastic jugs or other junk in the bottom of a pot.
They are now on the walkway... I still havent purchased trays for the bottom and they needed a bit of sun... but yes Im surprised that wasnt on his mind!!

pansies should bloom until july especailly if planted early to get their roots established, in shadier areas our pansies bloom all summer until mid november
They are tough plants! We had them blooming all over our vegetable garden ground all summer last year. They were a treat!
Can't wait until your hightunnel is up and what will happen then. Years ago my wife and I went to Finger Lakes New York. How far from Finger Lakes do you live. We drive there from New Hampshire.
We're quite a hike... 4-5 hours from the Finger Lakes... The high tunnel will need to be soil prepped for planting edible veggies, edible flowers and herbs for this season.

I've been a big defender Bryan when people have made negative comments. Even though I'm a Gay woman and have heard you make a few comments before. But you really need to give it a rest because it's really coming across as very anti-gay. Today you just dug into it. Excuse the gardening pun. Loved the flowers, sad about the anti-gay comments.
I was called a Pansy when I was younger and never considered it to have anything to do with being gay. In fact if you listen to the pansy jokes in this video they are all about being a weakling or wimp. Never once did I make a reference to it relating to anyone’s sexuality. I have even called myself a pansy in several other videos and obviously I’m not gay. You are taking my comments out of context and relating it to a completely different subject. Calling my pansy jokes Anti Gay is an overreaction on your end.
@@GuidingGreenThumbs I see what you are saying. But it actually lists it as an anti gay slur in the dictionary. I was curious and looked it up. Granted, I am quite a bit older than you. So maybe the term is more dated than I realized. I may have overreacted a bit. But in general I'm not that over sensitive. But happy to hear you didn't mean it that way.
I have never heard a gay person referred to as a pansy! and I am 59 years old to me a pansy like Brian said, refers to someone being a wimp! One thing for sure, I’ll never look at a pansy the same way again lol!
