Wedding first dance - Viennese Waltz to Christina Perri's A Thousand Years - Graham & Hazel Earl

Our First Dance at our wedding at River Cottage HQ. We chose the Viennese Waltz because it's a beautiful, flowing, romantic dance, and reminded me of the end dance in the film Disney's Sleeping Beauty! It also helped mask any timing issues because the dance is so quick! Our dance teacher, Karen from GDC School of Dancing, helped us choreograph the routine, with some of our own adaptations.
Wanting to make our first dance extra special, we managed to have a personalised introduction from Strictly Come Dancing's Alan Dedicoat, whom introduced us as the newly wed couple onto the dance floor, introducing our Viennese waltz to Christina Perri's thousand years. Our special friend, Gary Emmanuel, sung this song for us live whilst we danced. A truly special moment for us.
