This video series is awesome! I bought bands before I bought my free weights and while I will always lift weights I have been re-introducing the bands into my workouts and you are absolutely right. They will kick your ass and if you take them seriously they can be just as challenging if not more so than free weights.
I'm in my forties and I switch from weights to bands And i've been working out for over thirty years And since i've switched to bands I have no more shoulder pain at all And it was really cheap to turn my spare bedroom into a workout room

I’ve been using bands for two months and it has got me jacked. What he’s doing sucks though. So many bad ass exercises u can do. Use the tension of the band and also use your strength against itself.

Bands are the greatest for wrkouts, Can't visit a Gym, Well, in a way who needs it. my bands and a chinning bar and my mat, Does it all it could be 3 am. in the morn. No one knows im working out, Don't need a spotter , anything. But, Just challenge myself real hard. I now take bands very serously and recommend it to friends that are in lock out for Covid. You can go a long way with them keep up the great work.
Good stuff, bro...bands get a bad rep but the tension stays constant unlike free weights, even machines. I also see that the entire body is involved in the process, even though you are targeting the specific muscles. I'm sure this would smoke the core. The possibilities are endless, I'm thinking about kneeling ab curls, seated rows, squats, you name it. Plus the portability factor can't be discounted. Just looking for bands that don't break lol because I'm hard on my equipment, in a good way. It's also great to see someone on YT who is down to earth, laid back yet gets the point across and I never knew who you were before today. Much respect.

Have transitioned to working out at home with free weights and now added bands and its helping rehab from old injuries and strengthen stabilizers. Would love another video combining free weights with bands like you made for shoulders. Combining the 2 is awesome! Keep the videos coming...

I am starting to use bands and one of the things I notice is.. obviously.. they are lighter at the start and then get heavier on the way up, where free weights are heavy at the bottom and around mid way up or so get easier. I feel like I get more of an overall workout with bands, however, it feels to me more like using light dumbbells for a lot more reps. My question then is can you gain muscle mass in a similar time frame, as when you lift heavy dumbbells for like 4 or 5 reps? I realize you can go up in band resistance, but it is difficult to gauge since the band is much easier at the start than dumbbells, and to me the feeling is not the same. I am working bands in to everything I do though like bench, squats, etc where I think they have added value over free weights alone.
I have used body lastics bands for about 5 years with free weights. Bands are harder then they appear. My friends that lift are always surprised. Great tools for fitness.
Thanks for the great videos! And I 100% agree about them NOT being easy or as limited purpose as many people believe. I just got my full set of UnderSun bands and was surprised how LIGHT i had to start. Very different from weights and very challenging. One thing - is there any danger of band failure? I can't help but think - if this thing snaps under resistance, I could hyper extend, get smacked in the face, all sorts of not fun stuff.

Why can't I put the bands on the floor under my feet then squat down and grab the bands by putting hands through the loop and stand up then do these because the way doors are made now they may break?
no, resistance band create more tension ,so its not easy it gives tiredness in a short time . its hard to work for longer time when compared to weight workout. this james garge sir has strong will power to continue this exercise with resistance band and getting result from it , its not easy at all. it creates saturation point in short time. but resistance band gives dense muscle fibre . thanks james grage sir .
I would love to see somebody come up with a Bonnie building work out using body quartz. It will fashion workouts of push pull 10 and eight core training in between chest and back shoulders and biceps or legs calves that be cool.

I like the band idea as I use them myself for my travels, but with that said Ive met not 1 person that has grown to a large size just using bands,even you James know that there isnt enough data on this as im sure your bulk has been made with machines and free weights but with that said I totally agree the stress factor and making it possible with no gym, affordable and easy to transport,

I haven't tried serious steel or rogue so I can't honestly say anything. I do know about rogue and their reputation so I would go by that. I like undersun because of J.G. as he is a knowledgeable guy and appears straight forward plus honest
JETN agree unless you buy X3 at $500+ .Undersun bands for set is about $120 which is reasonable. I feel they are the best after looking at so many. Not the cheapest but best quality for the money. However, I don't know much about X3 bar
Hey brother. You can buy them individually or as a mixed set (one of each color). I have 2 sets because I like to do some exercises (side lateral raises for example) with 2 of the same color. You don’t need to, as you can always train unilaterally, but it cuts down the workout time training both sides at the same time when you can. I bought mine on Amazon. All of them on there are very similar in terms of quality

One question. How do u know that each arm has equal resistance. As it is always not easy to hold it from equal distance.

I think going to failure is key when using resistance bands.
I have bands that go up to 300 hundred lbs... so it's pretty easy to go to failure lol

Those speed reps with the bands are a great way to stimulate the fast twitch fibers. More stimulus means more growth.
What brand bands do u use ? I find them rolling in my hands a lot which is uncomfortable
