I have the 42 set and I love them. They fill in the colors that I don’t have with my poscas. I’m glad you are doing a review of them, as they are a good cheaper posca/molotow alternative.
Just discovered your channel... You're so talented, not only in drawing but all the teaching you do in your videos, especially about colors. You're good at explaining what you're doing, everything is structured so clearly. AND I LOOOOOVE YOUR COLOR PICKS! Your art is just so beautiful.
I like Artistro thus far. The only complain that I have is the colors doesn’t match up. I have the extra fine tips 12 and the medium tips 12, some of the colors doesn’t match up ... eg purple from the extra fine tip is brighter than the one from the medium tip, same with the orange and green. Brown is the reverse the medium tip is lighter than the extra fine tip. Not sure why the pigments are not from the same acrylic paint?!
i rlly like seeing others use acrylic markers, the colors of it when applied on paper are just so cool, for me it kinda looks thick and very colorful, i might buy a set, but its kinda pricey here where i live
your videos are so helpful! As someone who has never tried paint markers and only wanted to invest in one of these sets.... which would you suggest? I lean towards the 42 to provide the best color range, but i also know that smaller nibs seem to frustrate some folk... thoughts?
Glad to hear it was helpful! It depends on what you'd be drawing and how you plan on using them 😊 if you'd need to fill in big blocks of colour, say for a landscape painting, then I'd recommend the 30 fine tip ones. 42 extra fine tip ones would be suitable for sketching and character drawings ❤️
i get scared of the permanent-ness of markers, but seeing the way you use them really inspires me to give them more of a shot :) thanks again for making these videos!
I you can always cover up any mistakes with these acrylic markers because they are completely opaque, I find them a lot easier to use than most art mediums :)
@@AngelaPanArt oops i didn’t see this reply 😖 thanks for the tip! i’ll have to try that instead of frantically trying (and failing) to wipe it off haha
Love your videos🥰 I use poscas and molotows as well so it's nice to see some different colors.ive used that paper before as well but I prefer molotow marker paper and strathmore marker paper, very smooth and no pilling.thanks for another great video 😁
Your the only artist I have found whose examples actually look like professional rendered art pieces. I have a limited set of acrylic markers and was thinking of getting more only if I could first see I'd they could be used to make actual high rendered art.
Thank you for your insights regarding these markers! I was in great need of a set of extra fine markers but couldn't justify buying a whole set of extra fine poscas and so I tried out the 42 extra fine artistro markers instead. I'm loving the colour range so far! However, I did find that the some of the artistro markers slightly bled through the paper in my sketchbook, which I never had a problem with my poscas regardless of how much paint I put down. Maybe it's got to do with the water-paint ratio of the artistro? Did you experience the same thing?
Hi Hanah! I didn't notice this when I was drawing on the thicker 14pt coated paper. On the regular marker pad which is a bit thinner, I noticed in the scan that it did look slightly different in texture. Aside from that I only noticed the paint seems to come out easier than my posca extra fine tip ones ( I rarely use the posca ones for filling big areas, usually just for highlights).
@@AngelaPanArt Ohh I see... And yes you're right! I did find that the extra fine artistro markers are quite juicy so it wasn't as tedious to fill in larger areas as I thought.
Am i the person left who lines long process videos about painting and drawing? Lol It send everyone just wants to see the results but I am just so interested by the process. Perhaps because I learn a lot from examples of what to do in my own work
After seeing acrylic pens become more popular on UA-cam, why use acrylic pens when you can use acrylic paint, markers, or color pencils. I'm just curious, love you work by the way.💜
I use acrylic markers most of the time and have used acrylic, gouache, colour pencils in the past. Acrylic marker is the most convenient medium to achieve opaque colours for me. :)
I love the Acrylic paint markers because they provide me with much more control than a brush would do. And I also love the fact that you can paint over one colour with them - which could not be done with alcoholbased markers.
I got paint markers for my birthday there absolutely fun to use also seeing how my have 60 some what different colors I have both fine nib and the big nib the company name who did the markers are called lanrenweng I got them on Amazon from my little sister for I think 50$ if anyone would like to know if your interested in getting them to

Yes! They filled in all the colours missing in my collection too! I'm glad I did this too it was fun 😁
How are they when coloring big spaces?? Do they leave markers streaks??

Wow thank you so much!! I really appreciate this ❤️❤️ I'll try to continue doing this on my channel
Wow! I always wanted to try Artistro - just can’t afford buying posca all the time. Looking for a quality alternative
wow awesome! Yes the set from Artistro is a great alternative!

Kitty! I clicked for the cat if I'm all honest but your voice is really calming and your art is really pretty!
ahha thank you Phoenix! :)
This is an excellent video! It always warms my heart to find another studio ghibli fan who happens to be an artist as well ^.^
Thanks Sarah! Who wouldn't love Ghibli films, they are the best! :)
@@AngelaPanArt I love your channel btw! Keep up the great work - your content is so refreshing! 🌸

awesome video 😊

Yeh it's just really tricky finding the right paper that works for all of these acrylic markers. 😓
cool markers, it's sad that they are not being shipped to my country
Going slow and with layers I am not getting pilling and rendr by crescent works well

Have you ever use the brush tip acrylic marker? what do you think of them?
Hi there! Never tried them as they are quite expensive and the brush tips are not big enough for my needs. :)
Hi ! I was wondering how often do you change posca pens ?
Not very often, I'm still using most from when I bought them 1 year ago, but light blue which I use on big areas a lot I changed twice again 😊

Yeah, that results in a huge puddle on my paper and so much wasted ink 😬
Wierdest markers i ever seen😢❤
