Hey Guys! This is part 1 of the Ben Thanh Market video. This part covers the indoor market. Also do check out Part 2 of this video series for the night market. Enjoy! :)
I just didn t get what was your argument to make her accept less. Was the coffee worth it, after all? I go with the ground beans of the best brand in the supermarket, for 60 - 90K per same amount.
I must hv been drinking expensive coffees all my life cos at the 100,000 for 250gm .. dats super duper cheap. That’s like less than USD2 for 100gms . How do these farmers grow the beans? With slaves ? Haha
@@ShachiMall Well. Spain must be pretty too! Hahaha. My first and last bargaining experience: I've been to Turkey once and I went to the beach, took my shoes off and tried to take one step on the sand. Hot!!! Than I saw no one was barefooted around me. Behind me was a little shop. I saw they sold those cheap plastic beach shoes. I pointed to them and he said 8 dollars (in Turkish money). I gave him 10 and rushed back to the beach, my feet really needed to get into the water. He yelled for the rest of my live I was very welcome to drink free tea in that shop and I am a friend. I did a thumbs up. So, every day I drank free tea there. I think for 10 dollar total. Hahaha.

Hello from VN
You have given prices wrong. It's not 200 VND, i guess it's 200,000 (two hundred thousand/ two lakhs)
Hi I have a doubt vnd 200 means 0.5smthng right or 200.000 ??? I didn't get it....Please convert in inr
Hi Prathyusha! VND means Vietnamese dong, their currency. So 200k VND would be ~Rs. 600
Shachi Mall fine n thank you for the answer
I had the same question. What she actually had to write was 200k or 200 thousands. But she just wrote 200 which is very misleading 😂😂
Maria Irene Gomes yes
U say it in thr same fashion on countries which has low value for money.. If u go to Indonesia u will. Face similar situation
I love India and Indian people, but I hate when my Indian customers want my work for free. Cheaper, cheaper.
Is this market cheapest in the world???
Super
Umm... in your vid you mentioned 100VND for 250g of coffee beans or something. But when you said that, do you mean 100 000 VND? Please reply me
yes i meant 100K VND, sorry . my bad
exactly what i thought this video was completly misleading. 100 VND means 0.32INR ....32 paise ka coffee kaha milta hai bhai??
How good is that coffee when u compare with Indian coffee!!? 100k for 250gm seems on the higher side
How can you say rush hour when you just came from India?
I've seen indians bargaining on a simple meal in a restaurant in bangkok .....CRAZY it's not practical sometimes 😕
